So lovely, peaceful and relaxing...
We had such a good time that weekend. My husband and I loved the rooms, so cozy, clean and inviting! There were so many laid back activities to do in the town and the surrounding areas. We will definitely be returning!

Sweet, Relaxing, Clean + Comfy!
We loved our stay here. The hosts were sweet and friendly and we had everything we needed. The space is huge! It's bigger than our apartment in Brooklyn so it really felt like we were in a cabin in the country. There's not great cell reception out here (which we appreciated), but the house has wifi if you need to check emails, etc. Oh yes! And the steam shower is AMAZING! So relaxing!! Great hiking, views, and cute towns nearby. Easy driving out to Rhinebeck and Red Hook for restaurants, grocery stores, etc. We didn't have time to rent bikes during our stay but I would definitely try that next time. Thanks Molly!

Clean. Cozy. Great for studying.
Only stayed one night. Molly and her husband were friendly and helpful. The apartment is clean, nicely decorated and quiet. We enjoyed the art work and the many books on painting and sculpture. A small stool for the steam shower might be nice, but for the price this place was perfect.

great little retreat
What a great little spot to relax and hide out for the weekend! The home is very private, clean, inviting and does the trick. The hosts were very kind and welcoming....we lost power the first night from a storm and when we pulled up from dinner they greeted us with flash lights and supplied us with candles, head lamps and flashlights. My husband and I stayed here for the weekend with our son and had plenty of space to kick back and relax. It's a very bright space with lots of natural light and a piano as a focal point. This area of NY is quite nice with some great little places to explore. We highly recomend this charming getaway and hope to return soon!

Perfect Place!
My husband and I just stayed here and the place was fantastic. Very comfortable, beautifully decorated, lots of nice amenities like cereal and fresh milk with coffee. There's a lot of room to spread out and Molly was a great host, very kind and super responsive. Thanks for a great stay!

About the host

Host profile image
Originally from the midwest, in the early 2000s we fell into a life in the countryside in a area we couldn't imagine being more beautiful. We are an active family, cycling, hiking & ping pong :) and stay engaged with our community. We've enjoyed hosting from the start, getting to the know the best side of folks from all walks of life.

Why they chose this property

We did not know how beautiful the Hudson River Valley is when we arrived almost 20 years ago. The recreational opportunities are abundant and while surrounding by dramatic, bucolic landscapes, we are 10-25 minutes from happening, quaint towns in all directions.

What makes this property unique

Our property and work done on it has been largely our own efforts. We are long-time middle class residents, not recent transplants hiring designers, architects and builders from elsewhere to turn a second home into a hotel. We live here and our rentals are part of our own property. Zoned as a b&b, our business allows us to live here and give back to our community.
