Lovely property with a great layout and fantastic outdoor space, though the weather wasn't kind enough for us to use it. 3 couples were very comfortable with ample living space and the 3 ensuite bedrooms were ideal. There were however a few things that let it down. The blind on the dining room window was missing and most of the curtains had missing hooks. There were no placemats and the oven was not as clean as you would expect, and a quick 1 page "how to" for the oven and hob and coffee machine would have been great. Also, not sure if this was a one off but the starter pack for the log burner consisted of 1 log and some kindling - just as well we brought loads! One of the 6 mugs had a handle that had previously been glued on, but came of when washing and thankfully not when having a hot drink! All in all a wee bit tired and a few tweaks could make this exceptional as things like the large additional fridge in the utility are a great touch.
We are a family of 6 and rented the house for a week. The house is beautiful and we had a very comfortable stay. If I could suggest any improvements it would be to ask for softer pillows, a full size dishwasher and family fridge freezer. I found the shower in the master bedroom a little stiff to turn on and off and all the showers could do with a shelf, but that’s nitpicking. A lovely home with wonderful views in the beautiful Aberdeenshire countryside. We would definitely come back.
