This adult only property is an ideal place to enjoy Sayulita. Whether you want to hit the beach and surf or spend a relaxing day lounging by the pool, Casa Terramar is your place to stay in Sayulita. Close to everything and yet a world away, nestled at the end of a cobblestone street, just 4 blocks from the beach and charming village of Sayulita.

Casita Tortuga is a stand alone very private casita located just off our pool.
It is a 1 bedroom, 1 bath unit with a fully equipped open air kitchen, private patio and lots of natural light. The bedroom has accordion doors that open completely to the patio and kitchen inviting the outdoors in. It features artesian touches from hand crafted furniture to decorative details. All purchased locally. Enjoy your morning coffee on the patio listening to the parrots chatter and in the evening experience a hammock style sunset from the pool terrace overlooking Monkey Mountain and the village of Sayulita.

About our spaces;
-All of our kitchens come fully equipped with everything you need; including coffee makers, microwaves, toasters, utensils etc. We provide purified drinking and cooking water. Bacteriacida is included as well for washing fresh fruit and vegetables.
-Housekeeping service is provided once per week. Your unit will be cleaned and supplied with fresh towels and linens.
-Newly upgraded high speed secure wireless internet service is available throughout the property.
-Beach towels are provided. Umbrellas, beach chairs, boogie boards and coolers are available for guests to use as well.

The property features a large beautiful pool, one that you can actually swim laps in. The poolside patio area is surrounded with tropical greenery, chaise loungers and umbrellas for comfortable poolside relaxing. Our upper terrace is a fun place to chill and a guest favorite. It’s the perfect spot to slip into the hammock, read a book, practice yoga, enjoy a private little happy hour or perhaps dinner alfresco complete with a mellow ocean breeze.
Lush tropical landscaping makes the property feel like you are in your own private oasis. Most guests spend at least one day during their visit hanging by the pool and enjoying the tranquility of the space.

We had a fantastic time at Casita Tortuga. The unit is private, well equipped and a perfect get away. It is clean, well maintained and has an authentic feeling. The pool area is very nice with everything needed for a pool day-loungers, floaties and umbrellas. Beth is a lovely host, easy to reach and happy to help with any requests. We found the location to be a perfect distance from town, away from the hustle and bustle but within an easy walk. 10/10 recommend a stay here!

Wonderful time in Sayulita

Our stay at casa Terremar was amazing. Loved everything about it. All of the other guests we met were great too. Beth and her friend Peter were great hosts and very helpful. Our little casa Tortuga was perfect. The common areas with pool were great too. Highly recommend this casa.

A very Fantastic Casita!

We were very fortunate to stay at Casa Tortuga, a great vacation getaway spot. This unit was very functional clean great location and an amazing clean pool to keep us chilled. Beth and her staff were amazing , helpful easy going and we recommend this accomodation to a couple looking to add to their Sayulita experience.

Loved the outdoor space!

Loved the outdoor room set up, pool was beautiful, hammock and view! Beth was wonderful - only issue was barking dogs during the night and then chickens that’s pretty normal in our past visits to Mexico! We would highly recommend!

Great Pool

My husband and I had a delightful time staying in Casa Terramar and Beth was the perfect host. The pool was lovely and large enough to actually swim in. I was glad to be warned of the dog and rooster noises; that way we weren’t surprised and accepted it as part of being away from the center of town, which is much louder with music and partying. Thanks, Beth, we hope to return there.

the property was conveniently located, just outside of the noisy city centre of Sayulita. it was clean, comfortable and was fully equipped with everything we needed. The pool was nice and warm and it was very quiet. Beth, our host was easy to reach and made sure we had everything we needed. She even arranged transportation from the airport for us. Highly recommend it, I will stay there again.

Beautiful, quaint, relaxing and personable

We stayed at the Casita for 5 nights in February and it was perfect for what we were looking for. The room is charming and clean, and opens up onto a private patio with full kitchen - this was one of our favourite parts of the place. It's a short walk to the beach and restaurants, but removed from the "busyness" (a term I use loosely in the chilled out beach town of Sayulita) of downtown. The pool and upper deck are a little sanctuary unto themselves and a perfect place for some RnR, or morning yoga and a swim. And of course, one of the best parts about the Casita is Beth, the host, and her dog Ruby. They are lovely and we will be back to visit again soon!

Beautiful but noisy

Overall my stay at the Casita was not too bad. I was looking for a quiet place to relax and the Villa delivered some of that. The pool, my room and the other guests I met were just perfect. Some of the reviews that I had read before booking mentioned 2 loud dogs..by the time I got there the dog population had increased. The local flavor that is mentioned is much more than just flavor. It is noisy beyond belief - the dogs barked 24/7, the rooster crowed all the time, wood cutting...day and night, non stop. It's too bad because the Villa is very beautiful, and I felt extremely safe there travelling on my own. For the daily rate I paid, it would have been nice to have a few more toiletries other than just bar soap. Shampoo, conditioner, etc. The outdoor kitchen in my unit was well equipped and the photos are exactly what to expect. Without the noise level, I would have rated this property at 5 stars.

Very relaxing.

Beth is meticulous about the care of the units, the gardens, the pool which makes it a lovely place to stay. Beth is warm and gracious and her staff are very friendly. And I liked waking up to the roosters. The neighbours were friendly and I appreciated the Mexican setting. Because after all, I was in Mexico!

Serene and beautiful

Beth keeps CasaTerremar beautiful. The rooms and the gardens and the pool are so nicely done. Everything is clean and well maintained. It is lovely everywhere you look which makes for a serene and pleasant stay. Also, the Beth and staff are very friendly which also adds to the visit.

Out of the way

Place was very nicely decorated and clean. Location is a little out of the way but only a few minutes walk from town and beach. It is a leg burner going up the hill if your walking. The place is on a steep hill right over a few of the locals place who have about five dogs that bark all night and unfortunately with no AC in the room you can't really close the windows. Wifi worked fine for first couple of days then stopped working ( I never called anyone to look at it, maybe it would have been reset if I asked). Pool was nice and cool.

Great place, great host

Beth is a great host. Arranged our airport pickup and return, answered all of our questions. Very accommodating, available when you have a need. The casita is terrific. The bed is super comfortable. Plenty of space in the bathroom for two people. The outdoor kitchen/eating area is great, but don't really think of it as a living space, because it's not. If you want to spread out a bit, better to go to the pool deck because the actual space in the casita is pretty small. The pool is great, perfect after a long day at the beach, and the hammock is a great place to chill. Not too far from town, although, as everyone says, the walk up the hill is very steep. It wasn't really a problem, it was nice to be away from the bustle of town, just be prepared, because it's a workout. One "But:" The animal noise during the night. The dogs that belong to the local neighbors were right below our window and they barked a lot through the night, and the other birds and animals were pretty loud too. This probably isn't true of the other apartments in Villa Casa Terramar, because of where Casita Tortuga is situated, so if you're a light sleeper, you should try to stay in the Casa, not the casita. Or bring earplugs.

Awesome casita!

The Tortuga was a perfect little casita for our adventure. We really enjoyed the open air kitchen, and the casita had everything we needed. The pool is terrific. Sayulita is a great little town, and the casita is within walking distance to everything. The road leading up to the casita is steep, but we enjoyed the exercise. Golf carts are available to rent in town, but as it was the end of the rainy season, it would not have been feasible to use, as the road was not passable with a golf cart (but 4 wheel drive can do it). Beth is wonderful! She met us in town when we arrived, and transported us to the casita. After a little tour of the casita, she was very kind to share information about Mexico life, real estate, etc. Beth is a wealth of information and she is available for anything you might need. We really enjoyed our stay...thanks Beth!

Private Paradise!

We stayed in the Casita for a month and a half, it was the perfect space for us two. We definitely used the patio to its full advantage to watch iguanas on the tree tops and enjoying the view of monkey mountain. When we arrived Beth was there to welcome us and everything was clean and exactly like the pictures. Beth is a wonderful hostess and her dog Ruby is always up for some cuddles. The Casita feels very private and as if you're in your own world when you come back from a day at the beach. The casita is in the perfect spot not too far away from town but far enough to enjoy the sounds of crickets instead of cars or music from the fun town! After a month and a half I definitely did not want to leave but I know I will back again to visit soon! I can not recommend this property enough!
