Peaceful location

The house is set in a beautiful location and in a very peaceful village and there are amazing views from the pool. The check in process was fine. We all got by with our limited French and the host's limited English. A suggestion would be for more parasols. There is only one for a very large dining table, and only one for the pool, which really isn't sufficient for a large group. Unfortunately the wifi for some reason does not connect to iphones but the host is aware and will hopefully update this. It is also worth noting, that if you require sheets and a towel, there is an additional cost that we weren't made aware of until we had booked. The cost was 100 euros for five people which seemed quite expensive. We did go and buy more towels as one per person for shower, pool and drying hands was not ideal. Overall we enjoyed our stay and the surrounding area is beautiful.

Séjour très agréable

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans la villa de Mr Roux avec sa superbe piscine et la vue magnifique sur la vallée du vert. La maison est dans un village charmant. Beaucoup de belles choses à visiter. La maison est très propre et superbement équipée au niveau vaisselle et ustensiles de cuisine. Il ne manque rien. Les photos sur le site reflètent totalement la réalité. Le seul bémol est l'absence de climatisation contrairement à ce qui est annoncé sur le site. Mr Roux nous a expliqué qu'une chambre (sur les 4) bénéficiait d'un bloc de clim tombé en panne avant notre arrivée. Cependant des ventilateurs étaient à disposition dans chaque pièce, ce qui fut bien appréciable au vu des températures supérieures à 38 °C durant les 15j de notre séjour.

Etwas in die Jahre gekommen, tolle Lage, wunderbarer Pool

Insgesamt ein gelungener Urlaub, das Check-in war etwas kompliziert, da unser Französisch ebenso limitiert war, wie das Englisch unseres Gastgebers ;-) . Aber die wichtigsten Dinge konnten geklärt werden. Zum Haus: die Küche ist für größere Kochevents zu klein, aber es reicht, um 4 Personen zu bekochen. Geschirr gibt es ausreichend, aber Sektgläser sollten in Frankreich Standard sein. Das Wohnzimmer war urgemütlich, allerdings haben wir die meiste Zeit am großartigen Pool verbracht. Schön wäre es, wenn es mehr als einen Schirm am Pool gäbe, bei 6 Liegen bleiben 4 immer in der Sonne.

Heerlijk rustig, groot zwembad en mooi uitzicht.

Mooi huis, indeling niet heel praktisch maar alles is aanwezig. Vriendelijke eigenaar, spreekt alleen frans. Zwembad en tuin heel mooi en groot.

Très beau séjour !!!

Nous avons passé de très belles vacances en famille. La piscine est très agréable et de belle dimension et la vue est magnifique...le chant des cigales et des petits oiseaux, un grand jardin, le soir barbecue, bref, que du bonheur...La maison est très bien équipée, spacieuse et les jours de forte chaleur nous avons apprécié sa fraîcheur grâce à ses murs en pierre . La région est très belle, mais nous nous sentions si bien dans la propriété que nous n'avons pratiquement pas rayonné. Monsieur Roux est très attentif ,disponible, sympathique et accommodant pour les heures d 'arrivée et départ.

Lovely Property with Fantastic Pool

The house is located in a beautiful village. The pool is wonderful with the most amazing views. There is lots to do in the area. Le Lac Vert is a beautiful lake a short distance away. Great for swimming and pedalos. Shops and kayaking also near by.

A little piece of French heaven

We loved our 10 days in St Medard. Emmanuel was helpful and welcoming and the house was spacious and comfortable. The pool is amazing and the views from it stunning. The area is great to explore with children and close to facilities and supermarkets (you need a car though). We'll be coming back!

Une maison magnifique dans un cadre idyllique, de l'espace, une piscine très bien exposée toute la journée. Des arbres pour pouvoir faire une petite sieste à l'ombre... que demander de plus. Des propriétaires à l'écoute, sympathiques et qui nous ont donné de bonnes adresses même si on n'a pas eu l'occasion de toute faire. Peut-être une petite suggestion ;) : changer le four qui nous a donné du fil à retordre et ajouter quelques mugs car pour 8 personnes, c'était un peu juste ;) Je recommanderai bien évidemment cette superbe maison qui en vaut vraiment la peine.

Vue imprenable

Nous avons passé deux semaines dans cette très belle maison dans le petit village de Saint-Médard. La belle piscine est située à quelques marches en contrebas de la maison et, de là, on a l'impression d'être seul au monde, c'est absolument magnifique. Les cigales sont au rendez-vous dès que le soleil se met à chauffer. Les chaises longues vous invitent à paresser sans complexe. Un parking permet de garer au moins 3 voiture Monsieur et Madame Roux ont réagi très rapidement alors que nous avions rencontré des problèmes de plomberie, ils nous ont apporté des ustensiles de cuisine qui faisaient défaut, merci à eux. Ils nous ont donné des adresses de bonnes caves, des lieux à ne pas manquer... un tout grand merci à eux (et aux parents, tout aussi sympathiques). Nous reviendrions sans hésiter dans ce très très bel endroit que nous recommandons à 100%. Si j'avais des petites suggestions à formuler, les voici : -quelques parasols pour la piscine, -remplacer le combiné réfrigérateur-congélateur actuel par un grand réfrigérateur et un congélateur séparé (à placer peut-être de l'autre côté du bar?) car le frigo est un peu petit pour 8 personnes. -des rideaux anti-mouches aux portes et des moustiquaires aux fenêtres des chambres Bonne continuation et merci pour tout

fantastique !

Un havre de paix dans un écrin de verdure .La maison est très propre et fonctionnelle,la piscine idéalement exposée avec une vue incroyable .Beaucoup d'espace autour ce qui permet de "respirer" dans tous les sens du terme ! Certes il faut prendre la voiture pour faire les courses mais on y est très vite et c'est justement la garantie de la tranquillité .Les caves nombreuses à proximité pour les amateurs, les petits marchés typiques, les balades ....bref de quoi s'occuper ! Un lac en travaux cette année ...qu'à cela ne tienne nous reviendrons l'an prochain !!!! Ajoutez à cela des propriétaires charmants .Brefs des vacances que l'on n'oubliera pas ! Des gens du Nord sous le charme de cette belle région !

Great holiday in a wonderful location!

Due to the fact that we know the beautiful Département Lot very well, we did not hesitate to book Mr. Roux's house located at the edge of the village St. Médard. We spent two weeks with several adults and children in the house during June/July 2015 and everything was very nice. The garden is huge, the surrounding is calm and the view from the terrace and the pool is wonderful. Mr. Roux and his family were very friendly and helped immediately in terms of any question we had! Thank you for this nice holiday! I can just recommend this location! A bientôt, see you soon, bis bald Florian

Excellentes vacances dans cette magnifique région

Séjour très apprécié dans cette propriété conforme à nos attentes. Demeure agréable, bien équipée, spacieuse, sur un grand terrain bien entretenu, idéal pour le foot ou le bad. Piscine bien exposée (soleil du lever au coucher) et sa grande plage cernée de magnifiques massifs de fleurs. Nous recherchions calme et confort sans être éloignés des grands sites à visiter, souhaits réalisés, la propriété est sans vis à-vis sans être isolée. Vacances pleinement agréables dans cette magnifique région ou les locaux sont chaleureux à l'image du propriétaire très sympathique. Un conseil: venez vous ressourcer dans cette excellente location.
