Vacation with family

The property is as it is shown in the listing photos . Our hostess Patricia is a charming and attentive person and was always available for assistance if needed. This apt. Also has garage car park which is within the building lower level. A15 minute walk to the playa is also a plus. We stayed for a 3 month stay without any issues. We hope you enjoy your stays as we’ll as we did . We look forward to our next visit to Gijon as well.

The host is lovely and did all that was needed to make our arrival smooth and problem-free. The route between the parking place and the apartment is not straightforward but stick with it, it is so handy and easy to access once you get used to it. The host does not speak much English; shamefully, we did not learn Spanish, but on moving-in day, she had a young relative with her to translate and Google Translate did the rest.Why we give 4 stars not 5: we were kept awake by street noise, especially from the cafe below and we could hear the neighbours’ TV. If you are not a light sleeper, you will have no problem. I am fairly sure the price went up after we booked (over a year ago), but we were there for the eclipse and it was still a reasonable price. The apartment is in a great location, we loved the walk to and from the beach/old town, so many routes to explore and things to see. The apartment is compact but worked for the 4 of us. We were there a week and ate breakfast in the apartment but never cooked a meal; the kitchen is equipped well enough to have done that. Another comfortable chair in the living room would have been good. We had no problems with the apartment so didn’t need to contact our host during the stay. She contacted us to advise us on local events that we could access, this was appreciated. We loved Gijon! The beach is great, there is lots to see, the people are friendly and the (noisy at night) cafe serves great coffee and has very friendly staff.

El piso limpio. Está equipado con todo lo necesario. El baño recién reformado y moderno. El menaje un poco escaso. Está bien aislado pero en verano al abrir las ventanas es ruidoso. Las camas cómodas. El proceso de reserva fue “peculiar”. Anunciaba un precio en unas fechas determinadas y al contactar con la propiedad para hacer la reserva la contestación fue: “he actualizado tu presupuesto original. Si te sigue interesando esta reserva ya puedes proceder a realizar el pago para confirmarla”Lo cual significó subir el presupuesto anunciado un minuto antes alrededor de 200 más . Hubiera agradecido tener algún detalle de cortesía, una simple botella de agua. En la cocina ni un salero. Por lo demás el apartamento está céntrico y confortable y la estancia ha sido muy agradable.Las fotos corresponden exactamente a lo anunciado.

Buen alojamiento y muy buen trato de los propietarios. Limpieza y equipamiento adecuados. El único pero las camas del la habitación doble algo pequeñas para adultos (ideales para niños).

Hola Emilio, ha sido un placer haberos tenido como huéspedes, y lamento profundamente que las camas de la habitación no hayan sido de vuestro agrado, eran de la medida estándar de 90 cm de ancho por 2 metros de largo, es el tamaño de cama más habitual en España, el más vendido para camas individuales. Séjour trop court

Séjour formidable,un appartement parfait,situation dans GIJON très bonne . Des hôtes charmants avec qui nous aurions souhaité avoir plus d'échanges mais la barrière de la langue nous à trop limités Nous y retournerons ! E Nicolas
