About this property

BEAUTIFUL HOUSE PERIGOURDINE STONE

At the end of the road, the house of 70 m², without any opposite and quiet, will seduce you with its pleasant garden of 1000 m² and its wooden terrace facing south.
On the ground floor, you enter a living room with a sitting area and sofa bed (with a real mattress for your comfort!), and a dining area.
Then you go to a large kitchen with dishwasher, then a bathroom / WC with walk-in shower and toilet suspended (Renovated in 2017).
Upstairs, a large and comfortable room, with a bed 2 persons and a bed 1 person, awaits you. (renovation 2014, bedding 2014)
Behind the house you can enjoy a new terrace area with garden furniture and outdoor dining (new 2015), you access the garden by a small staircase.
We are waiting for you for pleasant holidays in Périgord Pourpre, near very beautiful sights like Bergerac at 20 min, Monbazillac at 30 min, Sarlat-la-Canéda at 45 min, Limeuil at 20 min, Beynac, La Rocque-Gageac, the Château des Milandes by Joséphine Backer etc ...
A few hundred meters you can fish in rivers or lakes.
At 20 m, access to the forest for ballad and bike.
A 20 min by car, the Jacquou park for children with attractions and aqualud area, opens its doors.
Come to discover many gardens, castles, chasms, caves, typical markets etc ... nearby.
Enjoy canoeing, ballad in Gabares, hot air balloon trips ... to relax and take full eyes!

A beautifully relaxing Gite

An idillic and relaxing, well equipped Gite with a well maintained private pool and large enclosed garden set in the middle of the Dordogne countryside. Perfect location for visiting local markets, chateaux and other places of interest or simply using the facilities to relax and enjoy.

Our second visit - it’s fantastic

This was our second visit to Sabrina’s place, we never usually go back to the same place twice, but we have with this one and that says a lot. It’s in a beautiful location, private, lovely outdoor space with a fantastic pool. The inside is compact, but has everyone you need and want. You won’t regret booking it.

We had a lovely warm welcome at this charming property. The pool is modern and clean, with an even tile surround, and is set in a well maintained private garden which isn’t overlooked. There are plenty of options to sit out (and eat) in the sun or shade. stay.

Great holiday house, garden & pool

Had a fantastic week in October in this house. The house & garden are great. The enclosed garden was fantastic for letting our dog run around. It’s very peaceful having no close neighbours. Has an added bonus with the wonderful private pool. The Dordogne region is on the doorstep with many great places to visit with a short drive. Would love to return in the future.

Beautiful Property in a stunning location

We had a wonderful stay here and enjoyed every moment of it. The location of the property is just what we look for when we go on holiday, very private and secluded. The property is beautiful and we loved all the original features in the house. My only thoughts would be that a key safe or box could be used, especially for guests leaving early / arriving late. No criticism, just an observation that might help future guests and also Noelle.

The perfect retreat

It’s so hard to find a small property with its own (very) private pool for couples. This place is perfect. The Gite looks like something from a fairy tale, spotlessly clean inside and out (try walking in white socks from the front door, through the house and up to the pool, spotless. People have left wee bits and bobs like bbq stuff (don’t buy matches there are loads). Feels like you’re in the middle of nowhere (it’s so quiet!) but actually just 25 mins to Bergerac, which is a very nice day out and has all the shops you might need. We visited Bordeaux too. Closeby, the wee town of Lalinde is great for souvenirs, coffee and patisserie. Should also say, the outdoor space is incredible, lots of seating and shade and the pool is sublime. Couples and families will love it. Directions: follow Google maps right up to the last minute then ignore completely, it takes your to another property. The driveway isn’t marked physically in any way and because it has a grass in the middle of it, it kinda feels like you shouldn’t be turning in. Trust your gut and use the directions in the booking info. What Three Words for the turn into the drive are exploit.atmospheric.handshake.

Das äußerlich nette Häuschen hielt leider nicht, was der relativ hohe Mietpreis versprach. Mind. die Hälfte des Stauraumes im Haus war belegt, teilweise abgeschlossene Schränke.Kein Platz um Koffer etc. abzustellen. Das einladend mit offener Türe angebotene Gerätehaus im Garten stand nicht einmal für den mitgebrachten E-Scooter zur Verfügung. Pool, Terasse und Garten waren tadellos.Leider endete das Rohr für die Entlüftung der Sickergrube ca. 2,5 m neben und genau auf Höhe des einzigen Schlafzimmerfensters (siehe Foto). Eine Behandlung der Sickergrube mit Chemikalien brachte keine Änderung. Die Geruchsbelästigung war so ekelhaft und andauernd, was letztlich zu einem vorzeitigen Abbruch unseres Aufenthaltes führte. Empfehlen können wir dieses Objekt nicht und wir werden definitiv nicht wiederkommen.
Abluftrohr der Sickergrube endet in kurzer Entfernung zum Schlafzimmerfenster mit extrem starker Geruchsbelästigung

Séjour dépaysant au calme

Belle maison périgourdine pleine de charme, très bien équipée. Nous avons bien été accueillis. L'espace piscine est vraiment un plus dans cette région ensoleillée. Nous y reviendrons avec plaisir.

Geweldig huis met tuin

We hebben een geweldig verblijf gehad, hoewel het weer ons niet helemaal mee zat, waardoor we niet optimaal gebruik hebben kunnen maken van het zwembad. Desondanks hebben we erg genoten van de tuin, het zwembad en het huis. Onze complimenten voor de schoonmaak, die uitstekend was. Helaas verliep de aankomst wat rommelig, omdat de heer ter plaatse geen andere taal sprak, wat communicatieproblemen met zich meebracht. Ondanks dit ongemak werd het welkom niet minder hartelijk. Wij willen u ook bedanken voor de heerlijke fles rosé die wij hebben ontvangen. De communicatie met u als verhuurder verliep zeer goed en snel. Het huis was zeer compleet en ook bij slecht weer konden we er goed vertoeven. We hebben door omstandigheden gebruik moeten maken van de slaapbank, maar deze sliep verrassend goed. De tuin is ook erg geschikt voor honden; hoewel niet volledig omheind, was deze goed genoeg om ze rustig los te laten lopen. Wat betreft de omgeving, vonden wij deze niet bijzonder. We hebben geen wandelpaden kunnen vinden, wat wij als een gemis hebben ervaren. In Lalinde hebben we echter diverse goede bakkerijen en een Intermarché ontdekt, en de markt op donderdagochtend was zeker de moeite waard. Deze markt was groter dan de markt op woensdagochtend in Bergerac, een stad die absoluut de moeite van een bezoek waard is door zijn historie. Hartelijk dank voor uw gastvrijheid en de goede communicatie. Wij kijken terug op een prettig verblijf.

Wunderschönes Ferienhaus zur Alleinnutzung

Wir haben vor allem den sehr schön angelegten und gepflegten Garten und den großen Pool dieses Feriendomizils genossen. Das Ferienhaus hatte eine ausreichende Ausstattung. Umliegend konnte man viele Burgen/ Schlösser besuchen.

Absolut empfehlenswert!!!

Wir haben Ruhe, Abgeschiedenheit und Erholung gesucht und haben genau das gefunden. Ein wunderschönes Haus, ausgestattet mit allem was man braucht und mehr. Genau richtig für Selbstversorger, Geschirr, Küchenutensilien - grillen, kochen sogar backen ist möglich. Das Highlight ist natürlich der grosse Pool zur alleinigen Nutzung. Mit wirklich ausreichend Liegestühlen und Sitzgelegenheiten perfekt zum erholen und entspannen. Aber auch an Tagen mit weniger gutem Wetter kann man es gut aushalten: Wlan, Fernseher, Gesellschaftsspiele, sogar eine Wii ist vorhanden. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt es in Lalinde oder Bergerac. In Bergerac findet jeden Mittwoch ein Wochenmarkt statt, Obst, Gemüse, Brot - alles frisch -sehr zu empfehlen. Alles in allem war es für uns ein rundrum entspannter Urlaub, so wie wir ihn wollten. Absolut empfehlenswert und vielleicht kommen wir trotz der langen Anreise wieder. Vielen vielen Dank.

Oase der Ruhe

Kleines, typisches, sehr ansprechendes und gut ausgestattetes Haus auf dem Land. Nur wenige, sehr nette Nachbarn. Angenehm großes Grundstück, das fast vollständig geschlossen ist, was das Reisen mit unserem kleinen Hund sehr entspannt gemacht hat. Absolut ruhige Lage. Auto zwingend erforderlich, um nach Lalinde (erster größerer Ort mit Bäcker und Supermarkt) zu fahren, benötigt man knapp 15 Minuten. Kontakt mit Besitzer und Betreuer vor Ort absolut unkompliziert und immer sehr schnell und sehr gut. Einziges Manko, das für unsere Verhältnisse sehr schmale und kurze Doppelbett im Schlafzimmer. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und werden wiederkommen.

Séjour formidable !

Nous avons passé une super semaine en famille dans la maison du soleil. L'environnement est magnifique, il y a beaucoup de choses à visiter (chateaux villages, caves, grottes, zoos, marchés...). La maison en elle même est parfaite pour une famille de 4, fraîche en été avec un beau jardin et surtout une grande piscine bienvenue lorsqu'il fait un peu chaud. Nous n'avons pas vu les propriétaires mais les gérants sont très sympas, à l'écoute, disponible et donnent de bons conseils. Nous recommandons fortement et essaierons d'y retourner dès que possible !

QUE DU BONHEUR
