Blissful Stay in Arco da Calheta

Lovely property, great view, real authentic experience of the island. Ideal for couples looking to explore. Many amenities very close by shops,restaurants, beaches only 30minutes from Funchal it was perfect!

Wonderful stay

Exactly as represented. Vitor assisted getting us settled and with his knowledge of local feasts and happenings. House had EVERYTHING you could possibly need while staying there. Clean and quiet. Vitor assisted us with baggage to and from the rental. Three minute walk uphill from the street parking, as noted in their VRBO ad. Would stay here again

Wonderful

Everything was perfect, we loved our vacation in Madeira and in this house with a perfect view. Vitor and Ana were very kind and, even if anything is very far at Madeira, we enjoyed the location of Arco da Calheta to do our daily hikes and to rest at the beach of Calheta. The weather was also very good in comparison of other location in the isle. Thank you very much !

Perfect stay among Bananas

This house is amid banana plants with a wonderful view to the ocean and mountains. A short walk from the street to the house is no problem and you can see how they grow, handle and harvest the bananas here. Vitor is very kind and helpful, if you have questions. He waited for us although our plane came very late in the night.

Sehr gute Unterkunft und vor allem die perfekte Lage ( 5 Minuten und du bist am Strand). Das Haus wie beschrieben, sauber, mit allem notwendigen ausgestattet. Sehr große Terrase mit dem Blick auf die Atlantik. Die Kommunikation lief reibungslos, die Betreuung vor Ort ebenfalls. Viele Dank dafür. Was das Parken angeht, ist generell auf Madeira eine Herausforderung, da die Straßen sehr eng und steil sind, aber machbar. Ein Tipp für den Strand. Wir haben uns für den Strand, wo meistens die Einheimische sind, entschieden. Im Navi einfach Ficus Julia im Madalena do Mar angeben. Der ist zwar steinig, aber mit einem kristall sauberem Wasser und nicht überfüllt wie in Calheta (außer am WE), mit einem großen kostenlosen Parkplatz. Da kann man sich nach dem Schwimmer einen Hotdog oder Hamburger (wirklich zu empfehlen, ist groß, lecker und macht einen richtig satt) holen. Fazit: Preis -Leistungs Verhätnis stimmt. Ich würde die Unterkunft auf jeden Fall weiter empfehlen.

Ein wunderschönes, traumhaft gelegenes Haus, mitten in der Bananenplantage, großer Balkon mit gigantischem Blick aufs Meer, sehr ruhig. Guter Startpunkt für Ausflüge in die Region. Die Wohnung ist mit allem was man braucht eingerichtet. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Man sollte sich bewusst sein, das der Weg von der Straße zur Wohnung über die Bananenplantage führt, d.h. man sollte einigermaßen gut zu Fuß sein, was aber eigentlich kein Hindernis darstellt!!

Nous avons passé une agréable semaine dans cette maison. Nous sommes un couple avec 2 ados. La maison est spacieuse, fonctionnelle, propre, avce une jolie vue sur la mer, la montagne et les bananiers. Nous avons apprecié de manger sur la terrasse matin, midi et soir. Elle est plutot centrale pour les visites.

Das Haus ist großzügig angelegt. Es liegt inmitten einer Bananenplantage mit einem super Blick in die gigantischen Berge und auf das Meer auf der anderen Seite. Die Ausstattung ist wirklich gut, auch die Sauberkeit. WLAN funktioniert einwandfrei. Wir hatten netten und sehr freundlichen Kontakt. Die Unterkunft ist wirklich zu empfehlen.

Heerlijk verblijf op prachtige locatie

Wij hebben genoten van ons verblijf! Prachtig tussen de bananen bomen met mooi uitzicht. Huis heeft alles wat je mag verwachten en was voor gezin van vier erg ruim! Enige nadeel waren de grote hoeveelheid mieren.
