Conveniently located just 20 minutes from Salt Lake International Airport, this home is situated in a quiet cul-de-sac close to shopping and local restaurants.Tastefully decorated with rustic lodge vibes, the family room offers a cozy gas log fireplace, 55” smart TV with Roku Live TV and streaming, and access to the balcony to take in beautiful sunsets. The fully equipped kitchen features a Keurig coffee and tea bar, and even includes a loaf of freshly baked bread from a local bakery, a bottle of wine, and Utah chocolates to welcome your stay. Wake up in the primary bedroom situated on the first floor, offering a queen bed, 43” smart TV with Roku Live TV and streaming, large closet, and direct access to the hot tub in the backyard with breathtaking mountain views. The primary en suite includes double sinks, a spa shower, and is stocked with shower body wash, shampoo, conditioner, and individually wrapped toiletries, as well as a hair dryer and bath towels. A second bedroom with a queen bed and large closet and an additional bathroom featuring the same amenities complete the first floor. Cottonwood Heights

We loved the house! Perfect location to the ski resorts and easy accessibility to grocery stores, coffee houses and restaurants. The house was exceptionally clean and cared for. Our host was responsive to questions and quick to respond. Great choice for a ski vacation!

Good access to LCC & BCC ski areas, as well a PC. Quite street, decent hot tub, afternoon sun on deck in spring with a great view.

Great SLC Ski Trip

The property was well-appointed and clean upon arrival, and our host was easy to reach whenever we had any questions. The beds were super comfy, the kitchen had all of the cooking implements anyone could need, and the location was hard to bear - just about 20 minutes to Alta and Snowbird! We look forward to staying here for many future ski trips!

Clean, comfortable, and convenient in Cottonwood Heights

We enjoyed a two week visit in Lisa‘s place in Cottonwood Heights. Newly renovated and clean, we enjoyed a well equipped kitchen and a great hot tub with a mountain view during our stay. Great location for easy access to both ski canyons. Nearby grocery store and good restaurants sealed the deal.

Well equipped house in excellent location....easy access to ski resorts, shopping and entertainment! Kitchen was well stocked with spices, good knives and lots of pots and pans! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a quality rental in Salt Lake! Thanks Kevin, we had a great time!

Grad Trip

Our family of 7, all adults, met in SLC for a Master's graduation. Each couple and single had a room. All the rooms were spacious and the beds were comfy. The bathrooms accommodated everyone.AC was great, hot tub was great. Location very nice and quiet.

The home was incredibly comfortable for our family and guests. It provided a lovely space for a Father’s Day picnic. Lisa was super easy to deal with and very responsive to any questions or requests that we had. Would stay here again without a doubt!

Roomy for all

House is close to grocery, which is convenient when you need to pick up some extras. The hot tub was great after our day of activities. Plenty of beds and bathrooms for all of us, we never felt crowded. Also plenty of parking and use of the garage. Welcome bottle of wine was a nice gift!

Graduation Celebration

This house and location are a gem. Amazing amenities and situated close to outdoor activities and about 20 min from the University of Utah. Communication was easy and clear and the extras were wonderful. I have stayed in over 20 vacation rentals and this is by far one of the top customer focused rentals I've experienced. We'll be back!

I incredible ski week in Utah

Great location for skier. Comes well stocked with spices and even aluminum foil. I even liked the pans. It has 3 showers, and the Jacuzzi was nice. Having a garage to pull into is a plus. The landlord is very quick to get back to you. I would definitely stay her again.

SMX Visit

We were in town for the Super motocross finals at Rice-Eccles stadium. From the start of looking for a place to stay, Lisa was very good to work with. All the information and pictures of this house were accurate. The neighborhood was very nice and a safe place to go for a walk as we did. Lots of shopping around the area and the grocery store was 2 blocks away. We would definitely stay at this place again. Thanks again Lisa for a memorable experience!

Great Host

This was by far one of the best stays we have ever had at a property. The pictures of the house speak for themself and did not disappoint in any way. The owners are what set this place way above any others. First off they are very easy to communicate with and answered any questions I had quickly. They also take it to the next level, each bathroom was fully stocked with any essentials we may have forgotten and some we hadn't even thought about like ChapStick. For the final touch the local chocolates and bread were amazing, and we were even asked our preference of spirits. We truly felt welcomed into this house and highly recommend this property, you wont be disappointed.

Best Ski/Snowboard rental near the Cottonwoods

There is not enough space to say how perfect this rental was. Felt like a home I’d be happy to live in forever. Location is incredible to hit up Big or Little cottonwood. We never got stuck in traffic on a powder day and we didn’t leave until 6:15-6:30am, it’s that close, especially to big cottonwood. Having the garage plus 2 dryers made loading dry gear stay dry and wet gear taken care of fast and ready for the next early morning. The private backyard and hot tub made every apres our own before going to dinner and some of the best memories are now in that backyard. Plenty of space for 5 adults and no fighting for the showers. Not to mention some of the most comfortable bedding we have had on our trips. Last but not least our hosts Lisa and Jim were amazing. They have thought of everything and provided every basic necessity incase you forgot anything. They reached out a week before the reservation and asked us if we had any questions or anything. Im not sure who did the shoveling but we arrived after a big storm and the driveway and walk ways were cleared upon arrival. Had the pleasure of meeting Lisa in person while she checked next door and she could not have been more sweet. Upon return to the cottonwoods I hope this property is available again.

Great Place in the Best Location!

Kevin is a great host! Super responsive when I texted him asking for more bath towels and such. He called me a couple of days prior to our trip to make sure I knew how everything worked. A really excellent host. Also, the location of the host is unbeatable. It really is only a 20-30 minute drive to any of the mountains in either the Big or Little Cottonwood Canyons. Made for getting to the all the mountains before the lifts opened a breeze. 5 turns and you’re in the Big Cottonwood Canyon. 3 turns and you’re on the road to the Little Cottonwood. Even if you have to go over to the Park City side, there’s quick and easy access. There’s a grocery store a literal 1 minute drive from the house so if you forgot something, you can easily go get it. Super convenient.

Welcome to Salt lake City! We are Lisa & Jim Fluty. We are originally from Buffalo and Utica, NY, respectfully. We met in college and have been fortunate to have lived in New York, Florida, Colorado and Utah. We have two sons, Nick and Michael. Our boys were born in different states, raised in Utah, and schooled in New England.
BUT by far, the best place to live is Utah! Why?
The world-class outdoor activities are minutes from your front door; skiing, biking, hiking to name a few. The weather is fabulous. We truly get three months of each season. Naturally, people always associate skiing with Utah but they are always surprised to learn that summers in SLC are HOT! We will have weeks of 90 -100 degree weather and because of this you will find the best family friendly, outdoor pools & splash pads and parks to cool off in. Not much of a pool person, that's ok! head up to the mountains where the temps will be cooler and the activities varied. Utah will surprise you with some wonderful, local family-owned restaurants and small, local breweries. Utah has many things to do: watch Utah Jazz game, cheer on the University of Utah Utes football team, walk around our surprisingly beautiful Hogle zoo or the Tracy Aviary, attend a production at one of the many performing art venues, stroll a museum, try ice skating, watch a Mormon Tabernacle Choir performance, walk around City Creek Mall or Temple Square and around Christmas enjoy the tree lights, enjoy a day at Thanksgiving Point, the list is endless.
