All accomodations were excellent and the setting was picture perfect. It is such a lovely place. Our only suggestion for improvement and not the proprietors fault is that it can be a bit difficult to find if you arrive at night.

Great place

Really lovely place to stay for the week while all the family were up fishing. House had everything we needed and really nicely furnished. Views were gorgeous. Looking forward to next year already!

Fantastic base to relax and explore Moray

Our experience of Lilyfield and our stay in Moray was superb. We were fortunate to have been blessed with sunshine all week and the location, privacy, fantastic scenery, modern design and open layout of the property really helped to make a most enjoyable stay.

Lovely, spacious house, amazing location

A very modern and lovely located house, surrounded by beautiful nature. We will definitely come back! The owner sells also very high quality beef from their farm, highly recommended to try!

Terrific property. In the middle of the Highlands but feels so remote and peaceful. The house was perfect—clean, modern, all the conveniences (except a clothes dryer), fully-stocked kitchen and well laid-out for a family with all bedrooms in separate area. Three of the bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms. Large grand room in the middle of the house with kitchen at one end.Claire, the host, could not have been kinder and was very responsive. They also have a farm shop just a short walk down the road where you can get various cuts of meat all from animals raised on her farm.I would stay again in a heart-beat!

awesome vacation spot

the location is beautiful, right in the middle of the scotch valley, Claire is a wonderful host. I highly recommend the steaks and lamb chops from the animals raised on the farm. We will definitely return to this property. Thanks again for everything Claire Best regards Costin & co

Cottage in the Highlands

Lilyfield was amazing. Everything you needed for a relaxing stay. Views from the cottage are breath taking. Enjoyed sitting outside in the fresh air hearing the sheep in the fields. Claire was a most gracious host and assured we had everything we needed. Highly recommend staying if you are in the area.

Christmas at Lilyfield

Lilyfield is a beautiful detached property in the perfect rural spot with great views of the surrounding countryside. The house was a joy to spend time in and the spacious accommodation provided the perfect retreat for our family Christmas get together. Thank you Claire - you are a fabulous host.

Fab house

Property was great.Everything was clean and inviting. Comfy beds. Everything available in kitchen. We loved the location, good walks in the area. Flies were a bit of a problem but probable due to the surrounding area, nothing to do with the property. Would not put us off staying again.

An oasis of calm and whisky

Had a great time with three other retired gents. One of whom confessed half way through to not liking the amber nectar! Second time for me in Lilyfield. Still as good as ever.

Myself, my husband and 3 children (20, 18 & 16yrs) just spent the most amazing 2 weeks at this beautiful holiday home (Aug 2025). It was spotlessly clean when we arrived, it is beautifully decorated, is extremely quiet, has stunning views and is well equipped with everything you need in the kitchen for self catering. It is a 7min drive to the closest village of Aberlour, where there is a well stocked co-op, a small hotel and a couple of bars and shops. It is a 25min drive to bigger supermarkets in Elgin. This area is perfect for exploring the beautiful Scottish countryside, with loads of great walk,s hikes, castles and train journeys to explore. I would highly recommend this property for a great relaxing vacation.

Great Christmas Week!

This house is really fantastic and well equipped with all things you need for a comfortable time. It´s fun to cook in the big open kitchen, to look out of the big windows into the great Scottish landscape with hills and sheep or just to relax at the wood-fired oven. Especially if there is snow as we had in the Christmas week 2017. All rooms are decorated very stylishly. Three of the bedrooms have their own bathrooms which is very pleasent. There are only few houses around. If you have a question you can always call Claire, who is living in the farm house some hundred meters away. She is very kind and helpful! We all would have liked to stay longer and will come back if possible! Families from Germany & Manchester

Eine moderne Unterkunft mit viel Annehmlichkeiten. Man fühlt sich schnell wie zuhause. Die Lage ist rund 30 Minuten Fußweg vom Ort selbst entfernt, was vor und Nachteile hat. Wenn man darauf eingestellt ist, sollte es kein Problem sein. Der Farmshop ganz in der Nähe ist

We had such a wonderful time on the farm, the house is beautiful and the whole family loved the gorgeous views, peacefulness and tranquility! Beautiful area to explore tooThe house was spotless and had everything we needed in the kitchen. Bedrooms and bathrooms also gorgeous with wonderful views My top tip to others would be have staggered showers as we did run out of water at one morning but there were 8 of us and it only took a short time (20 mins) before everything was ok again with full instructions and easy steps to follow to fix it. My oldest daughter particularly loved seeing the baby lambs! Thanks for letting her have a cuddle of one! We will definitely be back! Best wishes Lynne

Aberlour stay

Property was in a nice location, but had a few faults, not any known signal, then for one of the 3 days we stayed there was no WiFi either from 11.30 in the morning until the next morning which was the day that we left which didn’t help out of if our guests with his work that we had to get done for the following morning, we got told it was going to get sorted asap and it will be back up and running when possible, but that didn’t seem to happen at all boiler/hot water at times was a hit and miss, lack of toilet roll was another, and some of the plates not totally clean when we turned up, overall was a nice place but but utterly disappointed at what went wrong whilst we where there
