Il Rifugio di Ela Vacation House is situated in Furore, on the Amalfi Coast. Furore has maintained its ancient traditions and has many wonderful products to offer. You will be enchanted by the wonderful views and our warm hospitality.
The road from Amalfi leads to Furore and joins the “Monti Lattari”. It is the union of these different cultures from which the unique spirit of our land is born. We have the best of the sea and of the mountains. You will be just far away enough from the chaos of the Coast and near enough to the most prestigious towns such as Positano, Ravello and Amalfi.
For trekking lovers Furore is a really interesting place to discover a wide network of trails with fascinating and evocative names: The Path of the Gods, famous for its unique beauty and wild, the Path of crazed Bats, the Path of Blackbeard and many others. Il Rifugio di Ela offers its guests 2 apartments, Daniela e Emanuela, recently renovated and furnished with taste and functionality.
Each apartment has 2 separate bedrooms with bathrooms and a kitchen equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay at home.

Accommodations were very nice. However, a listed hot tub for the property did not exist. I’ve saved a copy of the amenities including the hot tub. It’s since been removed after my complaint. I still have not received a reply from VRBO about this discrepancy. My response from the owner was I was confusing hot tub with hot shower.

Comfortable, clean apartment . The Sita bus stop is opposite the house.

. A nice well equipped apartment with a beautiful view and a parking space which is an advantage at the Amalfi coast.Rosa and her family were very kind and helpful.

Belle adresse, et hôtes charmants

L'appartement est tout à fait conforme à sa description. Il est très propre, et bien équipé. La vue depuis les deux terrasses est formidable (mais c'est souvent le cas sur cette côte merveilleuse). L'endroit est calme et tranquille, y compris la nuit, et l'essentiel des commerces est à deux pas, tout se fait à pied. Les hôtes sont très gentils et accueillants, et peuvent donner beaucoup d'idées et de conseils de promenades et d'excursions. Ils habitent juste à côté, mais sont très discrets. Les deux grandes chambres sont très agréables. Seul petit bémol : il manque un coin salon, mais la grande terrasse y supplée. Nous reviendrons certainement dans cet appartement, ou dans celui du dessous (Appartement Emanuela, ref 658986), que nous avons pu visiter, et qui est encore mieux, avec un espace salon spacieux).

Sehr schöne Wohnung in toller Umgebung

Die Wohnung liegt in einer herrlichen Umgebung mit Meerblick!, abseits vom Trubel an der Küste. Sie ist sehr gepflegt. Die Vermieterin ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Die Terrasse ist wunderschön . In der Nähe ist ein kleiner Lebensmittelladen, der ein ausreichendes Angebot hat. Nicht zu unterschätzen ist der eigene Parkplatz. Wir haben eine schöne Woche erlebt.

Une très belle semaine au refuge di ela

Un très bel accueil par Rosa, une hôte très sympathique qui nous a donné tous les renseignements nécessaires à notre séjour. L'appartement est agréable, très propre, très calme, nous avons bien profité de la terrasse et de sa belle vue. Nous avons apprécié le parking tout près de l'appartement. Pour plus de flexibilité, nous avons utilisé la voiture, sans problème à cette époque de l'année mais l'arrêt de bus est à côté de la maison. La proximité de l'épicerie, une pizzeria, la poste, la pharmacie est un plus. Vous n'avez pas besoin de reprendre la voiture en fin de journée, ce qui n'est pas le cas pour toutes les locations sur cette côté escarpée. Amalfi n'est pas très loin et il a été facile de visiter la région. De belles vacances chez Rosa!

A pleasant stay

The property was very clean and provided basic necessities for a family of 5. There were 3 bathrooms, 2 bedrooms & a kitchen. The two balconies provided an opportunity to sit outside and enjoy the sunshine. Rosa was an excellent host, knowledgeable & very helpful regarding the local attractions & public transport requirements. There was no washing machine however, Rosa was kind enough to wash our clothes & there was a small washing line to hang them on. There was some confusion regarding a fee for tax & cleaning. We were caught by surprise and had to pay these fees on the last night. Luckily we had some extra euro otherwise we were not aware or prepared to pay these fees. Furore is a beautiful place to stay and away from the very busy town of Amalfi. Fiordo di Furore was well worth the visit. There is a small supermarket approximately 400m from the apartment & a great local restaurant that has in house dining & take away pizza. We would recommend this property to other families.
