Porto do Mos. Fabulous 5* stay with Ocean views.

You will just love this apartment. It is situated in Porto de Mos just outside Lagos town and offers 5* luxury for you to enjoy. In a complex of only 8 apartments, completed only in 2015, this is simply a superb apartment (living indoor space = 117sq/m). It's close enough to the beach that you wake up to the sound of the sea!

With underfloor heating in the winter, and totally unlimited WIFi, it is a truly comprehensive apartment. It is fully equipped with everything you would expect including Hypnos beds in both bedrooms, inbuilt surround sound system throughout and Bosch kitchen appliances and a huge master ensuite. No expense has been spared.

The kitchen is comprehensive. The built in coffee maker isn’t available but there’s a separate coffee maker to use. Induction hob. 200 TV channels and there are over 200 DVDs to choose from. This apartment is just a wonderful place to relax.

The large terrace/balcony with panoramic ocean views (23 sq/m) providing 2 luxury sun loungers and ample space for dining, whilst enjoying all day sun. There is a second balcony off bedroom 1, overlooking the pool.

The communal pool area has 4 sunbeds for you to use; or move them up to the top roof terrace if you prefer! The roof terrace is shared between all apartments, but very rarely occupied. However, it has amazing panoramic ocean views with a BBQ area and even has a Jacuzzi hot tub (closed in winter Nov-Mid April)

This is a truly year round apartment.

Please note, the beds are generally made up as doubles (king size 180cm wide in bed 1) and a 150cm wide Queen size in bedroom 2. These can be made into four single beds if required 'note: 2 singles in bedroom 2 are slightly narrower at 75cm wide because its half a 5ft bed). Just let us know at the time of booking.

The stunning beach of Porto de Mos is just 5 minutes stroll away with two restaurants and golf is aplenty in the area. Lagos town is a 30 min walk or a €5 taxi ride away. We recommend a car though, although not absolutely necessary, and has plenty of parking outside.

Great apartment and great location

Fantastic Stay

We always stay in Porto de Mos and once again our accommodation didn’t disappoint.The apartment is very very spacious, clean, light and airy with fantastic views from the beautiful balcony. The kitchen it well equipped too and love the large bath towels in all the bathrooms.We love the pool area as it never gets too crowded and the location to walk or drive to the beach is perfect!We love staying in this area and have found another fabulous property which I wouldn’t hesitate in renting again!

Loved staying in this beautiful apartment. Great location and fab views. Easy walk to the beach and slightly longer walk into Lagos. A bit disappointed the lady who manages the property couldn't help us print our tickets for Easy Jet so had to spend 3 hours in town trying to sort that out. Be great if the salt and pepper supplies were filled up in the kitchen - otherwise fab trip!

Outstanding location, views and property!

We enjoyed our stay tremendously. Well suited for a family of 4 ( with 2 kids). All amenities are excellent. Kitchen was well equipped with the exception of a functional coffee maker. That was our biggest complaint:(. Location and views are exceptional. We will return to Algarve one day and would recommend this property to friends and family. Thanks

Wir hatten einen fantastischen Urlaub in Pennys Apartment. Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber und extrem gut ausgestattet. Wir haben schon sehr viele Wohnungen in Lagos gemietet, aber diese hat mit Abstand die besten Betten und einen extrem hohen Komfort. Gerade über Weihnachten, wo das Wetter auch schon mal recht wechselhaft ist, haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt und werden bestimmt bald dorthin zurückkehren. Der Kontakt mit Penny war sehr angenehm und Sonia, die uns die Wohnung gezeigt hat, war einfach toll. Vielen Dank für einen wunderschönen Urlaub.

Wir haben uns in der modernen, großzügigen Wohnung sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Lage war ideal als Startpunkt für Wanderungen, in unmittelbarer Nähe befindet sich ein wunderschöner Sandstrand. Zur kleinen Anlage (8 Wohneinheiten) gehörte auch ein schöner Pool, das Auto konnten wir in der Tiefgarage parken. Im Fazit: sehr schöne Urlaubswocche.

Fabelhaftes appartment

Wunderschöne saubere,großzügige Anlage, genau wie auf den Bildern dargestellt. Es war alles vorhanden, wie man es auch von zuhause gewohnt ist, bequeme Betten , sehr ansprechendes Ambiente. Lockdown Escape

I wanted to book an apartment where we felt safe and home from home if anything happened while in Portugal . Beautiful balcony was all we needed with amazing views . 5 min walk to beach where my son went body boarding and skimming . These can be hired for 2 weeks in town. 7 mins drive to Lagos. We drove left the car, Taxi back and ran or walked back for it in the morning. Everywhere felt safe . I’m fussy with my bed on holiday and they were all amazing, comfy and lovely linen and lovely towels. Apartment was lovely and clean and so was the mid stay clean that was done . Both the initial booking with Penny was smooth and taken over by Sonia who was great and efficient . On her recommendation we went surfing on the west coast which my son loved . Restaurants are hit and miss so worth doing your research . Quay was our favourite on the marina. Anyone with teenagers internet works fine and even used a PS4. Great holiday with plenty of places within 30 mins to visit

Lovely apartment with a large south facing balcony.

This apartment is well equipped with everything from coffee machine to wrap around music! It is spotlessly clean, comfortably furnished to a high standard. We were met at the apartment by Andrea who explained fully the workings of the apartment, gave us maps of the area and was all in all most informative. Unfortunately the only draw backs were the building of a villa opposite (the noise was sometimes a nuisance) and the hot tub on the roof was out of order which was disappointing as this is something we would have used regularly throughout our stay. We would recommend this apartment to friends.

Thanks David for your feedback. Yes, it is a shame the hot tub is closed in winters. The condominium ‘powers to be’ decided so. Surprised about the noise from the villa, as it’s so nearly finished after 18 months. Most don’t notice a thing, so you must have had some bad luck with outside work being done. Apologies. We are a golf loving couple, with three grown sons and love to get away playing in the sun. Currently we live in the Midlands in the UK but hope one day to be able to retire to Portugal, a place we've grown to love. We use the apartment more in the off season to be honest, hence its available a lot in the summer months. We do so hope you enjoy your stay with us, if you choose to book.

One thing..we love luxury and so we chose this place as its only one of 8 apartments, so not crowded. We bought it when it was just a piece of grass - so offplan. But we'd seen the superb work of this developer elsewhere and he builds top quality! We've also kitted it out with top quality too - good beds and good linen! A must in our eyes...... Enjoy!

Why they chose this property

It's light, airy, well equipt and in a spectacular position. We love to see the sea, whilst being close to Lagos town for the bars and restaurants.

What makes this property unique

The view from the roof terrace is second to none. You sit there and just exhale with an 'ahhhh'. It's that "I'm on holiday feeling". And inside, there are good comfy beds, fluffy towels, 400+ thread count linens, comfy sofas too. The area is accessible for anything one wants to do, but not crowded.
