About this property

Contemporary cottage close to Bristol & Bath

Recently converted to a high standard, 2 Cloverlea Cottages is one of three cottages situated in a small courtyard within the owners grounds. Each cottage sleeps 2 with the facility to accommodate a further two people on a bed settee in the lounge area. There is a modern and light living area with floor to ceiling windows, leather settee and TV. The kitchen area is equipped with electric hob, built in cooker& fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle. A small pull up table makes dining easy.

There is a choice of twin beds or a super king bed in the spacious bedroom. Fitted wardrobes provide plenty of storage. There is a TV & hairdryer, plus all bed linen & towels are supplied.

The cottage has a modern bathroom with walk-in shower making life easier for the less mobile. Fully tiled with a large mirror, over head lighting and heated towel rail.

There is underfloor heating throughout the property and parking for two cars per cottage.

The cottage is available for long term Monday-Friday rentals.

The properties are situated adjacent to the Kendleshire golf course, one of the regions premier golf courses with 27 holes in 260 acres. Also nearby is the Players, Thornbury & Woodlands golf courses.

The Windmill Fisheries offers fishing along with Bitterwell Lake, which is within walking distance.

Bristol is 5 miles away with its historic harbour, famous churches and excellent shopping facilities.

Georgian Bath is only 15 miles with its wonderful architecture and world famous Roman baths and spa.

With easy access to both M4 &M5, it is an ideal base for exploring the beautiful Cotswolds with its idyllic villages, the regency town of Cheltenham and picturesque Castle Combe

Perfect little getaway, even if you're not a golfer!

Second time I've been here and lovely place to base yourself away from the bustle. The cottage itself has some very nice touches - rainforest walk-in shower and under floor heating. Very cosy! 😊

In early August I had some medical treatment done at Southmead Hospital, as I don’t live in Bristol myself and my sister looked for accommodation nearby. I am disabled so we needed somewhere accessible and close by for treatment. These cottages ticked all boxes for us. - 10-15 min drive to hospital. - Disabled access plus wet room. - Parking right outside the door. - Self catering, which was ideal for my diet restrictions. - Affordable. - Cottage was very clean, tidy with everything that we needed. - A very comfortable, quiet place to relax and recover each night. We would very much recommend this stay to everyone and we hope to return again in the future. Many thanks Mel & Nat

The cottage is situated within our large garden. We both play golf and living alongside the 1st fairway of the Kendkeshire Golf club is very convenient. We both enjoy gardening and also skiing with two of our six grandchildren.
