New Year's Eve at Gordinglund - what a delight
After a very warm and accommodating contact with Soren, the owner of Gordinglund, we set out with 2 families (party of 9) to spend New Year's Eve at this spacious and grand mansion.
With 5 children the large activity room with air hockey, badminton and a superb ping pong table was just the right thing for us. Another major bonus was a fantastic pool table upstairs.
We had so much room, we hardly used one side of the house. Reading in the airy living room, cosy card games in the sofas, lots of candles etc.
We really loved our stay and the highlight was the view when the rockets went up into the sky beneath in the valley. 45 min. of skylights, rockets and New Years celebrations from possibly one of the best view points in the area.
The house was well equipped and the WIFI was working well so we really had no complaints.
Just take care about heating the activity room too extensively as this can run up quite an extra bill as we were able to convince ourselves...:-)
