We respect our neighbors, and require that all our guests show this same respect, by keeping outdoor sound to a level that is respectful, especially after dark. Thanks for being a good neighbor :)

Furniture can be rearranged and rented to create the perfect atmosphere for your event. The outdoor deck is large enough for intimate, seated ceremonies and includes a stunning stone wood burning fireplace for use year round with two more fireplaces inside. There is an HD 75" television with Dish Network in the 2nd floor open loft area, and a second television in the 3rd floor king bedroom.

Stayed for a long weekend with some other family’s. Beautiful house with spectacular views!! Loved all the games and things to do at the house and having the 2 fireplaces was the icing on the cake! Great communication with host and would highly recommend this place!!
We had a wonderful weekend at Brush Mountain Lodge. Our hosts were clear and communicative, and everything in the house was thoughtfully prepared for a seamless stay. It’s even more breathtaking than the photos can show! We look forward to future stays, and highly recommend visiting Brush Mountain Lodge.
We are so grateful we found this home to celebrate our collegiate team attending regionals at Penn State. The home is breathtaking, the amenities are outstanding and Eric was wonderful to work with!!! Very accommodating and attentive. Cannot say enough about this home! It’s approximately 25 minutes from PSU but worth every second of the drive!!
Simply can't say enough goods things about this property!! Guys trip to fish and attend a PSU football game. This place has all you will need!! Kitchen is very well stocked, bedrooms are large and the views are second to none!! We will be back next Fall for sure!
Generally, it was great. The grades were a bit steep for some of us "old timers" (walking our dogs, etc.), but hey... it's in the mountains... right??? Very pretty. We did have an incident with our A/C and water, due to a lighning strike, but Eric and Mike were quick to respond, and went out of their way to solve the problem quickly (and at no small expense). A great family reunion, and we made many memories.
Our week at Brush Mountain Lodge was absolutely delightful. The views were spectacular (truly), the beds were so comfortable, and the gathering area was charming!! The kitchen had so many useful items. Plus, we made s’mores in the outdoor fireplace. I strongly recommend the venue. Well done!
A beautiful, well maintained, and appointed cabin retreat for our much delayed family reunion. It was everything we had hoped for and had a great long weekend there catching up and enjoying the local area. The property owners were very communicative, accommodating, and helpful during the entire process. We couldn't have asked for much more for our stay. Thanks so much.
If I could rate this establishment 10/5 I would. It offers amazing views, and every amenity under the sun. I highly recommend getting the apartment with the main lodge so that you have access to the fire pit and the hot tub. A true escape from the world that will have you asking why you didn't book sooner.
A bunch of used to work at a restaurant together during our time at Penn State, now with a bunch of kids, it was finally great to get together in Happy Valley. This place was amazing! Perfect for everyone (we had 16 total stay there) and never felt cramped or too spaced out either. Plenty of spots to congregate and for kids to play. House is well taken care of and the communication with property manager was great! Highly recommend!
The house is tucked away in an extraordinary setting on Brush Mountain and is an extraordinary space. The exterior features a cascading stream, valley-wide views, and a huge partially covered porch perfect for outdoor remote work or relaxation. The interior has soaring ceilings, wide plank floors, and lovely lighting and other touches throughout. Eric was a great and highly attentive host. I highly recommend it and will look forward to coming back.
I booked this vacation last minute for my son’s 18th birthday celebration. The weather was HORRIBLE, it was snowing which made a lot of freezing due to the cold weather conditions. Eric went out his was to have the driveway mowed and salted before our arrival. It had every amenity you could think of. I felt like I was home. The views and fireplace are breathtaking and the chefs kitchen is an added bonus. I will def book this home again.
We had a wonderful time here. We didn’t experience any problems dealing with the owner or service manager. While the owner was on site for most of our stay, it did not feel awkward or like he was chaperoning us in any way. The place was exactly what we expected from the other reviews, with all small issues being addressed immediately by the managers/owners. I have zero complaints.
We hosted our wedding weekend here and it truly could not have been any more perfect! The lodge team was super communicative and had the space perfectly prepped for our group and our rentals upon arrival. We were able to host a welcome dinner, a wedding ceremony and reception, and a brunch all in one location (which is not easy to find). At our max we had 70 guests in attendance. All of the guests raved about the property, and the lodge served as a perfect “home base” for our family through the festivities! Gave the feel of a destination right in our backyards… thank you brush mountain lodge!
We had a wonderful stay at Brush Mountain Lodge for our wedding weekend. We held all wedding events at the lodge. The space is even more beautiful in person and it was perfect for our group of 12, although it could comfortably accommodate more. We rented the apartment as well and enjoyed use of the hot tub.
We enjoyed the little touches such as the flowers and personalized card, fire places with wood included, the well stocked kitchen, and most everything we could need. Eric was wonderful to work with from start to finish. He was responsive and answered any questions we had prior to and during the weekend. We would recommend this lodge to anyone wanting to celebrate in an intimate way or just relax in a beautiful lodge in the mountains.
The house is stunning! Beautiful inside and around, well equipped, well maintained. Couple of things to keep in mind: even though it's an "inn", the inn keeper is on premise and the rental feels more like a partial house rental. There are restrictions, please contact the owner in advance before booking to make sure the restrictions are well communicated and agreed upon (e.g. noise level after 10 pm).
Our group didn't get to experience the hyped hospitality the other reviewers raved about. Maybe it was us. Maybe because we didn't book the catering and other services offered.
Overall, if you're looking for a zen place to wind down, this is a great choice.
A group of friends spent a long weekend at Brush Mountain Lodge to celebrate a 40th birthday, and it far exceeded our expectations. The lodge is spectacular - in terms of amenities, layout, cleanliness, view, etc.
Kitchen-- We cooked a few meals in, and the kitchen is one of the best appointed kitchens I've ever seen in a rental. The appliances, cookware, serve ware, etc. provided all that we needed and more. It was also the little things that helped -- spices, foil/cling wrap, extra cleaning supplies, etc. It was so great not to have to bring soaps, toiletries, and the like too.
Bedrooms -- The layout of the house allowed for all couples to feel like they were in their own private space while still allowing for plenty of socializing in the common areas of the house. Pillows and beds - A+! Only complaint (and I hate even using that word) was lack of screen or light blocking option for the high windows in the second floor master. The sun definitely comes right in for that early wake-up!
Outdoor spaces -- We were lucky enough that the March weather was mild enough that we were able to enjoy the fireplace on the side porch one night. Firewood and kindling was stocked for convenience. Ample seating. We also rented the lower apartment for two of the nights of our stay for extra rooms and to have access to the hot tub.
Service - Eric was responsive to all questions, and even provided some hiking suggestions for our group. The fresh flowers upon arrival was a nice touch.
If you're looking for luxury accommodations, this is your spot.
