The property was very clean and well equipped. Communication was good. Although I knew it was on the second floor, as an elderly person I found the stairs difficult. The street was full of bars andrestaurants but we were not disturbed by noise.

We stayed for 6 weeks. The apartment was perfect for our needs. The area is lively, which we loved. The heat in August was a lot but we knew that going in. The windows were exactly what we needed and the view was spectacular. It is a wonderful home to explore Lyon from. I would absolutely stay again

Great place to stay in Lyon

Great location on the peninsula in Lyon. Close to the river with a great outdoor market. On the street with lots of restaurants, close to some great boulangeries and cafes. Really enjoyed our stay here.

Our host was very accommodating and helped us with special requests even on the very last day of our stay. The location is amazing: immediately on possibly the busiest and most fun street and all of Lyon! The energy and vibe of the local restaurants and patrons was both fun and inspiring. This is a great place to stay. But be certain you can negotiate narrow circular stairways before you secure this location.

Perfect Place to stay in Lyon

Marie and Soraya made our families stay in Lyon amazing. Thee flat was fantastic and you can't ask for a better location being only steps to some amazing restauants, shops, an the metro. We would highly recommend this a place to stay while in Lyon and we would 100% return on our next trip there.

We really enjoyed our stay in this historic apartment in the very heart of Lyon. The apartment has ancient stonework, a miraboule entrance and circular stone stairs, and amazing views of one the most lively and colorful streets in Lyon. Everything is at hand that we needed, both within the apartment and easy walking to shops and restaurants. The owner, Marie, is lovely to communicate with and responds to questions quickly. Beds were comfortable, water pressure and hot water was great, the apartment maintained a pleasant temperature, and enjoyed using the well-stocked kitchen to do a little cooking.A special thank you, also, to the owner of Le Layon restaurant, Stéphane, who helped 3 tired and confused travellers open the keybox when we arrived. (You must try his restaurant! Wonderful food!)

Stay in Lyon for Taylor Swift Concert

We had a lovely time! Our host was very prompt with responses and she was able to get us early entry into the Apt., which was fantastic after our overnight flight. The space was clean and we loved being centrally located. The views of the street from the windows were very special.

They were welcoming us nicely. Some light bulbs were not working so we needed to get them. The lock outside got broken in the middle of our stay so my husband couldn’t come in the building after he went out for jogging. Things are old but still usable. We loved the location. Very very convenient for anything.

Great Location

This apartment is well located amongst some really great restaurants just downstairs and the sights. Everything is with walking distance. The only thing I would mention is the apartment is on the second and getting your luggage up the stairs might present a challenge for some. I would recommend this apartment to anyone who is staying in the beautiful city of Lyon

Excellent location

I stayed here for three nights while introducing my friend to wonderful Lyon. Everything is within walking distance. As with all old buildings, the apartment is not without its quirks. We enjoyed the place, nonetheless. Marie was very quick to get back to us with requested information.

Lovely French Apt, great location!

The apt is as described, and the space is great with four big windows for perfect light! The apt was situated in a great location, great restaurant just downstair, we ate there 2x's. Couple of coffee cafe's near by to experience the French bakes was a plus. A nice walk to the Old Lyon just beautiful. We had abit of issue with the lockbox, but this was resolved and our stay at Marie's place was very nice. I highly recommend.

Great location, could be cleaner

Loved the location! It was very hot and the fans helped a bit, but it would be nice if there was air conditioning. The one negative was the general cleanliness. Just from walking on the floors, our feet were completely black on bottom.

Exactly what we were looking for

The location is perfect, one block from the Saône and a the wonderful open market of Saint Antoine. The owner is very gracious and accommodating. We did not find the instructions for the TV, nor the remote control for the existing air conditioning. The apartment gets very warm and the street is very noisy at night so opening the four large windows on the street is not an option at night. We made it work with the multiple fans and enjoyed our stay very much.
