Ask a questionAbout Paula and Darren
I met my Husband Darren 17 years ago whilst working for the Military. We both have medical backgrounds and worked for the Royal Navy. In 2014 we opened our first holiday let in beautiful Regency Cheltenham, UK which proved to be very popular. Due to this we decided to expand and open our holiday let business further afield to an area we love. France. We purchased our current property July 2016 and set out to develop it into a truly beautiful and welcoming home for people to visit, stay and return to year in and year out. We have many plans for developing the business into a relaxation and wildlife retreat where people can stay to enjoy nature, wildlife, relaxation, reading, painting, writing and walking. My hobbies are photography, reading and sport whilst Darren enjoys gardening, design, painting, furniture restoration and music. Together we enjoy walking holidays, shopping and restoring old buildings. I was born in Yorkshire and Darren was born in the Cotswolds. Throughout our careers we have had the opportunity to travel Great Britain and the world and have stayed in many many hotels. Due to this it has given us a greater understanding of what a holiday let should be. I believe we have found a true Gem, ideal for people like minded. Once visited you are destined to return. Go on, give it a go. See you soon Carpe Diem

Why Paula and Darren chose Moncrabeau
We fell in love with Lieu-dit Badie when we were touring the area on holiday. The minute we saw it we instantly fell in love. The property itself was very french and beautiful with the added extra outbuildings and gites to enable us to share its beauty with family, friends and relatives. Its location is perfect for those who love the great outdoors, peace, nature, France, good food and wine. The beauty of the surroundings change from day to day and you never get one day the same.
What makes this Cottage unique
We have a fabulous 3 acre lake which is available for use at any time. If you like to swim, fish, relax or just sit and watch nature this is idyllic. The Sunrises and Sunsets are also breathtaking due to being positioned on an elevated position.
