This distinctive home offers an ideal meditative retreat for an artist or writer, a romantic getaway for a couple, or the perfect vacation for a small family or group. This landmark home, located at 107 Ariola Drive, is long known by locals as the "Treehouse" because of its beautiful cypress siding and elevated deck. The views from here are stunning at any time of day. The lanai-style lower deck and the shaded, screened-in patio offer plenty of room to enjoy the extensive collection of indigenous beach-zone plant life in the zero-scaped yard. Pets will also be at home here with the doggie door and cypress fence enclosure.

The Treehouse is located at the beginning of the beach's quieter residential section, but still less than a block away from restaurants, bars, and shops. It is across the street from the Gulf of Mexico, with beach access via the convenient boardwalk.

The interior features granite and marble counters, tile and Brazilian cherry floors, solid oak cabinets, and teak, cherry and sinker cypress wood trim. A large walk-in closet separates the master bedroom from the master bath, which offers a bidet and oversized tub with a custom tile surround. The loft bedroom has a full-sized bed and more importantly, the best views - from the Gulf to the Sound, all the way to Downtown Pensacola. Another half bath and full laundry are located below.

Visiting from the UK and although lived in the area years ago, so somewhat familiar with expectations, this was exactly what I was looking for. Although technically second line, you have direct access to the beach as soon you walk out of the place. Also, very handy having the property Management company (paradise beach homes) a 2 minute walk from you.. the staff there were super friendly. Perfect location! Walking distance to main beach and boardwalk (about 10-15 mins). 2 minute walk from a different stretch of shops/bars/restaurants. Gas/Petrol station 1 minute walk for amenities if needed. 30 seconds from the beach.

Great short stay

Overall the house had all the amenities we needed. The only downside was that the beds were not comfortable at all. Since it is a pet friendly property, it would benefit the guests to have larger beds as well.

The beach is steps away which is a HUGE plus. The house is fully equiped for cooking and we didn't find there was anything we needed. It's a very eclectic home which we love, very quiet and cozy. Highly recommended.

So close to the beach and shops, but peaceful.The only thing to note is the porch in the yard needs attention, it is very unsturdy and not safe to walk on. Other than that very clean and great views. Would rent again.

Eclectic Tree House

If you are looking for perfect, it isn’t this house. If you like eclectic, this is your house. Great fenced in yard for dogs. Pet fees are a bit over the top. Not a good place if you cannot handle stairs. Be careful on outdoor structure. Nice neighborhood with easy beautiful beach access across the street. Overall, a nice place to stay.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Cute little place close to the ocean, places to eat and the only convenient store all with in two or three blocks walk. All amenities were there. The West balcony is great to set out on for morning coffee because the house blocks the morning sun and provides a great shaded area in the AM.Down side, the yard pics need updated because crows nest shown in pictures has been torn down. The yard is not that dog friendly because of thorny vines that have taken over the yard and needs to be removed for dog mobility and safety. The main bedroom needs blinds about the bedroom windows because the next door property yard lights shine in on the ceiling making the room very bright at night. The screened in patio is nice, but the screens were coming off both doors. All simple fixes that should be completed to have the property up to standard for the price point.

Great location, Good for a small family, needs upkeep outside

The location was great, beach access right across the street, could walk to town, but still a quiet neighborhood. The house was mostly as described in the listing. However, it should be noted there is not a door on the second bedroom, it is a loft space. It worked okay but my teenager would have liked some privacy sometimes. Interior of the house was clean and well appointed with furnishings and beds were comfortable. However, the exterior space needs some basic upkeep. The furniture on the deck was rusty or plastic was cracked and needs to be replaced. The second deck in the yard did not seem structurally sound so we did not use it. We elected this property partially due to a Fenced yard for dogs, but we did not trust it to keep our dogs contained because of several broken areas, so we had to keep our dogs on leash the entire time. For the price at a location where you mostly want to enjoy the outdoors, I expect good exterior furniture and upkeep.

Beautiful artwork that I really appreciated, the color scheme was beautiful, so much literature (and poetry!) to read, just steps from the beach, and everything within walking distance. The screened-in sun room was perfect for relaxing, there are 2 water spickets to rinse sandy feet, amenities were top notch and easy to use, and the bidet a very special treat! The plumbing and water pressure were out of this world! The home was very clean, and we had everything we needed for our stay. There was plenty of space for just my husband and I to enjoy this beautiful home. We even had the pleasure of meeting the owner. There are stairs to navigate which is a little hard on my husband and I, however, we decided it would not be a deterrent for a future stay. The bed was a little hard for me, but can easily be remedied with a mattress pad the next time I visit. The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet, and I also appreciated that. Paradise Beach Homes has definitely earned a customer, they were professional and helpful with the reservation process and check-in, and then when we decided to extend our stay (because I didn’t want to leave!). Everything went so smoothly, and I am just so impressed by this whole experience. I found this home to be a healing environment, and felt very safe in the home and the neighborhood. It was exactly what I was looking for. I will definitely be returning to this home.

It had all of the kitchen and bathroom items we needed for our stay. The house was a bit dated and the yard needed some attention, but otherwise it was a great house. Pet Friendly Thanksgiving at the Tree House!

Only flaw was that the inside stairs were slippery for paws and claws, had to use the outside stairs for our pet. Some carpeting on the inside stairs would solve that problem.
