Built on the side of a hill, the 120 year old Trullo Mandorla has been extensively renovated to sympathetically combine the unique features of the original stone building with contemporary design. Wifi available.

The stylish and sophisticated interior ensures your stay is pampered. The beautiful restored stone, exquisite lighting, and luxurious bathrooms create a unique stay in a trullo. The trullo has 3 bedrooms sleeping up to 6, with 2 bathrooms, one of which is en suite. Staying at Trullo Mandorla means enjoying spacious and diverse external areas. This includes an external lounge which makes the most of the fantastic view of the sea and coastal plain and a fully equipped kitchen and dining area. On the olive terrace above the house the kidney shaped pool enjoys panoramic views.

Trullo Mandorla is situated 5 minutes drive from the sea and a few minutes from the nearby town of Fasano. It is in an excellent location for visiting the towns of Ostuni, Alberobello, and Cisternino.

small little paradise

we had a great week with amazing views in this lovely trullo located in an area where every tree carries olives! Fasano (3 minutes by car) is a nice town with great restaurants and nice little shops.

Beautiful trullo, great view, comfortable living

Very nice house in a very good location: - easy to reach (access to the house is only challenging the first time) - great view - outstanding sunrise - great terraces (outdoor kitchen and lounge in front of the house) If anything came up, the service was always available and could help quickly. We really enjoyed our vacation with family and 3 children!

An absolute oasis

Trullo Mandorla is a beautiful place to stay in a beautiful region of Italy. Its tasteful renovation can be seen everywhere from the outdoor kitchen and dining area to the stunning canopied outdoor lounge and separate pool area with views over the vast olive groves towards the sea. It was extremely well equipped and we were in want of nothing throughout our stay. It is well located for sandy beaches and really good restaurants as well as being a great base to explore beautiful towns such as Ostuni, Lecce and Alberobello. Only problem was that one week was just not enough… ;-)

Lovely Trullo

Good location close to Fasano and its charms. Cleanliness could be improved by removing both the mould from the bathrooms and the cobwebs. Second double bed renamed the chastity bed owing to the squeaks and groans. BBQ area also needs a spring clean, but it did get hammered by a bad storm...

Dream House

This was our first trip to Puglia and I was not familiar with the area at all. I picked the house from the VRBO listing based on its proximity to golf, beach, its central location in Puglia, and my desire to stay in a Trullo. The house exceeded our expectations! It’s a magical property with a lovely pool and amazing outdoor spaces where we spent most of our time. The house was clean and comfortable with everything we needed for our stay. We enjoyed driving the narrow country roads thru the miles of olive groves (you will need a car) and exploring Fasano and its many fabulous restaurants. Jo and her staff were fantastic, and always available if we had a question. We so enjoyed our stay we are already planning to go back.

Special Puglia

Great location just outside Fasano for access to all the places you want to visit. Built for being outdoors! Our weather ended up not being ideal so we did not spend as much time enjoying the outdoor amenities the property had to offer. But staying in a trullo is a must try experience. Property did not have clothes dryer which was tough since we had quite windy and rainy weather. All else was excellent.

Trull Home

The home was very clean. The area was a little dirty garbage all over the place. The farmers in the area had fires burning. They were burning their brush and it really stunk the whole home and area. There is no air conditioning, so sleeping at night was very difficult We ran out of water, not realizing they are on a water reserve/tank so I had to call the manager to send a water truck They have the irrigation system going every night for the grass and flowers.

I am pleased that overall you enjoyed your stay at our Trullo. I am so sorry you didn't enjoy the area - Puglia is authentic Italy which means it is more rustic and has more character than other areas of Italy that may have been more sanitised for tourists. We happen to love the fact that you experience 'real' Italy. We have never had any guests, or even ourselves, experience farmers burning fires before so I am sorry you were so unlucky. Our water is supplied by water tanker into our cisterna and I am so sorry you ran out of water although I hope that you were not inconvenienced too much as it was re-filled within 20 minutes of your phone call to our property managers. We do have an irrigation system - it is only on for 6 minutes per night and means guests can enjoy being surrounded by our beautiful garden. Again, I'm sorry Puglia didn't live up to your expectations.

Wonderful Trullo with Fantastic Views

My husband and I took a long holiday to visit my family who live in nearby Alberobello. We wanted a trullo with a private pool, located out of the main part of town, where we could relax so we booked this trullo. Trullo Mandorla exceeded my expectations. The inside is modern and clean, the kitchen (indoor and outdoor) are well equipped with utensils, cookware, and dishware. The main bathroom is large and spacious with the most amazing tile shower/tub I've seen in a holiday home (my husband and I are getting quotes to have our bathroom remodeled to have a similar tile shower/tub). The outdoor seating areas both by the pool (which is located above the main trullo area) and the viewing area (located outside of the front doors) are private and well cared for. The private pool was a blessing due to the abnormally high temperatures during our stay. There were a couple days where we didn't venture from the trullo and were completely comfortable staying in, making food in the outdoor kitchen, and swimming. Contact with the management company and the owner were great! My husband and I enjoyed our stay and would definitely book this trullo again!

Beautiful trullo in a great location

We were wowed the moment we arrived here and used all the lovely outdoor spaces daily – the sofas with the amazing views (perfect for early evening drinks!) and long meals at the outside table, cooked in the outstanding outdoor kitchen. The pool was a great hit with our two kids aged 7 and 9, who were hardly out of it. The gardens are to die for and the hammock provides the ideal spot for reading a good book (when you’re not being dragged in the pool by the kids!). The house itself is simply but beautifully done to a very high standard and it is well-equipped, with comfy beds. There was plenty of room for the four of us and my elderly mother. Jo, the owner, is lovely and provides useful information about the area – and although it’s hard to drag yourself away from the outdoor kitchen (and it’s so easy to get good food at the local markets and the supermarket just 5/10 mins away), it is worth eating out sometimes as the restaurant food is fabulous (especially the fava bean puree and turnip tops). We enjoyed days out in Alberobello, Ostuni and Lecce and although the beaches were extremely crowded in August, the wild ones are beautiful, with crystal clear waters. The house is in easy access of both Bari and Brindisi airports and it's in a great location for runners - we ran to Fasano every morning. We definitely hope to return.

Wunderbare Auszeit

Unser Aufenthalt im Trullo Mandorla war wunderbar und mit einer aussergewöhnlichen Aussicht auf Land und Meer. Das Haus ist geschmackvoll und zweckmässig eingerichtet. In 5 Minuten ist man der Stadt Fasano. Ausgezeichneter Ausgangspunkt für diverse Ausflüge in der Umgebung. Wir kommen wieder :-)

Traumhaftes Haus (Trullo), dass keine Wünsche offen lässt

Wir haben einen traumhaften Familienurlaub (2 Familien mit jeweils einem Kind im Alter von 4 bzw. 5 Jahren) im Trullo Mandorla verbracht. Das Haus ist toll, sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und ruhig gelegen. Toller Ausblick und viele schöne Ecken, wo man lauschige Tage und Abende verbringen kann. Die Lage ist ein super Ausgangspunkt zu Erkundungen vieler schöner Orte in Apulien.

Great holidays at the trullomandorla

We enjoyed our stay very much at the trullo. Except of the weather everything was good. Unfortunately it was rainy 5 of 7 days. However before and after our stay, the weather was brilliant...:-) Once the car gate did not work and the electricity went off 3 times (because of the weather), which can happen of course. However the management was very fast in reply and very kind & helpful. Maybe once we'll come back in summer and definitely consider the trullomandorla again.

Wunderschön renoviertes Trullo mit bestem Ausblick

Wunderschön renoviertes Trullo mit vielen Annehmlichkeiten und top Aussicht aufs Meer. Wir waren 5 Erwachsene und 1 Baby und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Toll war die Lounge Area und der Sitzplatz in der Outdoor Küche wegen der schönen Aussicht. Auch innen genug Platz zum Sitzen für alle, sowohl grosser Esstisch als auch genug Sofamöbel. Küche hat eine tolle grösse und ist super ausgestattet. Schönes grosses Hauptbadezimmer. Sogar Spielzeug für Kinder, Bücher zum Lesen und Poolhandtücher gibt es. Super ist, dass das Haus von einer Firma vor Ort verwalter wird, die ein verlässlicher Ansprechpartner vor Ort ist. Die Betten waren etwas weich. Die Matratzen teilweise alt, könnte man mal tauschen. Die Polstermöbel draussen würden mal eine Reinigung vertragen ;) wobei weisse Outdoorpölster natürlich sehr heikel sind. Wir hätten uns mehr Stauraum für Klamotten gewünscht (Haken an den Wänden in den Zimmern, im Bad und als Garderobe im Hauptraum, Kleiderstange oder Kasten im kleinen Zimmer zb in den Bogen in der Wand,...). Toll wären auch mehrere Schlüssel gewesen, da wir eine größere Gruppe waren. Das letzte Stück der strasse rauf zum Trullo ist sehr steil und eng, man sollte ein geübter Autofahrer sein. Alles in allem ein wunderschönes renoviertes Juwel, dass sich super für einen Urlaub mit Freunden oder Familie eignet. Der Besitzer ist sehr freundlich und antwortet sehr schnell auf alle Fragen. Danke wir waren sehr zufrieden!

Perfekter Aufenthalt

Hat alles gepasst, zwar etwas zu teuer, aber das Anwesen bietet mit sauberem Pool, grosszügige Lounge mit Sicht auf das Meer, Schattenplätze für 2-3 Autos doch einiges. Ein Schlafzimmer mit direkt angrenzendem Bad, ein Schlafzimmer mit Bad ausserhalb des Zimmers und ein sehr kleines, zusätzliches Zimmer. Keine Klimaanlage ! Deshalb feucht und warm im Haus. Hatten aber ausserhalb Temperaturen von über 30 Grad ! Alles in allem sehr zufrieden. Wenn der Preis noch etwas runter kommt, kommen wir sicher wieder.

Trullo dans les champs d'oliviers

Nous venons de passer un bien agréable séjour dans les Pouilles dans la maison-trullo de M. et Mme Baldwin. La maison est très bien située, à proximité de Fasano dont le centre ville vaut la visite, et non loin de tous les lieux à voir dans ce secteur des Pouilles (Locorotondo, Alberobello, Polignano al mare, Monopoli...). Les extérieurs de l'habitation sont très jolis : coin repos, piscine en hauteur (ce qui est sécurisant pour les enfants en bas âge), coin repas à l'ombre, etc.. et nous avons pu en profiter grâce a une très belle météo. L'intérieur de la villa est agréable : la cuisine est équipée, les chambres sont bien conçues et le salon/salle à manger est bien spacieux. Les 2 salles de bains intérieures (la 3ème est à l'extérieur près de la piscine) nous ont moins convenu : la baignoire est immense et met un temps fou pour se remplir et la douche n'est pas hermétique (eau projetée sur le sol qu'il faut ensuite évacuer avec un racloir). M. Baldwin est à l'écoute et très disponible. Il a répondu à chaque fois, très rapidement à nos questions. Cependant, alors que nous avions un problème de grève (Ryanair) à l'aéroport et que notre vol a été supprimé à la dernière minute (avant-veille de notre départ initial), il n'a pas voulu modifier la date de notre arrivée. Toutefois, nous convenons que le règlement l'en autorise. Nous avons donc dû trouver un autre vol (beaucoup plus coûteux) la veille de notre départ. Dommage... Nous gardons néanmoins un bon souvenir de ces vacances dans les Pouilles.

Immer wieder wunderschön

Wir waren zum dritten Mal (zweimal Ostern und einmal im August) in diesem wunderschönen Haus und werden sicher wiederkommen. Check-in und Kontakt zum Vermieter sind absolut unproblematisch. Der Blick von der Sonnenterrasse aufs Meer, der wunderschön angelegte Garten, die toll ausgestattete Außenküche und nicht zuletzt der Pool sind einfach fantastisch. Die Ausstattung ist absolut vollkommen. In diesem Jahr konnten wir auch den Ofen nutzen und uns gemütlich am Abend im Haus zusammensetzen. Die Lage des Hauses ist für Ausflüge nach Ostuni, Alberobello, Monopoli, Polignano und auch Bari perfekt. Das Meer ist mit dem Auto schnell zu erreichen. Ein rundum gelungener Urlaub in einer wunderschönen Region.

Amazing Trullo

Trullo Mandorla is stunning! Everything was as described on Vrbo and all the photos were accurate. We were a group of friends and we had an amazing stay, the views are amazing, the area is very silent and the house is equipped with everything you need to have a comfortable stay. We left our heart there and will definitely be back.

Incredibly beautiful

Easy booking, Some “hiccups” linked to Covid19 but finally we made it! There are plenty of very good restaurants around and many places for shopping. The location, the setting, the vue are perfect. The house is very well renovated. There are many places outside where you can Go around during the day depending of the sun and the shade. The view from the swimming pool is fantastic and there is plenty of natural shade under the olive trees. There is a total privacy in the pool. We will return without any doubt.
