It is only 3 minutes walking distance away from a sandy beach which is unfolded in an extent of many kilometers and in which the visitor enjoys moments of relaxation in isolated beaches, moments of adventure with water sports in the well-organized beaches or moments of frantic amusement in innumerable beach bars. The village of Platanias, which in combination with its preferential place in the prefecture and the splendid beaches, is classified as one of the most touristic parts of Greece and you can find all services needed. We felt that we had chosen the absolutely best place in Plantanias. Best location, lovely house and pool and the greatest hosts who were so helpful and went out of their way for us. Even though we stayed there for a month it was not long enough. So close to so many great restaurants and the beach and shops/ you could walk anywhere. We would highly recommend it to anyone looking for the most wonderful place to stay. Thank you to Agis and Yioula for a vacation we will always remember.

An absolute gem!

We had such a good time staying at Villa Melody. The villa was beautiful, the beds so comfy and all we needed was provided. The pool was a real highlight and we spent many hours in it swimming and playing volleyball. The hosts are so friendly and they dealt swiftly with any issues we encountered. The villa had an excellent location off the main Platanias strip and 3 minutes to the beach. All in all we had a wonderful time and would recommend this villa to anyone.

It is absolutely wonderful waking up every morning by the sound of the sea and the black birds. That's why my husband and I, decided to leave Athens and build our home and our two villas here in Platanias. And it is just amazing being able to live in such a lovely place that so many people from all over the world appreciate and decide to come and live here as well. We love living in Platanias as the village is very close to the beach and makes us feel that we are on permanent vacation! And we truly are! And if we some times forget, thank God we have our guests to remind us just how lucky we are!

Why they chose this property

Actually we did not buy the land, it already belonged to my husband and we decided to build the two villas and finished them in 2008.
The villas are in the middle of everything so that makes it convenient to not rent a car for those who do not want to explore the island and just want to relax. Everything is within foot distance of maximum ten minutes. It is very easy to reach the beach as it is only 3 minutes walk from the villas and also restaurants, cafeterias, mini markets, supermarket, bakery, banks, playgrounds and all other amenities are reached by just a few minutes walk. Although we are in the centre of the village the villas are very quiet as they are away from the street and close to the sea.

What makes this property unique

Our villas combine luxury vacation, with private swimming pool, garden and barbecue each one, they are equipped with all appliances and the most important is that they are close to the beach and all services and amenities so a car is not necessary.
