My wife and I had a great stay in Helene’s garden home. It was cozy and well equipped and a great outdoor oasis a short walk from the metro. She was a kind and available host. It felt quiet outside of the center of the city with easy access, which was perfect as we drove in and could park on the street without problem.

I Booked Helene's Place As It Looked Just What We Needed For Some Relaxation Before Embarking To busy Barcelona. It Was So Much More Than We had Expected , Great Host Stunning Place . A taste of French living.

The property was absolutely wonderful, and seemed very French. From the street, all you see is a ordinary door, open the door, and you step into a beautiful romantic garden. The apartment is small, but entirely adequate, if you want to cook a meal all the utensils you may need are there. For us it was too far from a grocery or cafe to walk to have dinner or breakfast. We didn't have a car, and public transportation is expensive because this is a neighborhood where people don't need public transportation. If we had planned, we could have brought some food to cook, and in the summertime it would have been lovely to have cold cuts and wine out in the garden.. We ended up staying one night, and the other night we had in Marseille at a hotel next to the train station we had to leave from the next morning. That location is also not in a tourist area, but near many cafes, and walkable. I do recommend this VRBO, the host was wonderful.

Un havre de paix à Marseille

Nous avons été enchantés par les lieux, rarement avons-nous vu une location aussi bien équipée et décorée avec goût. Le jardin est magnifique, on a envie de s’y prélasser longtemps après une journée à arpenter Marseille. Accueil impeccable, Mme Larroque est une hôtesse hors pair. Chaudement recommandé!

Émerveillement, calme et sérénités

Comment imaginer qu’une très grande ville comme Marseille puisse receler un tel havre de paix. Qu’elle joie de retrouver tous les soirs cette maison après une journée arasante de visites en sachant à l’avance qu’on pourra se reposer et se détendre dans un cadre enchanteur.

Une semaine formidable au calme en pleine ville

Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable chez Helene. "Notre petite maison" était le lieu parfait pour se rendre chez soi après des journées de randonnées dans les Calanques. Le soleil dans le jardin le matin invite toujours à prendre un petit déjeuner dehors et le soir d'en profiter pour un apéro! On y retournera avec grand plaisir!

un petit coin de paradis...

un petit havre de paix...accompagnée d'une amie... nous avons passé un bon moment loin des bruits et de l'agitation de la ville ...la décoration de l'endroit offre un dépaysement total puisque la propriétaire est artiste.... je vous souhaite d'y séjourner....

Logement atypique et ayant une âme

La description de l’annonce et les photos permettent tout à fait d’appréhender le lieu dans sa réalité et d’en saisir son originalité artistique. Eine Ruheoase

Das schöne Haus ist das Gartenhaus der Vermieterin, die im Hauptgebäude auf dem Grundstück wohnt. Zu den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln/ Supermarkt braucht man zu Fuß etwas Zeit ( ca 15 min zur Metro/ Carrefour). Das Viertel ist wie auf dem Dorf: ruhig und kleine Straßen und sehr sauber. Haus hat alles, was man braucht. Uns hat der Ventilator in der Sommerhitze beim Schlafen geholfen. ( Tipp:Packt aber unbedingt Mückenspray mit ein, sonst seid ihr arg gepiesackt. - 8€ im Carrefour) Der kleine Garten ist ein Traum und die Marseille Meeresbriese rauscht herrlich durch den Bambus.

Petit coin de paradis

Petit havre de paix où l'on se croirait à l'autre bout du monde et où le temps semble suspendu. Le jardin est reposant, il invite à une petite sieste sous la végétation luxuriante, une méditation, de la lecture, en somme à profiter du moment présent. La propriétaire est accueillante et chaleureuse. C'est une vraie artiste passionnée et courageuse, vous pourrez admirer ses œuvres dans son jardin.
