It was about 25 or so minutes from Waterton, easy drive, beautiful drive. Comfortable cabin with everything you need. So quiet and peaceful with no one around, no noise, all the stars in the sky at night. We loved it.
Absolutely loved this place. It was a great experience for us. Lots of birds , nice view and excellent communication from the property manager. She was available at 3 am to chat. We would definitely like to come back another time
We really enjoyed our stay here. Anyone looking for a remote location this is the place to go.

Peaceful stay
This cabin is perfect for peace and quiet! The pond offers wonderful wildlife viewing. My husband loved all the water foul and a great bird book in the cabin. There are no luxuries here! The bedrooms are quite small and mattresses are questionable.
Views and wildlife spotting are wonderful, we even saw a moose in the water one evening.
Everything you need for a quiet getaway, and close to Waterton.
What a quiet secluded place to get away in such a cute little cabin!!! We loved our stay!

The cabin is super cute. Love the proximity to Waterton. The views from the property are just so relaxing with the pond, the woods, the fields and the mountains off in the distance.
We loved our stay at Trapper’s Cabin! It was very cozy and secluded. Perfect place to unplug & enjoy nature. We will definitely stay again but for longer.
This cabin is perfect if your looking for peace and tranquillity.
It was so nice to be away from the crowds
Absolutely stunning location beautiful sunsets witnessed up on the hill.
I would definitely return and recommend
Great stay for bird/wildlife watchers. Wonderful pond to watch from the deck in the morning and evening light. Cabin was comfortable and had everything we needed. Two thumbs up.
This is a great rustic cabin tucked away from everything but close to Waterton. We only spent a couple nights here as a base for exploring Waterton. I wouldn’t have minded an extra day just to chill on the front porch to read and bird watch.
Had a great at the cabin with some friends for a weekend getaway (5 adults). Best of both worlds being close to Waterton, and having a private and peaceful cabin experience. Would definitely return.
Stayed cool in very hot weather. The loft could sleep at least four with two in each room and a comfy futon as well. Easy to find and Cheryl was a great host. Close to lovely Waterton but Payne Lake was great for fishing and paddle boarding. Would definitely stay again.
This is a delightful property! It was everything it said it would be in the description. The pond by the house is perfect for bird and animal watching. We would definitely stay again!
We stayed here to celebrate our first anniversary, it was a beautiful spot to be able to do so. It’s convenient to access Waterton and was pet friendly. We enjoyed the ability to cook meals and have the property to ourselves. The host checked in with us prior to arrival and was very helpful. We will be back again, five stars from us.
Trapper's cabin is located in a peaceful, isolated place, in the most beautiful part of southern Alberta. We were surrounded by a symphony of song birds and frogs, and enjoyed the occasional visit from the deer neighbours. We love it here!
This property is perfect for a secluded limited technology getaway. It is surrounded by nature which my family enjoyed exploring. Waterton Lakes is a few minutes away.
Make sure to bring supplies with you as shopping is a distance away.
I went with my 3 kids and partner and we all had an amazing time. The cabin was exactly as advertised and with everything we needed to have a nice relaxing stay. The google pin was a little off as to the location, but Cheryl was very quick to drive up to where we were and guide us to the cabin. The area was quiet, peaceful and beautiful. We will definitely come back next year!
Nice little cabin. Was so nice to sit outside and hear the birds. Should have brought binoculars!
Was grateful for the ac when it got hot as the cabin heats up quickly.
Nice to get away from the crowds.
