It is a completely refurbished 1930s building, yet retaining the architectural features of the era. With a small, typical Madeiran garden and a sober and pleasant decoration, it has all the facilities to enjoy a quiet and relaxed time in the historical part of the city.



With a shopping center nearby and at a 10-minute walk from the Sé Cathedral, museums and the harbor, it is in a great location for getting to know the whole city on foot.



There is close access to the motorway and the apartment has private parking making it easy to discover the beautiful Madeira Island mountains.

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in diesem Apartment sehr genossen: die Wohnung liegt nahe der Innenstadt und alles ist in wenigen Minuten zu erreichen - u.a. auch mehrere schöne Restaurants und ein Einkaufszentrum mit Supermarkt.Die Wohnung ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet, die Terrasse lauschig, die Atmosphäre wunderbar. Außerdem toll: AC für alle Räume, bequeme Betten, großer Kühlschrank. Tür mit PIN-Code.Ein paar Dinge haben uns nicht so gut gefallen: das zweite Zimmer und die Küche haben wegen der Souterrain-Lage keine Fenster. Die Küchenausstattung ist ausgedünnt. (Wer richtig kochen will, sollte sich eine Bratpfanne, gute Messer und ein Schneidebrett mitbringen). Auf der Terrasse fühlen sich auch die Mücken wohl. Und die Nachbarn haben zum Teil sehr skurrile Angewohnheiten. Es bleibt also ein wenig Abenteuer auch im gentrifizierten Teil von Funchal.
