My partner and I stayed for a months and absolutely loved it. The host was very responsive to any questions why had throughout the trip. They even helped us mailed some items home. Their place was very clean and had everything we needed to stay of awhile. Overall, a great stay and totally recommend! :)
Wir verbrachten zehn Tage in diesem sympathischen Steinhaus mit Liebe fürs Detail und viel Platz zum Nachbarn.
Neben der Küche ist das großzügige Grillhaus auf jeden Fall ein Pluspunkt. Supermärkte und Strände sind gut erreichbar, wir empfehlen dennoch ein kleines Motorrad.

Großartige Zeit im Valley Grove Landhaus!
Alles war genau so, wie im Internet dargestellt - es war für uns ein wahrer Genuss im "Valley Grove Landhaus" unsere Zeit zu verbringen.
Das "Valley Grove Landhaus" ist eines der wenigen noch vorhandenen ursprünglichen, nur auf Skopelos vorhandenen, "Kalyvia". "Kalyvia" waren/sind alte einfache Bauernbehausungen, die weit verstreut im Inselinneren, in einem fruchtbaren Tal am Fuße des Berges Palouki, liegen. Sie wurden früher von Bauern und Erntehelfern in der Nähe von Gemüse- und Getreidefeldern, von Obstbaumplantagen und Olivenhainen angelegt und während der Erntesaison und bei der Feldarbeit als zeitweilige Herberge genutzt.
Das „Valley Grove“ ist strategisch günstig gelegen – vom Hauptort (wunderbar - eine geniale Mischung zwischen Natürlichkeit, Geschäftigkeit und Schönheit) nur ca. 3 km entfernt, vom sehr schönen Strand „Staphylos“ (und „Velanio“-Strand) an der Südküste nur ca. 1 km.
Das großartige, aber an sich kleine, Haus wurde feinfühlig mit wissender Hand und unter ästhetischen Gesichtspunkten aufwendig renoviert und eingerichtet, der obere Schlafraum ist großzügig und luftig, hat Fenster (und Fliegengitter) in alle vier Himmelsrichtungen, die Küche ist mit allem Notwendigen ausgestattet, das Bad neuwertig. Der riesige Garten, die Geräusche und Gerüche der ursprünglichen Landschaft… es ist ein Genuss auf der Terrasse unter dem alten Kirsch- und dem Walnussbaum dem Vergehen der Zeit zuzusehen.
Der Kontakt mit Nina Wolff kam sofort zustande, wir erhielten umgehend und vor Ort alle benötigten Informationen und vieles darüber hinaus - und das alles völlig entspannt und super gut gelaunt.
