The stay was great - the address that VRBO sent me on the welcome email led to a private house on the other side of town - called the number listed and the front desk got me the correct address - he a great stay!

This property is ideal for the dedicated skier - a few minutes walk to either gondola or chair 7. Property is little older, showing some wear but clean and comfortable with a small kitchenette for breakfast or eating dinner in (can be long waits at restaurants in town). Communication with property was great and check-in/check-out a breeze. Definitely not a high-end stay but location and price make it a great choice.
This was a great location just a short walk to the main area of town and the gondolas. The room was good but could have been cleaner. We didn’t spend much time in the room as the point of the trip was to explore the area. I was happy we were able to have a place that let us bring our pup. Parking was a little tight so once you park just walk everywhere.
Overall, for the price, this was a great location and place to stay. I was a bit disappointed that the listing didn’t specify the available washer and dryer were communal and required quarters to operate. Thankfully we didn’t end up needing it but it would be great if the room details specified that.
We enjoyed our stay here very much! Parking is not the problem that some other reviewers described. The big Carhenge lot (700 W Pacific Ave) is just a few feet down a sidewalk behind this property. At check-in, they enter your license plate to give you permission to park there overnight, and they give directions for how to drive around to park there. It's a bit of a long way to drive around from the office, but it's not hard to drive there from the main road (down Mahoney Dr to Pacific), and it's almost as easy to load and unload from there as from the small parking lot within the complex, so if you're driving something bigger than a small car, just go to that lot first, then find the little sidewalk along the side under some trees and walk over to check in. When we were there, it was marked with some big plastic tubs. Then you can walk along the river or through the old town to shops and restaurants and various trailheads. The gondola is free public transit and takes you to the top of the mountain or over to Mountain Village on the other side, and is a gorgeous ride! It runs well into the evening, but be aware that it does close for a few weeks in the spring and late fall for maintenance, so check. We were comfortable in our room, but there's not really counter space for meal prep, so plan your meals accordingly, and bring some coffee for the coffee maker. The office offers coffee, but doesn't open until you might already want to be out hiking. I hope we can come back!

RENTERS BEWARE
There are many great things about telluride, but this stay wasn’t one of them. Not only were the people working the front desk not helpful, they were rude. This location is supposed to come with a parking spot, there was NO parking spot, and when we asked what we needed to do the staff basically told us it was up to us to figure it out. The room looks exactly like it does in the pictures. Nothing fancy. However, there were cobwebs, and we found two pretty big black spiders while staying in the room. The room needs a DEEP cleaning, and needs to be sprayed by pest control. The location is quiet, which is a plus, but the room is on the first floor, it’s right next to the parking lot, the door to enter and exit the building and right next to the trash. Overall, after WE figured out our parking situation, the room was fine. You’re not in telluride to be in your room, but we won’t book this again, or stay here again. Also, while trying to sort out our parking situation, we tried to contact the host MULTIPLE times, and no one ever responded, or helped us, and they still haven’t done so. SAVE YOUR MONEY and go somewhere else.
Perfect location for skiing. It's a 2 minute walk to 7 chair or 8 mins to gondola. Very comfortable place, great beds, nice shower. The front desk team was very accommodating and easy check in/check out process. I look forward to returning soon,
