Farm Stay

Linda, the owner, was very helpful, both before and after we arrived. Great to know that Zaltbommel train station was just 2 km away from the farm. The house suited our group of 5 adults - spacious bedrooms and lovely bathrooms, though a steep staircase to access 2 of the bedrooms. The house was located in a good spot for our many day trips to explore the country.

Gorgeous gem in farmland Rossum, Netherlands

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with hospitality and warmth! Our guest house was charming, fully equipped with everything we needed. The family owned a working farm and restaurant and they had an "honor system" of selecting fresh eggs, butter, bread, vegetables for you to use. Every morning a basket was delivered to our house with jams, peanut butter, chocolate sprinkles and anything else that looked yummy. The house was perfect for our family and centrally located to everywhere we wanted to go. We highly recommend this VRBO and would love to be able to return at some point in the future. You will love your visit there. What a gem!

Our stay on Farm Zonneveld was excellent. It was very peaceful, very comfortable and clean. It is very well located to visit some great areas of the Netherlands. Zaltbommel train station is very easy to get to. Parking is also free. I suggest downloading the NS.nl app for tickets and journey planning.Farm Zonneveld had everything we needed for a great stay. We were able to prepare lovely meals, relax in a very comfortable living room or sit in a really nice garden. Sleeping and bathroom facilities were also excellent.Thank you for a superb holiday!

Perfekt für drei Paare

Sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Für eine Gruppe mit drei Paaren sehr gut aufgeteiltes Haus. Alle Schlafzimmer haben ein eigenes Bad mit Dusche, großes Wohn-Esszimmer. Schöner Garten, Ruhige Lage und perfekter Ausgangspunkt für herrliche Radtouren an Waal und Maas, sowie einen empfehlenswerten Besuch von Den Bosch. Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt und den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. In der Küche haben wir ein paar Utensilien vermisst, die Sauberkeit hat noch Luft nach oben.

A good spot to stay for day trips to Amsterdam, Holland, Delft, Kinderdijk...

This is a fairly large house that can sleep a lot of people with 3 full baths and a toilet! The kitchen has adequate plates and the like as well as some basic things such as cottee and tea. Also, we got some fresh eggs from their chickens! Most of the places we wanted to visit were an hour or less drive, which fit us perfectly. The beds were comfortable and we loved sitting outside watching the sunset or eating at the picnic table. Linda was very accommodating and was kind enough to give me a tour of their farm. This ipla e is handicapped accessible, which was so nice for us. Please note that there is no clothes dryer. We have encountered none during our times at other places whilst in Belgium and Germany either. Hang them outside and eventually they will dry. Don’t hesitate to book this place if you have children, there were outdoor toys and a volleyball net. We would definitely stay here again!

Netjes, goed verzorgd en gezellig

We hebben een fijne tijd gehad met 9 vriendinnen in deze mooie woning. Het huis is prachtig, schoon en gezellig ingericht. De communicatie met de eigenaar was erg fijn. Zeer zeker een aanrader!

Stunning place to stay!

This house is gorgeous. The views are simply beautiful from every window. The interior is decorated to an exceptionally high standard too. The De Groot family are such lovely people and we were met by Kim their daughter who showed us around the property. We were invited by the family to look around their farm and we watched a 2 day old calf being fed. The cows are beautiful and lovingly cared for as are the sheep, horses and chickens. We must also mention Flip the family dog who loves to be licked by the cows. The fresh eggs were so tasty and much appreciated. We would highly recommend this property as the location was great too. Our sons loved the football net in the garden and the beds were so comfortable. Thank you to the De Groot family for a wonderful stay.
