It was a great get away It was quiet and very peaceful
Our Host was very welcoming! The cabin had everything we needed and has a cool family back story. The paved trails has beautiful views and the property was just perfect! What a beautiful place!
Although we didn't bring either of our dogs, I know we could have, and they would have loved the woods. The cabin was extremely comfortable, and the property so peaceful. Truly a retreat from the cares and worries of everyday life.

lovely place to stay
Very quiet and comfortable cabin with beautiful surroundings.
A wonderful getaway in the woods.
Perfect place if you are looking for peace and relax. Watching hummingbirds from the pool was exactly what we needed. Owners are very kind and thoughtful.
It was cozy, for sure. There was a slight musty odor, but it added to the charm. It was lovely waking up before dawn and hearing nothing but forest sounds. The area is great for outdoor activities. I went for a leisurely 13-mile jog, myself, but it would also be good for hiking and mountain biking.
Our family wanted to go to a sweet cabin in the woods and this property was more than what we expected! So quiet, peaceful and beautiful manicured for lots of sitting with and without a fire.
Thank you to the lovely owners for such wonderful hospitality. The property is impeccable, and the craftsmanship in every detail—from the décor to the book collection to the architecture—is truly appreciated. The private and peaceful setting was just what I needed, with hummingbirds all around, a beautiful pool, and perfect spots for grilling. It was the ideal escape from bustling New Orleans, and my dogs enjoyed it every bit as much as I did. A fantastic stay, and I will certainly be back.
Our family of 5 visited the Tinmann Retreat for a short weekend getaway. The property is absolutely beautiful. Our host was warm and welcoming just like the cabin. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and will visit again in the future.
My husband and I loved this property to celebrate our anniversary. It was so peaceful and beautiful. The hosts are so kind and provide everything you need.
Great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the real world. My wife and I stayed a night for our anniversary and had a wonderful experience. The cabin was clean and comfortable and the area is beautiful. Plenty of seating available inside and out. Hosts are extremely nice and the communication was flawless. Will definitely be going back for a longer stay!
