This home occupies the entire first floor of the house.
Guests bring a suitcase or two with their personal items such as clothes and shoes, pull into the driveway, and start living normally right away. This unit sleeps up to 4 with an elegant and comfortable queen size sleigh bed and a new queen size convertible bed with a real queen mattress inside.

This home is very sunny with hard wood floors, a large eat-in kitchen fully applianced with upscale appliances, has up-to-date technology, high-end furnishings and content. There is also ample free parking on the property.
Great location: within walking distance to downtown and close to the beaches of the seacoast, NH, the White Mountains and the Lakes Region with tax-free shopping, boutiques, wonderful-and-varied restaurants/eateries/bars, cafes, the Portsmouth Historic District, cultural destinations/activities and much more. This home is in a highly sought-after, upscale neighborhood: very pretty, tree-lined, very quiet, and yet within walking distance to downtown.

The whole apt. is very fully, beautifully-and-tastefully decorated, and furnished with high-end content including a beautiful Sleigh Bed Bedroom Set with an very comfortable mattress from a reputable Sleep Lab for comfort, a queen size matching sofa, 2 "smart" HD TVs with one being a very large 60 inch one, and both can stream movies like Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc., and they can also be used as computer monitors when hooked up to a computer with a HDMI cable. Upscale Living Room furniture and decor includes new large and comfortable matching sofas with one being a convertible with a real queen size mattress inside. Ample free parking on site ( 3 spots on site and additional free street parking if needed,) a porch, a small private deck, a mud room, a yard with BBQ possibilities as well as basement storage area .
Close to many amenities that the beautiful City of Portsmouth has to offer as well as the sales tax free shopping, the vibrant down town with so many different restaurants and eateries, the Kittery Outlet Malls, the Historic District, the beautiful Portsmouth Public Library within walking distance, many cultural destinations as well as the near-by beaches and the NH mountains and the lakes.

Weekend stay in Portsmouth!

Great location and communication with the host, had all of the amenities, nice layout of rooms so it didn’t feel cramped. Only negative comment is bathroom is quite dated and could use a good scrub.

Great location, beautiful apt

Beautifully decorated, well appointed first floor apt in a lovely area of Portsmouth. It's about a half mile walk to restaurants and shops. There's parking available right near the apt entrance. Everything was very clean and organized. The property owners are thoughtful and have excellent communication. Highly recommend!

Quaint/ Good location

This apartment is in a decent location. You could walk to downtown but it’s at least 15-20 min walk. Be aware that the room in the building is also being rented (above the bedroom) and we were woken up at 2 am from another renter and the floors were paper thin. The apartment is definitely for a couple only. Too small for a group. Very clean and lots of food and amenities. Dog friendly which is amazing. Overall, very nice night away. Thank you!

Cozy home with a great Location

Loved our 5 week stay in Portsmouth. Great location! Comfortable bed, plenty of towels and linens. The place is clean and tastefully decorated. The kitchen has everything you need to cook meals and there are fish markets, butcher shops and great bakeries nearby. There is even is a Webber grill in the backyard. Ideal neighborhood within walking distance to library, park, downtown shops and restaurants and grocery stores. Very attentive host who communicated very well and available for your every need. She even, thoughtfully, stocked the house with fruit, bagels and coffee knowing we were getting in later in the day. I have stayed in a lot of vacation rentals and never had anyone do this! If you are looking for a place in Portsmouth, look no further!

Wonderful stay at great location near downtown, clean, comgortable and luxurious

This was a great stay for me and my wife. The place was within walking distance to cafes, restaurants, shops, etc. in downtown. The host gave us very clear instructions for everything that we needed including the easy self check in and out which was code based. The place was very clean when we arrived, and the host left fruits, beverages, snacks for us which We found helpful because we didn’t have to go out in the morning looking for a food store. The coffee, cream, etc. gave us an easy start. The bed was super comfy, and the linens were very nice. All the basic necessities were provided for us, and we appreciated the attention to detail. We enjoyed the elegant furniture and watching a little bit of Foot ball game on the big TV. The host was responsive, courteous and attentive. We appreciated the cleanliness of the place. We had a super comfy and fun stay. Would love to return.

Amazing Stay!

Immaculate, beautifully decorated apartment in a quiet equally beautiful neighborhood with exquisite architecture and gardens everywhere. Our hearts were warmed by the hosts kindness and consideration as she left us bagels, cream cheese, half n half, coffee, water and fruit. We have been traveling for many decades and never have been welcomed with such treats. incredibly well stocked kitchen, including sponge in wrapper, paper towels, everything you need to cook and a beautiful kitchen table and chairs. The bed was so comfortable surrounded by beautiful end tables and dresser. Comfy sofas in living room with a large smart TV for my HGTV as well as one in the bedroom. 15 minute walk to downtown restaurants and shops. 10 minute bike ride to beautiful New Castle Island. Can not thank Joee enough for her attention to detail to make us feel welcome and her prompt and warm communication.

Family vacation

Thank you for allowing our pets. It took a great deal of stress off of us when trying to plan a vacation. Sorry about the confusion about the check out time. Not sure why I thought it was eleven. We were trying to leave the place the way we found it. We enjoyed our stay and would like to return again at another time.

A Wonderful Respite

We were fortunate to stay at Joee's place for several months. Portsmouth is an ideal spot to "hunker down" during the pandemic. The house is in a lovely neighborhood in walking distance to downtown. Joee was kind, thoughtful, and offered to extend our stay if needed. The kitchen is well-equipped, the furniture is comfortable, and the washer and dryer are directly downstairs. There is even a small porch out back where we ate lunch and got some sun during the warm weather. All in all, it was a great experience.

Loved the location: convenient to all of the things and places that Portsmouth had to offer, and yet, very quiet and peaceful. Beautiful, quintessential New England neighborhood with Lincoln Avenue looking almost like a scene out of a Hollywood set. We enjoyed walking to downtown Portsmouth to eat out, to window shop and spend time in the beautiful Prescott Park on the water. This apartment in a house was very well equipped: making us live like we never left home. We appreciated the attention to detail, cleanliness and the household supplies that were provided. Appreciated the fruits, bottles of wine, snacks, breakfast items and beverages that welcomed us to our surprise. Got us started after our long trip. The owner was very responsive in communication, and gave us timely and clear instructions. The well-prepared House Manual that we got through email gave us a lot of very good info about the area and the property, and helped us get started. The bed was super comfortable, and the linens were nice. The beach towels and chairs were nice surprise! We recommend this property, and will stay here again in the future.

This is a quaint little apartment in a lovely residential neighborhood. The owner is pleasant, attentive and gracious. It is located 5 minutes away from downtown Portsmouth by car and about 15 minutes away on foot.

The property allows plenty of sunlight in when desired and sits in an absolutely wonderful neighborhood. Every amenity is available to provide an atmosphere of having never left your own home. The main strip of dining and shopping is within waking distance to include a gorgeous dog park with recreational courts and ball fields. Very peaceful and safe atmosphere.

An Absolute Gem of a Place

This was a great stay for me, my wife and our dog. This apt. in a house ( the whole first floor) had a great location close to downtown, and we really loved the unit, the house and all the things in them. Liked the attention to detail in the unit, the elegant and tasteful decor and the up to date technology including the keypad entries. Liked the quiet neighborhood, and loved the dog park nearby for our dog. The owner was very responsive, and gave us clear instructions as well as some suggestions for good places to go to. We were able to do self check in at our own time of arrival due to the code based doors, and when we arrived, we found some helpful starters like fruits, beverages, snacks and wine. We appreciated the thought. Overall, we felt very much at home here, and we will miss the place very much.

Great location close to downtown, super comfy beds, luxurious furniture and wonderful host

Great stay!!!!! We were able to walk to cafes, restaurants and shops in downtown Portsmouth as well as to the musems in Starwberry Banke, Prescott Park and the water front. This apartment in this house was super easy to get in and out of and to access it from the driveway which had plenty of free parking, and it was very convenient-and-easy because the apartment was all on the first floor: no stair climbing to go to that bathroom so to speak, lol. Code based entry made things hassle free ( no losing keys, and getting locked out, ha ha,) and it gave us peace of mind since the door code was a unique one programmed just for us. The apartment was very clean and beutiful with upscale and comfortable furnishings and appliances/equipment. We loved the Designer bed linens that had silky/satin like feel and shine, and the beds were super comfy which was very important for us. We slept great!! The host communicated with us very effectively and with perfect timing with detailed and clear instructions. She also left us goodies like fruits, coffee, organic half½, snacks and other beverages. It gave us a warm and welcoming feeling when we arrived, and helped us to get our stay started. The 2 Smart TVs with voice control and the wifi were super, and the big TV was fun, and we enjoyed watching sports and movies on the big screen noticing details that we didn't notice before at home. We also went to a great Seafood restaurant that the host suggested in Kittery, Maine which was only a bridge across from downtown, and we had one of the best seafood dinners in a long time. Overall, it was a wonderful stay for us, and we recommend this place to others. We would definitely like to return to stay here again in the future. We are giving our experience here: 5 stars!!!! Many thanks to the host and her team. We thought the house cleaners did a very good job, and left a little note and some tip for them although we knew that we didn't have to. But we wanted to.

Luxurious experience near downtown w/ friendliness and extra touches/service that I never expected.

The place gave us a luxurious and sophisticated experience and with the most comfortable beds and high-end furniture, appliances, etc. We enjoyed the big "smart" TV watching Netflix and the likes. The place was immaculately clean, and smelled nice too when we arrived. We liked walking to the Portsmouth Library and to downtown, and went to a wonderful array of restaurants there. The Strawberry Banke and its museums were pretty, and we really liked the " house feel" that the apartment had with it being on the first floor of a house; it was easy getting in and out of the unit, right from the driveway, and the neighborhood was wonderful, quiet, safe and upscale. The host was very responsive, attentive and friendly, and the code-based entry allowed us to do an easy self check-in which was great for us because we arrived very late at night after our long drive. And we were very grateful for the fruits, beverages and snacks that the host left for us when we arrived especially because we arrived late at night and were hungry. The place was immaculately clean and beautiful. We plan to stay here again in future Summers so that we could enjoy the beaches and the New England Summer. My Son, used the big TV as his computer monitor since his lap top screen was small, and he liked that, my Husband and I used the other TV in the bedroom often. The apartment was a very good value for us, and we highly recommend it to others.

If you are looking for a high quality, comfortable and beautiful place to stay with privacy and peace-and-quiet but also would like convenience, this, we believe, is the place.
The property is close to most of what Portsmouth has to offer as well as all the beautiful beaches of New Hampshire and Maine as well as the mountains and lakes in the famous Lakes Region of N. H and Maine. Is also close to all the major highways such as I-95, Route 101, 33 and many others making traveling to and from other destinations a breeze. Very easy to get to and from major airports like the Manchester Airport, Boston Logan, Portsmouth airport and other regional or smaller airports and fields.

What makes this property unique

Aside from this unit being a wonderful place to live/stay at, we normally welcome guests with longer term stays with welcome packages that include things like a bottle wine, fruits, coffee, tea, bagels & cream cheese/spreads, Poland Spring water, etc. so that the guests can have a little relaxation time to enjoy the place before having to go out to shop for groceries, etc. All doors are code based with 4 digit code that is uniquely made for each stay which provides peace of mind for guests, and of course, no worries about losing keys and being locked out, and no pressure to arrive or leave at certain set times to exchange keys with owners. The keyless entries enable easy self check-ins and outs at the time of guests' arrival at their own pace.
Pets are welcome as long as they are house broken, and they can enjoy the yard and a very pet friendly neighborhood where they can make new friends.
