Access to Guavaberry Country Club, Gary Player's Signature Guavaberry Golf Course (green fees not included but special discounts available), Tennis Courts & Biking Trails are included in rental. Access to the Beach Club or any other amenities must be arranged in advance.

Comfortably sleeps 16 in beds and has a pull out sofa which can sleep 2 more. Over 16 guests is a $25 per extra guest per night fee.

Many events (weddings, birthday parties, corporate events) have been held at the villa. The owner approves these events on a one by one basis. Please feel free to inquire with us about your event! Most events require an additional event fee.

By default, the jacuzzi will be unheated. Due to heating costs, it is an additional $50 charge to heat the jacuzzi. It will stay heated approximately 2 days from one heating. Due to repeated damages to the washer and dryer, they are not available for use without special permission from the owner.

Because Guavaberry is a secure, gated community, we will need the names of your rental group members so we can provide a guest list to security at the front gate. This will enable you to come and go from the community at your leisure. Any approved guests that will be visiting during your stay will also require us to provide their name(s) to the front gate as well.

Guavaberry Golf & Country Club is an upscale community with 24 hour controlled gated access located in the beach resort town of Juan Dolio, Dominican Republic which is 45 minutes outside of Santo Domingo and only 30 minutes from the Las Americas International Airport.

- 40 mins to Los Tres Ojos ('The Three Eyes') are a series of freshwater lagoons amid 50-foot tall limestone caves. These caves were famous as settings for both the Tarzan movies and Jurassic Park.
- 45 mins to Santo Domingo and the historic Zona Colonial ('Colonial Zone') where you can get an unrivaled glimpse into the first European City of the New World. Founded in 1498 by none other than Christopher Colombus himself, the capital city boasts some of the oldest buildings in the world including the oldest fortress in the world. Simply stated, Zona Colonial should not be missed.
- 1 hr to Altos de Chavón, the biggest attraction in La Romana, Dominican Republic. It is a re-creation of a medieval European village conceived from the imagination of Roberto Copa, a former Paramount Pictures set designer, and Charles Bluhdorn. I have been there and it is captivating!
- There are even more sightseeing opportunities, such as the Taino Caves, Isla Catalina (Catalina Island), Isla Sanoa (Sanoa Island) and the list goes on and on.

WiFi is available. Please keep in mind you are in a beach town on a Caribbean Island so bandwidth and speed expectations should be kept in perspective. For example, it’s great for checking emails and perusing social media, but not so great for streaming videos.

As a result of several unauthorized commercial video recordings occurring at the villa, we have installed 4 exterior video cameras for the purpose of avoiding this situation in the future. One camera is pointed at the back door (not the pool area), one of the exterior west side, one is the exterior east side and one is to monitor the front door. Authorized music videos, movies, etc are welcome. We only ask that you please seek the owner's approval first.

A 2 day minimum stay is required for rental. A liability note about the area containing our pool and jacuzzi and your group’s assumption of risk.
By booking and staying at this villa, all rental guests acknowledge and agree that the use of the property, including but not limited to the swimming pool and surrounding areas, involves inherent risks of injury, illness, or death.

The swimming pool has no child safety barriers, gates, or lifeguards, and it is the sole responsibility of the guest(s) to supervise themselves, their children, and any other invitees at all times. In consideration for being permitted to stay at the property, the guest(s), on behalf of themselves, their children, heirs, and assigns, hereby release and discharge the property owner(s), manager(s), and their representatives from any and all claims, liabilities, demands, or causes of action arising out of or related to injury, accident, illness, or death that may occur on or near the property, including the swimming pool. The guest(s) agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the property owner(s), manager(s), and their representatives from any claims, damages, or expenses (including attorney’s fees) arising out of the guest’s use of the property, including the pool. No lifeguard is on duty. Children must be supervised at all times. Guests are responsible for ensuring safe and appropriate behavior in and around the pool. Alcohol or drug use near the pool is strongly discouraged.
