A perfect house for a family and friends weekend to celebrate a 60th birthday. Plenty of spaces to gather together, super garden that the kids loved to burn off some energy. Excellent kitchen with everything you need ( and things you didn’t realise you need). A perfect dining room for our grazing buffet. Perfectly clean. The hosts were amazing and very accommodating of our requests. We all felt very comfortable living in this house! Excellent location for the beach and a stroll into town.

Great stay in a home my grandfather had built for his family in 1902. Wonderful family home with lovely garden and sea views. Spacious and perfect a large gathering. The photos do not do the house justice.

I have lived in this beautiful home since 1985,and it was with great delight that we learnt of its history since 1902 from the granddaughter of the first owner of the property. Needless to say they faultless in looking after the property during their stay.

Great house for our golf trip

Great house. Plenty of room for 7 guys on a golf trip. Beautiful backyard. Plenty of the everyday necessities like glasses and such. Would have been nice to know that the room with the two twin beds was extremely small, but every other bedroom was huge. We made it work. Would definitely stay again.

Weekend in Troon

We had a lovely few days in Mike and Dow's home in Troon. The location was perfect for us, with easy access to the beach across the road. The garden was fantastic, and perfect shelter when the wind picked up a bit! Thanks for having us!

Plenty of room

It is a beautiful house and the garden is stunning. Some of the rooms could do with updating and some painting needs to be done but overall it was lovely. The only downside was the driveway is shared with the owner, we managed to squeeze 3 cars on the drive but watch out for bin day as you have to re-shuffle cars. All in all it's a lovely place to stay.
