Wonderful place to stay

We had a lovely 4 nights' stay in the barn of finca el Manzil. Very comfortable house, good kitchen and bathroom!

Hosts welcomed me on arrival, gave me some pointers on dealing with the August heat as well as things to see and do in the area.

Great getaway location

Very well equipped and spacious. In a very quiet location (apart from bird song!) Nice countryside for walks and birds. Not too far to drive to Mérida, Cáceres or Trujillo. Very friendly and helpful hosts. The bathroom is on the ground floor and the lower part of the stairs to and from the bedroom don't have a hand rail which might not suit everyone, particularly in the night.

Kuschelige Finca in herrlich ruhiger Gegend

Entspannung pur in herrlich ruhiger Gegend! Es gibt nur einen Kritikpunkt der uns wirklich störte: Das Bett ist 1,40 m breit - das war für uns sehr gewöhnungsbedürftig!

Happy the client had a peaceful stay. The bed is a normal doulbe bed in Spain. There is also a sofa bed in the bedroom.

Overprijsd

De "barn" stond op een mooie locatie en daar was het meeste ook mee gezegd.Het zwembad was niet prive maar gedeeld met de finca. Dit werd niet gemeld op de website van vrbo!! Het was er niet erg schoon. Het is voorheen ongetwijfeld erg mooi geweest maar nu wel wat verlopen. Er was een map met een waslijst een regels waar je aan moest voldoen!! Het was overprijsd.

Una experiencia inmejorable

Una casa fantástica en medio del campo, muy tranquila y acogedora, Ideal para ir con tu perro suelto. La casa es amplia para dos personas y con todo lo necesario para pasar unos días inolvidables. La atención de la propietaria Pippa es ideal. Lo recomiendo sin ninguna duda.

Super sejour pour decouvrir l Estramadure

Superbe hebergement tres fonctionnel amenage et decore avec braucoup de gout la terrasse la piscine tout est parfait. Un tres bon accueil et une region tres agreable avec le village de Montanchez tout pres typique et tranquille. Nous reviendrons au printemps pour faire de la marche.

Wir wohnten im August 2019 3 Wochen in der Scheune. Sehr liebevoll umgebautes und eingerichtetes Objekt in wunderschöner, ruhiger Umgebung. Idealer Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen, ebenso für Ausflüge in die schönsten Städte der Extremadura. Pippa und Manfred sind sehr freundliche und umsichtige Gastgeber. Herzlichen Dank für die nette Aufnahme in der Scheune.

We absolutely loved the barn!

The barn is really beautifully designed for two with masses of airy space inside and a lovely covered porch where we spent a lot of time watching the birds in the meadow and in the copse of old holm oaks. Really comfortable and stylish with good quality furnishings and design features, two amazing old harrows hanging on the wall, very impressive. Besides lounging around the finca we explored the super scenery and visited all the historical towns within 30 minutes drive. Had some memorable food and wine and met some super friendly people. We have booked already for next spring.

Lugar increíble, tranquilidad total, no hay TV ni wifi pero que mas da, lugares cercanos turjillo merida caceres,......., la pisicna la pudimos disfrutar toda la estancia nsotros solo lo que es un lujo.Resumiendo muy aconsejable.
