Romantic packages and added value special items make this the premier choice for a romantic getaway. Optional WiFi in cabin! Close to all the State Parks, world class The Chalets A-Frames are iconic, romantic, cozy and comfortable with two queen bed sleeping areas and one full bath. Arranged along the ridge of a hill, each A-Frames has a private deck with hot tub, grill and view into mature woods. Their vaulted open-concept living areas include a kitchenette, dining for four, fire place, flat-screen tv, exposed beams and lots of light. And every one is pet-friendly*! The A-Frames are at the Chalets' Old Man's Cave location of 140 acres, 31 cabins, pool, firepits, SaunaPods, electric vehicle charging stations, office and neighboring General Store. It sits two miles from the epicenter of the region: Hocking Hills State Park visitors center.

Lovely cabin

Perfect size for a family of four or smaller. The bathroom and kitchen were clean and well supplied. The hot tub did not get as hot as we would have liked but the view was nice. The grill being propane and not charcoal should have been on the add. Still, was a very lovely few days.

We went for a Hocking Hills weekend. This cabin was good, great location, clean. However, furniture was old and very used. I brought blankets and felt more comfortable with them on the couch. Also brought our own sheets & comforter. Bed was comfortable. I would stay again, just be prepared

Great Hocking Hills getaway

Got notified when our cabin was ready (except we were already in the forest with no reception), but we're able to get in a little early. The A-frame was great! Loved being able to sit on the back deck and listen to the birds, and enjoyed the hot tub! Liked having a little fridge (with a freezer with ice cubes and large to put a few things in). Convenient to most hiking areas. Would stay again.

Cozy A Frame

This was our second time staying at the Chalets A frame cabins. First for our honeymoon and this time for our anniversary. We love the coziness of this cabin. Having the hot tub on the covered back deck was very private and we enjoyed hearing a thunder storm roll in. There was about 3-4 hours before we could use the hot tub after getting into our cabin because it wasn’t ready. That was a bummer! Overall, we love this place. It has almost everything you need and is close to most attractions.

Our stay was wonderful!!! Cabin #2 was PERFECT! We are our door people so We loved absolutely everything about it ! We wanted small and quiet and that’s exactly what we got ! The chalets is a perfect location while also being tucked away you are also In close driving distance to everything you’ll need. I will say I over packed on food and it’s only a mini fridge lol so bring an extra cooler for drinks or whatever. But all around 10/10 ! We will be back and agreed to make this a tradition!

Nature inside, and out

We saw a mouse on the kitchen sink the first night there. Called maintenance to lay traps but they didn’t come until the second time we called. When we initially called to report the mouse they didn’t seem too bothered. Maintenance was supposed to come every other day to get trash but no one ever came by to empty the trash (we stayed three nights). Wifi seemed to go in and out frequently and only one person could be on it at a time. Very cute inside and nice location too, but be prepared to see a lot of large bugs (and maybe mice too!).

Wonderful place to stay while touring Hocking Hills. Much more modern and clean than I anticipated. Kitchen had everything we needed. Communication was excellent. Seriously, nothing to complain about at all!
