Simply beautiful and Relaxing

This is our 4th year in Jamaica, 2 of those we stayed at this property. Being right on the beach and neat the pool is a game changer. The view is stunning and accommodations are wonderful. We look forward to next year!

We stayed 10 days and wished we had more time. The place was beautiful. Location and beach amazing. Both Karen and Princess were amazing hosts - very accommodating and quick to respond. We will most definitely be back!

Beautiful place

Beautiful location right on beach. Private beach and noone ever at pool. Covid testing easy to get back. Make sure you use Regal Tropix for any transportation. Great place highly recommended.

Nice beachfront view, close to pool, quiet laid back experience

Nice property, lots of foliage, flowers, trees, plan on taking lots of taxis or rent a car as it’s not walking distance to grocery store or restaurants. However Princess (house mgr) can cook you an authentic Jamaican meal if you so wish….it was very good.

Home away from home

The property was amazing. Scenery was beautiful. Karen was available when ever i needed her. I felt right at home. I can not wait to return and will definitely stay in Little Bay Country Club. Its a must do.

Wonderful stay.

Once again we had a wonderful stay at one of Karen’s rental units.Stayed 11 nights with our good friends. The unit itself is well appointed and plenty of room for 2 couples.Amazing view of the ocean from the large terrace.The pool was great and only a short stroll from the unit.Also the swimming at the beach was great and just across from the pool.Very quiet area which made for a very relaxing vacation.Felt very safe here as it is a gated community.Thanks again Karen for allowing us to share your little bit of heaven. Beautiful view, Right on the private beach.

Beautiful view of the Caribbean Sea from the private cove and beach. Very quiet as no boats are allowed due to the fish sanctuary. Nice neighborhood for walk…you can see all of bloody bay from one of the streets. Takes about 5 min to get to Bloody Bay beach via an access trail. If you don’t have a car then plan to arrange transport or taxi into Negril downtown for groceries, or dining out. There is a small variety store at the pool clubhouse for snacks, beer, liquor, milk and other minor items like sugar, salt, pepper, coffee, paper towels, cleaners , etc.. Big spray with Deet is a must if you are one of the fortunate ones the bugs love to bite like me.

Beautiful View, a very Peaceful place

View from the patio and upstairs bedroom was just beautiful. A short walk to the beach or pool just down the back stairs. Bring DEET if the bugs love you. Our house manager, Krista Gay was awesome. Kept our place clean and tidy. She cooks too!!!!! Didn't feel the need to go "out" to eat much, she's that good. Great real Jamaican fare... There is a fellow named Neville that comes on Mondays and Fridays to bring Veggies and fruits, which is great & some of the best tomato & cucumbers I've eaten. Also a fellow named Norman that will bring round chicken with rice-n-peas, and a SUPER nice guy named Miko that brings really tasty patties and juices. His leaf of life with lemongrass juice is amazing IMHO! If you like sleeping in the fresh air at night bring earplugs as there is some noise from Bloody Bay a few nights a week that carries over the water. Snorkeling is awesome too, as there are so many species of fish. The pool is lovely. Very large and the temp & depth is perfect. My grandson had the time of his life and learned to "swim" lol.. he had his 3rd birthday while here. We had a wonderful time and will treasure all our great memories made here. Thanks to Karen for always being available and helpful when needed.

Little Bay Country Club is a wonderful place for those seeking a more private experience.

The property is beautifully located with direct beach access. Shopping and restaurants are 10-20 min away by car. The beach is relatively small but it is private and very quiet. A great spot for those who would enjoy preparing their own meals part of the time and enjoying the stars at night!

Amazing Time at Karen's Place!!

We had an amazing time at Karen's place!! Karen gets an A++ for being a wonderful host! Communication before and upon arrival was great. Check in was a breeze and though we arrived late to check it, it was easy. Little Bay is centrally located to all the activities in Negril and within minutes from all the major resorts. The townhouse was impeccably cleaned and beautifully decorated. The townhouse is in a gated community with great security and beautifully maintained. The ocean view from the until set the mood for a wonderful time. We loved the private beach access and had a great time on the beach! If you're thinking about staying here, we highly recommend it!! We'll definitely be back!! Thank you Karen for being a fantastic host!!

Beautiful home in an incredible setting.

Four of us (two couples) stayed at Karen's house for two weeks at the end of February 2019, we wish it could have been two months. The house and deck were wonderful and very clean, the setting was paradise. Any questions we had and Karen was only a phone call away and was extremely responsive and helpful. The wireless internet in the home worked great, just as Karen said it did, making calls back to and from the US absolutely effortless and free. We met and conversed with some great people in the neighborhood, both residents and guests from a variety of countries. Originally we anticipated spending much time at 7-Mile Beach down the road and the neighboring Bloody Bay Beach (which is easily accessed via foot path along the water from the community) but we soon saw little reason to leave this beautiful place. We did take the Scuba Caribe snorkel/cave cruise to Rick's and Margaritaville from Bloody Bay Beach and definitely recommend it for it's beautiful scenery. We also ventured out to downtown Negril several times for dinner and a few times for supplies. We also enjoyed fresh lobster and cold drinks a few times on Bloody Bay Beach. We can't compliment Karen's recommended driver Balvin enough. Being our third trip to Jamaica we have experienced a multitude of drivers, including on this trip. Balvin is truly one of a kind, an extremely professional and cautious driver with the cleanest vehicle I have ever seen. Driving in Jamaica is not for the faint of heart and we could not have been more appreciative of Balvin's expertise and his sincere desire to keep us safe. He is a wonderful and truly honest man and will always be our driver when visiting. As for the people of Jamaica...…...we love them, and they (along with the great food) are one of the reasons we will keep coming back!

Beautiful condo steps from the beach

It was a wonderful holiday! The condo is a very nice size, nicely decorated, and well appointed in a very nice and secure area. We didn’t lack for anything when cooking. The condo really is just steps from a beautiful beach that is well maintained daily by a nice man named Randal. If you enjoy snorkeling, you can go from the beach. We saw many interesting and brightly colored fish. The property is further than we thought from 7 mile beach, but we used the same driver throughout our time and he was always available. Karen does an excellent job keeping the condo clean and overall it was one of our best vacations. Would definitely go back!

Family All Girls Vacation

Amazing, Awesome, Fantastic time!!!!! I have stayed at Karen's place in Montego-bay before and absolutely loved it but Negril was beyond amazing. The view, beach, and pool were all big hits. Miss Karen, the housekeeper was amazing and on 3 occasions the food she prepared for us awesome. We stayed for only 11 days but I will definitely return especially to the Negril place. The beach is right there and barely takes a minute to reach and the pool a 2-minute walk. We arrived late to check-in but Karen was awesome to have someone waiting for us and go over everything, we had the place totally to ourselves and would have liked to stay longer. She checked in on us but not really needed cause Miss Karen (housekeeper) took awesome care of us and on occasion took us to the grocery store for more supplies. There was never any security issues, even slept with the back door open (unknowingly) one night, the area was very quiet and not a lot of people around. We had the pool and beach to ourselves on numerous occasions. Karen Love, thank you, we had an awesome time. See you next year.

Absolutely beautiful beachfront condo in Negril

My mom and I stayed here for a little over a week in late February and we kept saying to each other, "This is paradise!" You just can't beat the location of this place - right on the beach, absolutely gorgeous views, lots of windows and doors for easy indoor/outdoor living, and accessible to shops, restaurants, and other beaches in Negril. The condo was wonderfully decorated and felt homey. Little Bay Country Club is a quiet, adorable community with pastel-colored houses and friendly neighbors and vacationers. Karen is super responsive and ready to help with anything you may need. (The TV in the master bedroom wasn't working, and she was able to have someone come fix it towards the end of our stay.) There are just minor reasons why we would not give the full 5 stars. While the beach was wonderful, we felt it could have been maintained better, there was a lot of debris and seaweed that had washed up even before we arrived that were still there when we left. Also, we were a little confused about the helper's role, because we were doing most of the tidying ourselves throughout the week. (That could be because of our personalities, though!) Overall, we loved our stay and are already planning on returning next year. Grateful to have discovered this gem in Negril.

Wonderful vacation, exactly as described:)

This was our fourth trip to Negril, but the first time we were bringing our 5- & 8-year old along for the vacation. The large communal pool was a big selling point for us. It is exactly as described, and I don't believe I ever saw more than 6 people in it at any given time. The water was clean and clear. The view of the ocean from there was my favorite aspect. The beach was exactly as described, which I found most shocking. It is truly private, and never overcrowded. There was always a portion of the beach for us to use all to ourselves. I should also add this was during President's Week when most US kids are off from school and I still found it to be not crowded. The view seen is completely as accurate, and was one of my favorite aspects of the master bedroom. Karen (owner) was a pleasure to deal with before the trip, and Karen (housekeeper) was a great help with tidying up, dish washing, and helping with the laundry. The unit is well decorated, comfortable, and exactly as described. Little Bay Country Club was a great community and we always felt safe with the 24-hour security. I even saw a German Shepherd that patrolled the grounds at night, which I thought was a great aspect they never even mentioned. The location is ideal to the resorts, the three awesome beaches (this private one, bloody bay beach, and 7-mile beach), the strip before the town of Negril (which was where we ate most nights), and the town of Negril itself. We would highly consider another trip to Negril and another stay at Karen's rental. It was truly an amazing week!

Perfect vacation at a beautiful house. We never wanted to leave.

We had wonderful vacation at Karen's house! 4 of us stayed February, 2018. Karen was responsive to our questions from the beginning of the process and met us at the property along with Karen the housekeeper. She gave us a cell phone to use and a card for Balvin who we called to drive us everywhere. Karen arranged for a pickup from Montego Bay and we were able to stop at the Mega Mart to buy groceries for the week on our way. The house is beautiful and Karen the housekeeper came every day to do laundry and clean. The back deck is steps from the beach and we swam and snorkeled every day. The snorkeling is wonderful. We walked on the path through the Bush to Bloody Bay one day. There are many vendors (who all want you to look at their booths) some resorts and boat rental places. We ate lobster that we chose and was grilled on the beach for us. Balvin took us to Rick's Cafe one night. We went on a catamaran cruise for snorkeling, cave swimming, jerk chicken meal and the sunset. Balvin took us on a day excursion to Black River, YS Falls, and the Appleton Rum Estate which I highly recommend. On the last day Balvin took us to Margarativille and we strolled up and down 7 mile beach. So beautiful. It was always so nice to return to the peace and comfort of Karen's house at the end of the day to sit on the deck and listen to the waves. It is secluded so you will need to use a cab whenever you want to go somewhere but for us renting a car and driving ourselves would have been too intimidating. The beach and pool were quiet and never busy. This is the perfect place to stay away from the crowds and all-inclusive resorts. Thank you Karen for a perfect vacation.

Wonderful slice of heaven in Negril!

My husband and our two friends headed to Karen's place to celebrate the 2018 New Year. Working with Karen was a breeze. She was responsive from the beginning, and made sure to have everything prepared for our arrival. Pick up from the airport was easy. Make sure to stop by the mega supermarket on your way in. There are other little markets when you actually get to Negril, but they require a drive from the townhouse, so this initial supermarket stop is pretty crucial for the necessities (other than toilet paper and paper towels, which are at the house). Wish we would have thought ahead a little more on meal planning, but that's on us - we'll know next time! Also, Karen the housekeeper is an amazing chef according to surrounding neighbors in the gated community. Wish we would've known that, because we would've loved to have her cook a true Jamaican meal for us. Karen provided a local cell phone for us to use, which was super helpful when coordinating rides with our driver, Balvin (who Karen hooked us up with). House was immaculate. Clean linens, great AC... the view was just breathtaking everytime we passed a window. It was so easy to just walk down to the beach and enjoy the beautiful cove the development sits on. A few highlights: walking the path over to Bloody Bay and just setting up shop with our towels a little past the market in front of a tiny bar where we'd get red stripes. Also ate fresh lobster from one of the fisherman who grilled it for us while we played cards. We rented a glass bottom boat one day for the four us - about $350 total. We used a cooler Karen had in her place and packed a bunch of drinks and snacks -- this was definitely worth it. Because of this boat trip we were able to make an in-person reservation at Rockhouse for dinner that night, which typically is always booked. And that dinner was a STANDOUT experience. Other great spots were Kenny's Italian, Pushcart and Xtabi. Of course you gotta go to Rick's and enjoy the people watching, cliff jumping and sunset. We did that on one of our first days, and it was a great way to kick off the trip! Nightlife was a blast -- we loved the Jungle, Bourbon Beach, and most of all Alfred's fireworks show for New Years. It was pretty magical. Don't forget the late night conch and jerk chicken at the little stands lining the bars late night. This was one of my favorite trips I've ever taken. Would highly recommend!

Beautiful views and great Property

Our family of 3 spent a wonderful week at Little Bay. The townhouse is clean, comfortable and well-appointed. The beach-side deck is well-furnished, has great elevated views and gives direct access to the beach and then to the large communal pool. Kids will love the large pool and quiet, private beach. This is our second stay at Karen's place and we would definitely stay again. Having a rental car is probably not absolutely necessary, but we are quite familiar with Negril and like being able to drive to restaurants on the 7 mile beach and the Cliffs further west, as well as to the Hi-Lo grocery store in Negril town. Karen is a great host and very responsive, and we found everything to be in order.

Lovely Accomodation!

My family and I stayed at Karen's place (Bay Pointe) for 10 days, to attend a family wedding and then extend our vacation to explore Jamaica. Karen could not have been more accommodating! The place was clean and ready for us, Karen even organized our ride from the airport to the condo. We were also able to use the Hard Rock Cafe Beach as our daily beach home, there were two cards in the condo that allowed up to 4 entries per card. The condo is located right next to where the fishing boats come in and out and we certainly enjoyed watching the big cruise ships come in and out. There are two pools as well as a grill, so we enjoyed grilling our local seafood catch (Mahi) two nights in a row. I would highly recommend this place for anyone needing a home away from home and when we come back to Jamaica, we will definitely book with Karen again!

First of all, this townhouse Is exactly what you see on VRBO. It's beautiful with an Amazing private beach. Karen, the owner, was Great & gave us a cell to use during our stay & sent a driver to pick us up from airport. We were able to snorkel every day right on our own beach & saw amazing ocean life without leaving the townhouse. Loved that we could take a short walk through the "Bush" & visit the vendors, have fresh seafood cooked by the locals & we were able to Parasail & snorkel in a glass bottom boat there too. I Would absolutely stay here again. Loved the privacy of gated community & I felt very safe there, Its patrolled 24 hours a day. Can't go wrong with this rental.. Thanks Karen for everything especially for going out of your way to get me 2 fans to sleep with..

Perfect!!

This was our 3rd year staying in this gated community and we love it. It was our first time renting Karen's place and it was exactly what we were looking for. Karen is wonderful to deal with and she reached out to us to make sure everything was OK which we appreciated. The view of the ocean from our deck was Perfect! Enjoyed having the opportunity to see her assistant Karen who we love...she is like family to us. We would highly recommend as we are already planning to go back in January 2018, but staying longer.

Great first experience

I have always done all inclusive and didn't know what to expect when we booked Karen's condo.... well let me tell you! It was amazing and we didn't want to leave! The view was exceptional we were steps away from the pool and the private beach. Everything we needed was supplied including having the home cleaned every day. It was better than home. It was so relaxing and Karen always kept in contact and asked how our stay was going and if we needed anything. We loved it so much we rebooked for the following year for an extra week. A short walk through the bush and you are on bloody bay where there are local vendors and para sailing and glass bottom boat tours. If you want to go to town to get groceries or eat at one of the local amazing restaurants ( we highly recommend Sweet Spice sooooo good! ) its only a 10 minute drive to negril. Thank you Karen for letting us stay in your home my children loved every second of their beach adventure.

Amazing piece of paradise in Negril!

Our family had a beautiful and relaxing stay at Karen's town home. The huge deck overlooking the beach/water was our little piece of paradise that week. It is a clean, safe, modern and super relaxing vacation spot (insert image of yourself drinking a red stripe on the deck). You can walk a few steps from the back deck to the beach and pool. Even during high season, it wasn't ridiculously crowded. It's perfect if you prefer to be away from the crowded beaches in downtown Negril. We had a car so was never a problem going out. Snorkelling off the beach is pretty amazing too so don't forget your snorkel stuff if you have it! Our 6 yr old is already begging to come back! Karen was great and responsive. We definitely want to come back!

Little bay country club condo's

In june of 2016, i stayed here with 3 friends for 14 days..we stayed in condo #649283 and i love the owner Karen Ffrench and her personal housekeeper karen as well.. her place was beautiful, well maintained and i loved the huge deck over looking the private beach.. the infinity pool is amazing and right by the beach..its a gated community near several attractions. I have stayed at many resorts, allinclusives and ones without.. i absolutely love the fact that it is more private... not as many people.. the full kitchen complete with washer and dryer is amazing. When im traveling its a great accomadation to have especially for any length of time so i dont have to pack as many clothes lol..this unit has 3 decks, 2 and 1/2 baths and i loved going to the grocery store to get what i wanted to eat and drink. Lets face it, the all inclusives food is all the same and not usually that great.. love the dishwasher, tvs and especially the hose on the back deck to rinse your feet when you've been on the beach!! To me its going to be my home away from home.. im going back in 2 weeks and cant wait..i consider Karen to be a friend and one of the best owners to do business with.. friend for life.. love the other karen to..if your looking for a more luxurious and less crowed place to stay,, this is the place!! Bring the family and enjoy... you will love it as much as we do!! Thanks Karen Ffrench, see you soon!!!

Initially, my focus was on Negril, a truly distinctive part of Jamaica that exudes an authentic local atmosphere. Its rustic charm and laid-back ambiance create a wonderfully casual environment. Negril is where our local culture truly shines, from the warmth of the people and the delicious local cuisine to the vibrant seaside town and the ever-present rhythms of live reggae music. It's undoubtedly one of my most cherished places.

During one of my visits, the Little Bay Country Club was in its early stages of development, and I was fortunate enough to acquire a beachfront unit. This investment has been a resounding success for me from the very beginning.

What makes this property unique

The unit sits on the beach and has amazing views of the water! You literally go down the steps of the back porch and walk down to the waters edge! A delight!
