Quiet, its windows open on to a large indoor courtyard, isolated from the street with a carriage entrance.

Excellent base in Bordeaux

A well presented apartment in an historic building in the heart of the old town. Very close to restuarants, bars, and most sights and very quiet. Alain is a charming and helpful host providing a lot of information on things to see and do.

Close to all attractions of this wonderful city, This quiet and comfortable apartment was a perfect place to stay. Alain was thorough in giving us an introduction to the area and kindly offered help should we need it. Will definitely stay here again.

FANTASTIC LOCATION - SUPERB APARTMENT

Had a wonderful stay in Bordeaux, the apartment is located in a busy area, meaning you have shops, restaurants, bars on your doorstep, however, it is also so lovely and quiet :) Apartment is very clean and modern and has all amenities needed. Alain has been a superb host, so helpful and informative without being instrusive. Would definitely recommend and would definitely stay again :)))

Excellent location - right in centre of old town.

Ideal as a base. Clean, comfortable bed, nice bathroom. There is only one shuttered window in the living/kitchen which we did not feel comfortable leaving open at night and it did feel quite warm during the night. It is quite a dark flat due to this so would not want to sit in for any length of time. We were out all day then all evening so for us it was fine Alain was very pleasant and helpful. Our other disappointment was we had to pay a 300 Euro security deposit which was not mentioned anywhere before we went

So comfortable. It had all the amenities we required. Would recommend it to anyone.

Great first impression which remained throughout our stay. The owner was there to meet us and gave us a thorough tour of the apartment with information about everything we needed to know. Maps and information were provided which were very helpful. Comfortable bed and settee. The apartment had everything we required. The apartment is so central, surrounded by lots of restaurants and shops. The atmosphere in the area had a great “buzz” to it. Put us in a holiday mood. Small supermarkets and post office within 5 minutes walking area. Fresh croissants and bread from baker round the corner. Apartment is up a very quiet street, no traffic, no noisy neighbours. Even before we arrived the owner was great emailing us information especially directions to apartment. He was great. Warning if you’re arriving by train or using the tram. Machines do not take uk credit cards. Don’t know about debit cards. You will need euro coins. €1.60 a ticket. A ticket for 10 journeys for 1 person can be obtained for €12.90. Machines at all stops but not at the one nearest the apartment Bourse. Wonderful stay, we love Bordeaux. St Emilion worth a half day visit cheap tickets by train about 15 euros per person. Very cobbly and hilly, not for people with walking difficulties. We will be back for further exploration to stay in this apartment. Thanks for a great stay. Pat & Alan

Beautiful and well equipped appartment in an ideal location. Friendly, helpful owner

Mr Prioll was there to meet us and explain the appartment which was immaculately clean, practical and stylish. It was well equipped and we really appreciated the extra comforts of tea and coffee, loo rolls and soap. Would definitely visit again and recommend.

Clean, compact and ideal for a city break

A beautifully presented, clean and well equipped apartment located in the centre of Bordeaux city. It is an ideal base for exploring the city. The owner was extremely helpful and welcoming. I would highly recommend this apartment.

Excellent location, lovely apartment, highly recommended

Really enjoyed our 3 nights here. The location is perfect for exploring the sites, shopping and restaurants. Lovely apartment with everything you need and Alain our host could not have been more helpful and even picked us up from the airport! Thoroughly enjoyed our short holiday here and would definitely recommend a visit.

Location, location, location!!

If you are looking for a very clean, well equipped apartment in a great location in this wonderful city then this is the one for you. All mod cons and everything works!! Alain was a great host, he always replied to messages very quickly, was flexible with arrival times etc and he also gave us loads of good recommendations. If you get fed up with French food, give the Italian restaurant just around the corner a try and the pizzas are to die for.

Excellent location, great facilities and very clean.

We spent a very enjoyable 4 nights in Bordeaux courtesy of Alain and Marie in June 2016 . The apartment is perfectly located on a side street just away from bustling main streets replete with shops, bars and restaurants in the beautiful and ancient centre of Bordeaux. Just a short walk away are the main tourist attractions - Pont de Pierre, the cathedral and the main squares and the apartment is very accessible close to the tram stop at Place de la Bourse (on the line from St Jean train station). It is on the ground floor but is cloistered within a courtyard so feels very safe and removed from the hustle of the city. Despite there being thousands of rowdy football fans in Bordeaux for the european football championships we were not disturbed behind the property gates and enjoyed the relative sanctuary of the apartment. The apartment is clean, attractive and well furnished with a good sized shower room/toilet and a well equipped kitchen. There is wifi internet which is of decent speed. We were met by Alain on arrival and departure who furnished us with really useful information on Bordeaux and the surrounding area. He was very pleasant and accommodating. The neighbours similarly were very considerate and polite. I heartily recommend this property for its location, facilities, the service from the owners and also the reasonable rental cost. We will certainly be returning to Bordeaux in the future and would not hesitate to stay here again. Thanks again Alain and Marie.

A delightful little flat in the heart of old Bordeaux

Situated on the ground floor of a 17th century building, the flat is very handy for public transport, restaurants and local shops. It is clean, well equipped and the beds are very comfortable. M. Priol is very welcoming and anxious that everything is as it should be and that your stay will be a happy and comfortable one. He also supplies a list of recommended restaurants and directions to nearby shops. The local bakery is just a minute away and, opening at 8:00, means fresh bread can be enjoyed at breakfast. We enjoyed meals in Gem, l'Embarcadère and le Saint Georges - just a short walk from the flat. Bordeaux is a beautiful city, with much to see. There are aslo nearby excursions. We took the train to Arcachon, which is alovely seaside town. From there we caught a local bus to the highest dune in Europe. It was an easy day trip. Our stay in Bordeaux was most enjoyable and we can highly recommend this flat.

Wonderful central Apartment

This appartment is in a very central area in the beautiful old town, close to wonderful resturants and shops, and with a tram stop only minutes away The appartment is beautifully presented with top quality facilities and attention to detail. Fabulous apartment

We had a wonderful week in this apartment in July. Beautifully renovated in a fantastic location right in the centre of the old town. Easy parking less than 5 minutes away for 65 Euros for the week. The owner, Alain was so helpful, providing us with restaurant and sightseeing recommendations. We would thoroughly recommend this apartment and hope to be back in the future.

Great apartment in a great location

Just stayed for four nights. The apartment has everything you need. Very comfortable and although very central, is extremely quiet and peaceful. M.Priol is very accommodating and happy to help (even with my dodgy French!) Can't wait to go back to Bordeaux and would definitely stay in the same apartment again.

Amazing stay!

From the very moment that I was greeted at the gate by the owner, I knew that I would feel very comfortable in this apartment. I already live in Bordeaux but as a friend was staying with me I needed more room for a couple of days. The owner was kind enough to give me the keys to the apartment a day before check in to prepare my things for when my friend arrived at no extra cost. There are multiple shops and monuments in close proximity. Rue Saint-Catherine is just around the corner for shopping! The apartment was spotless, modern and the facilities were perfect. The TV is HD as well so if you have a laptop you can easily stream programmes online and watch them on the TV via a hdmi cable. I would recommend this place to anyone. I would definitely stay here again. My only regret was during check out, we woke up late and I couldn't say a proper goodbye to the owner, for which I apologise. You will have no problems here. You'll be well looked after and greeted by a friendly host.

Perfect for a city break

This apartment is clean, comfortable and unbelievably quiet for one so central. The owner provided first class service and was very welcoming. I would happily stay here again and recommend it to friends. The apartment is quite small but fully equipped. Set back from the street in a small courtyard, it is within 2 minutes walk of bars, restaurants and shops. A little further takes you to Rue St Catherine, a main shopping street. There are tram stops within about 5-6 minutes walk, serving much of the city. The 7 day ticket at around 11 Euros is excellent value. Restaurant du Loup, on Rue du Loup, provides classic French cuisine and is patronised by locals.

"This is an excellent fla...

"This is an excellent flat in the popular St Pierre area of Bordeaux. It is close to the tram so we were able to use public transport from the airport with no problem and then only a short walk to the front door where we were personally welcomed. It is very central with numerous bars, bistros, brasseries and restaurants, shops and the quays all within 5 mins walk. It is very quiet, private and safe despite this central location. It was absolutely spotless and very well equipped with the owners extremely helpful in person and easily contactable on mobile for advice. It was very comfortable and ideally suited for a couple for 2 weeks. Tele and Wifi excellent. Our only small gripe was that there was no garden, shared or otherwise, despite this being mentioned in the advert but this did not detract in any way from our extremely enjoyable stay in Bordeaux. It is a rather hidden French gem!"

Great location for exploring Bordeaux

The apartment is perfectly situated to explore Bordeaux . It's within easy walking distance of the central part of the city of Bordeaux , close to great shopping and surrounded by no end of wonderful restaurants. Just a short drive away are some of the most beautiful wine regions in France. If you don't have a car, no end of tours are available. The accommodation itself, although small, was modern, spotlessly clean and very well equipped. We would highly recommend this apartment for anyone wanting to spend some time enjoying beautiful Bordeaux.

Super apartment

We had a wonderful stay in this most comfortable, clean and attractive apartment although there was no dvd player available which was our only disappointment. The situation of the apartment is perfect and a great area to wander around with lots of restaurants close by. The owner was very welcoming.
