Bréifne Cottage is a traditional style, cosy and welcoming stone cottage set amid the spectacular scenery of the Horn Head Peninsula just outside the popular seaside resort of Dunfanaghy in North West Donegal.Providing the perfect retreat, this coastal cottage enjoys all the advantages of utter peace and quiet, complete privacy with stunning views, while being only 5 minutes walk from the village of Dunfanaghy with its pubs, hotels, restaurants, convenience stores, craft and gift shops, Wi Fi, art galleries and water sports centres. Killahoey, Portnabagh and Marble Hill beaches are all within a short drive from the cottage and are all excellent for both the family and water sports enthusiasts with windsurfing, diving, sea-kayaking and yoga!. The more secluded Tramore Strand on Horn Head is ideal for bracing walks.For golfers there is a variety of links courses to choose from. The 18 hole Dunfanaghy Links is 5 minutes drive way , Falcarragh is 15 minutes and the superb links courses at Rosapenna and Portsalon are less than 30 minutes away For walking enthusiasts, the cottage is located at the start of the very scenic road that winds itself around the Horn Head Peninsula. In the wider region around the cottage Errigal and Muckish Mountains offer excellent climbs for both novice and experienced hill walkers alike. There are also numerous trails around Ards Forest Park Local Attractions include Dunfanaghy Workhouse, Doe Castle, Dunlewey Centre, Glenveagh National Park, Tory Island, and The Poisoned Glen all within 30 minutes drive away.
