Semi-Oceanfront, Heated Pool and Hot Tub!

POOL SEASON IS FROM APRIL TO THANKSGIVING. POOL HEATER IS TURNED ON ONCE TEMPERATURES ARE CONSISTENTLY 60 DEGREES AND UP.


CJ's Paradise is a semi-oceanfront home with a private heated pool, cabana, hot tub and volleyball court. 8 master bedrooms, so there is plenty of room for everyone to enjoy an awesome OBX vacation. A recreation room on the lower level offers a movie room and foosball table for lots of family fun. The sand volleyball court in the backyard is included in your cottage stay. Beautiful beaches are just a short walk away.

Venture out to many of the local restaurants, shopping and many family activities.

No Smoking. Pet Friendly.

The public beach access is to the south at Small Street offering easy beach access and public parking. It’s an easy 7 min walk or a 30 second drive if you wanted to drop off. You can also rent golf carts to be dropped at the cottage. DTB:2100 feet.

House sleeps 21 in bedrooms + 4 on queen sectional pullouts if helpful.

Beautiful home with responsive owners. The only issue we had was the distance to the beach access. It was a short walk, but we thought it was right across the street. There was plenty of parking when you drive.

Perfect location for beach vacation

This was our third summer at CJ’s Hideaway. The house is in a perfect location for beach and entertainment. It is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. We would highly recommend renting this property based on three years of great vacations!!!

Beautiful home for all the family

It was a perfect beach house for my large family who enjoyed the space and location very much. Although, upon arrival had ants in the kitchen and somthing didn't seem clean, it was a wonderful experience and I'm very thankful to have stayed in this house.

Colin was very helpful throughout the week! There was a slight delay with the cleaning service but he reached out only a few minutes after the check-in time to let me know that we can enter, and was very sincere and apologized for the slight delay. I had a few questions throughout the week and he was very responsive. Our extended family of 19 people had plenty of room for all and the place was fantastic! The best parts were the open floor plan where we could all eat together, along with the pool, hot tub and volleyball court!

Great house close to everything

We had a large group and this place was PERFECT! Every room had its own bathroom. There was plenty of space for everyone. The pool was heated when we went. It was amazing! Would definitely stay here again.

Nice house and location

We liked the house and the location. The reason for the average review is the lack of amenities. We had a large group with many children and needed to cook. We didn't know until we got there that we needed to supply all cleaning products (dish soap, etc), garbage bags, pot holders, kitchen towels, broom, etc. These are things that should be expected in a property like this and at this price.

A great place to be when weather is bad

We had rain every day and some beach red flags, but thanks to the pool and space (and the Olympics) and our family it was great. Kids could swim any time. Kitchen was well stocked with tools.

Amazing house with everything you need!

This house was enormous, beds were comfy, kitchen was spacious with plenty of seating. Multiple decks, sparkling clean pool and hot tub. We were very pleased with this property and the management company. My 15-year-old son said he wants to come back to this same house next year:)

Great for families

Great location, great property. Just as described. Communication with host over a few minor issues was very prompt and any needed solutions were made promptly and easily. We had our extended family of 16 adults and small children there, and it was a great house for that. Would rent it again.

Perfect OBX Family Getaway

Our family traveled from Oklahoma, Texas, Louisiana, and Virginia to meet up at CJ's Paradise in Nags Head. The house and location were perfect for our family. The beach is an easy walk, bike ride, or car ride away. We rode bikes to shop, enjoy the views, and get ice cream. The house itself was well appointed and very clean. The pool, hot tub, and sand volleyball court were excellent amenities for a large family gathering. The owners were communicative and easy to work with. We appreciate you allowing us to gather at your home and hope to be back someday!

Large house in Nags Head

House was great for our purposes; plenty of bedrooms (8 bedrooms; 7 with queen/kings, 1 bunk room). Parking area under and in front of the house was larger than anticipated. Good common space with double fridge/freezer, multiple dining tables, good outdoor space with pool and hot tub. Beach access is a 5-10 minute walk. Overall would recommend for multiple families or couples going to Nags Head!

Great Family Getaway

Our stay at CJs paradise was great! We stayed with 6 families for a multi-generational family vacation with guests aged infant through 65. We found the property comfortable and enjoyable for all! Any issues or questions we had were promptly resolved by the host. We loved that every room had a tv, dresser and its own bathroom, and appreciated that linens were provided. Two sets of washer/dryers were helpful with so many people in one house. The kitchen was very well equipped. The home was clean and modern.

Nags Head 2023

My group had an amazing time at CJs paradise. The house was great and comfortably kept the 14 people in our party. The pool and hot tub are always a nice bonus to any house. Unfortunately the volleyball area was unable to be used as it had broken glass and lots of sand spurs in it. Location was nice but had either a half mile walk one way to public beach access or 1 mile the other direction. Overall wonderful experience and would recommend to large parties. We look forward to our possible stay there again next year.

Awesome family gathering place!

The owner was absolutely fantastic at accommodating our large group and then communicating quickly when glitches occurred with check in (our code wasn't working properly). The property itself is gorgeous, and we had plenty of room for all of us to spread out (9 adult couples and 8 children, including babies). We made good use of all the appliances, and the kitchen was surprisingly well stocked for all the cooking we did (which included a big pot of homemade soup). The pool and hot tub were very clean and well-kept. And it might sound strange, but we really appreciated the third floor deck--completely contained for our very active toddlers! Would 100% consider staying again if we all come back to this location. Thank you so much! ❤

Perfect size for our large family

The home was as advertised, well cared for and appointed. This trip included 18 of us (me and my 4 brothers and our wives and kids, and our parents), and we loved the fact that each couple and the kids had their own master suite and bathroom. There was lots of space to hang in the kitchen/living room and various decks and of course the pool and hot tub (both of which were clean). The only thing that wasn't ideal was being a short walk/drive away from the beach access point, but we knew that going in and made due with a golf cart rental and loading up my truck with beach stuff. Also, the house had pull carts and coolers available for use. Colin (owner) was accessible and responsive the couple of times we needed something and all in all it was a fantastic week. Would recommend if you are in Nagshead with a large group!

great communication

The house was perfect for a large group. Great pool, loved the volleyball court. We ran into the hot tub not heating up one morning, but it was quickly resolved and fixed. The wifi had good coverage for a few meetings people had to drop into. The kitchen was well stocked (I'd suggest bringing an ice cream scoop.). Both kinds of coffee makers pod/pot. 2 1/2 fridges, 2 freezers, 2 dishwashers. A good layout for many hands helping in the kitchen. The deck seating was amazing at dinner when the suns on the opposite side of the house. Only things that could have been better: The rental linen situation suggested through the check in process was confusing and no communication there also the access to the beach was a good 3 minute bike ride away. (we ended up having a driver drop all our chairs and boogie boards off at the access, and then drive back and then we all biked to the access to get to the beach.... unfortunately, no parking and no bike rack at that access either.) The owner was fantastic in quick response to texts and the house was great!
