Office staff was great. Well prepared, efficient, knowledgeable and helpful. Room is nothing fancy, but adequate and as advertised. Loved being next to the river trail - very pleasant way to walk to town.
We stayed for 3 nights in late August. The room in the 300 building was very basic and very small. The double bed was very uncomfortable. I woke up with back aches every morning. There is no air conditioning so we slept with windows open and the fan running. The carpet had many stains and much miscellaneous furniture in the hallway. On a positive note, the location is near a nice stream of water and walking/bike path. As the saying goes, you get what you pay for. It was the least expensive place in town.
The carpet is not really clean, since we have an infant with us. She likes crawling everywhere, so couldn't avoid the carpet. But other than that, everuthing is amazing.
The room was clean and staff were friendly and helpful. Great location and nice that there was a stovetop to cook on. No frills but affordable and fine. There did seem to be a fair number of younger people on site not wearing masks inside, as they were supposed to be. They were somewhat noisy (there was a gathering going on in one of the units when I got there late Saturday night and some kid was loudly and repeatedly knocking on one of the doors when I got back late the next night), but it did not disturb my sleep and I am a very light sleeper.
This is an economic property with few frills. On all of the important criteria, though, it fits the bill. The walk to either the gondola or the Coonskin lift is very short, and one can ski back to the hotel easily. There are a number of restaurants within a five minute walk, and in ten minutes you can be in the heart of Telluride's charming tourist district which is brimming with restaurants, bars and shops. The beds are comfortable and the facility was very quiet. Staff were accommodating and, when the ski resort was abruptly shut down due to the Covid-19 outbreak, the management provided a refund of our unused nights despite a no-cancellation clause in our booking agreement. The only downside was a two-burner stove that performed quite poorly, but the microwave and coffee maker worked well so I was able to have oatmeal and coffee for breakfast. Overall a fine choice to ski a world-class mountain.,

Great Location
This room was perfect for a ski and hockey vacation for my son and I. It’s on the river and across the parking lot from Coonskin lift within walking distance to the Gondola via the river walk!
It really was deceptively large looking in photos and since it advertised the u it could sleep three we thought it would be just perfect for the two of us but rather it was quite crowded with little room for all our festival gear

Convenient, Clean and Friendly!
Arrived in Telluride early to ski half a day and upon checking in at the office about parking they happily checked us in early! We had a close parking spot to make loading and unloading a cinch! In Telluride you walk, so never had to move my truck! The room was clean, beds were comfortable and the shower was awesome, especially after skiing! Hot tub was also a plus after skiing multiple days in a row! My only comment would be to upgrade the coffee pot to a full size pot and if you are providing coffee then a better option. We would have preferred coffee in the room while we got ready for the day and before heading out for breakfast. But honestly, could not have asked for more and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Mountainside Inn! Look forward to future stays here!
