Aligaa fishing lodge is located on the remote island of Kurendhoo, Maldives.
our selling point is our close proximity to number of uninhabited islands, sand banks, and rich fishing grounds.
Please note that government of Maldives does not allow wearing bikinis on public areas on any local island .
However Aligaa fishing lodge would arrange our guests on a free excursion trip to near by uninhabited island , where the above restrictions do not apply

Airport transfer information

The ferries from the airport to and from Malé (the capital of Maldives), are right near the airport exit and you will not miss it. Ferry’s run 24/7 ,every 10mins.RF10 for a ticket , that is about $1.

From Male' , you have to take a speed boat to reach us .its a public speed boat ferry .
Speed boat run on every Monday , Thursday and Saturday Only

Departure from Male' at 0800
Departure from Aligaa fishing lodge at 1400
Speed boat ferry charges $33 per person , one way , takes two and half hours .

since the speed boat ferry leave at 0800 in the morning , make your own arrangement to stay in Male, the previous night .
• Please note that there are no ferry services on Sunday , Tuesday , Wednesday and Friday

FOOD

At the guesthouse, breakfast will be provided and included in the price of the guesthouse. We have cooking facilities on each floor of the guest house, if you prefer your own cooking you are more than welcome to use the kitchen.

There are two Café’s nearby, with-in walking distance. local cafe’s are very inexpensive .They are open from early morning until late at night, offers coffee, snacks, light meal, usually a meal would cost 5 USD.

There are also many small shops all around the island, which sells groceries.

We are located right at the harbour , when fishermen docks and sell off some of their catches. You could join the locals, get some fresh fish straight from the ocean, at a relatively cheap price .As mentioned earlier you are more than welcome to use our kitchen facility.
