The Yosemite Paradise Chalet is the perfect getaway for Yosemite Park. Completely renovated so everything is new, fresh and clean. The Chalet is a private home in a unique community INSIDE the gates of Yosemite Park with easy access to the Park attractions. It is located near the Glacier Point road and HWY 41, the main road in the park.

This is a beautiful 2-story home with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living room, loft, 2 decks, a full kitchen with granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances, eco-friendly bamboo wood floors, fresh paint and new furniture.

The kitchen is equipped with all the major appliances, dinnerware and organic supplies you will need for a quick snack or gourmet meal. We have stocked organic fair-trade coffee and teas and over 30 organic spices, in addition to a large microwave, quiet dishwasher, coffee maker, tea kettle, blender, stand mixer, food processor, slow cooker, fine cutlery, 5-burner gas stove with custom griddle, convection oven and a large refrigerator with in-door ice and chilled water dispensers. A reverse osmosis water filter and LED lighting complete this luxury vacation home.

The Chalet has full house air conditioning, remote control heating, Dish HD TV and satellite internet. We have stocked the home with games, books and park information. The covered rear deck is tucked away in the back to provide you a quiet and private place to relax and enjoy the birds, animals and forest views. The front deck is large with chairs, tables and special lounge chairs for children. A gas barbecue is provided for your grilling pleasure.

The bedrooms are furnished with quality mattresses, linens and plenty of storage. There are remote controls for AC, heat, ceiling fans and even a heated bed cover for your personal comfort.

There is a king bed with day bed and full closet in the main floor bedroom. The 2nd floor bedroom has a comfortable queen bed, dresser and windows with forest views.

Each bathroom is stocked with organic soap, shampoo and conditioner, and has a Jacuzzi jetted tub to help you relax after a long day of hiking and exploring the wonders of Yosemite.

The Chalet is finished with eco-friendly bamboo wood floors, a modern color palette, scenic artwork, LED lighting with dimmers, new windows with forest views and new mahogany doors throughout the home. All the furnishing are new and designer quality.

Please note there are security cameras outside the chalet that monitor the front door, back door, shed door, and the driveway.

This is the perfect getaway for two couples, a small family or friends in search of a new Yosemite adventure.

We recently stayed at this house, and overall, it was pretty great! The kitchen had everything we needed, with awesome appliances and a good set of pots and pans, making it easy to whip up meals after our long hikes. We loved the sound system for music during game nights, too. That said, there were a few things that could use some attention. The place could’ve been cleaner; there was a lot of dust on the baseboards, and the fans had visible dust on the blades. We even spotted some cobwebs on the sconces and ceiling fans, and the upstairs toilet had a bit of a ring that wasn’t nice to see.Another small bummer was the towel situation. There were only five towels and washcloths for five guests, which wasn’t quite enough for us.All in all, this house was a nice spot to come back to after our adventures, but it would be a hit if they could improve on the cleanliness and more towels.

The Chalet was the perfect size for our family of four. It is incredibly well stocked with anything you may need to cook any meal, and generous supplies of toiletries. The Chalet was clean and well kept. Great selection of streaming services and very reliable internet. We spent a great amount of time playing game boards and card games, all available at the Chalet. We were a bit hesitant about the steep driveway, but we didn’t have any problems. We had a wonderful time and cannot wait to stay at the Chalet again.

The cabin was great! Very clean and well stocked with a blender, olive oil, coffee, etc. The driveway was a little steep (which is pretty normal for the area) but it could use some repair work. We had two cars and it was difficult to park both. Luckily it was not snowy, it would not have been possible in the snow. The upstairs queen been is two twin? size beds put together which was a little annoying as a tall guy.

We had a fantastic stay! The cabin is cute & comfortable, perfect for a family gathering. There are toys & games for kids, a high-chair and a porta-crib. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need to cook for your family, including a stand-mixer, food processor, insta-pot, baking dishes, and even oils & spices. The parking spaces are up a steep, narrow driveway and there is no street parking. It would be a little tough to park if there were snow or ice.

We had a great stay at the Chalet. We woke up early and made coffee and ate breakfast, then explored the park all day and loved coming home to the Chalet for a shower and good nights sleep!! This was the perfect spot for our family vacation to Yosemite. While it's about 30 minutes to most of the main attractions in the Yosemite Valley, that's about as close as you are going to get unless you stay in one of the lodges in the park. We are a young family with two beautiful girls who love to explore the wonders of Yosemite. I work long days in the medical research field, my wife is busy with the girls and we split our time between San Jose and Yosemite.

Why they chose this property

We had explored Yosemite Park for years before finding the Chalet in 2014. The house was a diamond in the rough. After a year of extensive remodeling we have created our dream vacation home that we are proud to share with travelers to the Park.

What makes this property unique

The Chalet is a private home on a large lot in Yosemite West. This special community is located inside the gates of the Park at 6000' elevation in the Sierra Nevada Mountains.

We're the perfect location to base your exploration of Yosemite. It's 25 minutes north to Yosemite Valley, 25 minutes east to Glacier Point, 15 minutes to Badger Pass and 25 minutes south to Wawona. The three main attractions of Yosemite are easy and scenic drives from the Chalet.

We are one of the few properties to have air conditioning to help beat the summer heat.
