This is a great spot. Location is great for running to the coffee shop or down to the water. Beautiful water view from the deck. Air-conditioning only reaches one bedroom and family room. The other bedroom and the bathroom get a little stuffy when it’s warm. Overall, great spot and would recommend!
Beautifully decorated, nicely maintained and well stocked. Just the right size for a couple or a small family. The view was spectacular, the deck was a great place to sip coffee while watching the water. Great neighborhood with access to Point Defiance and the Museum of Glass. Only downside was the difficulty in finding the entry. I thought the house next door was rental and was looking all over for the key box at the wrong house before figuring out that the hard to see house was ours. But once we got in it was a wonderful place to spend a few days.
The Cottage House had everything you needed . Try to slow down enough to enjoy the views from the back porch. Incredible house , lovely decor . Very clean and cozy.
Angela, the host was very accommodating prior and during my visit. The cottage was equipped with everything we required during our stay. I am looking forward to my next visit.
If you like homes with character and charm, this is the place. So many things to mention, take the time to look at the various photos, art, and architecture. The deck is fantastic! Very nice comfortable glider furniture. We were overlooking Puget Sound. Watching boats, ships, and airplanes lining up for landing - it was a relaxing way to pass the time. Water views everywhere! I would love to see the gardens in the warmer weather. The gas fireplace was great for warming up the cool nights. The entire place was so clean. Nice bathroom with bath/shower - the one bathroom is in one of the bedrooms and it wasn't a problem for us. The beds are very comfortable. Everything we needed for meal prep was in the kitchen and lots of items provided for our convenience. There are nice shops and cafes/restaurants down the hill in the small town area, and there are lots of great restaurants along the waterfront -- nice place for a walk also. Easy check in and check out process. We will stay there again when we visit. Thanks!
Lived up to its title! The view was beautiful and the location couldn’t have been more convenient. The kitchen and bathroom were fully stocked with everything we needed, which made our stay so comfortable. The beds were cozy, and the decor felt classic and inviting. The owner was incredibly kind and accommodating, especially when allowing us to extend our stay.Overall, this was one of the best VRBO experiences our family has had. We would absolutely stay here again!
Beautiful location of course. The house was very charming, clean, comfortable and had everything we needed and was honestly most quiet neighborhood I have ever been in.
This is our second time staying at this cute cottage. It is very quiet, clean and comfortable. The water view is excellent from deck and the front has shady garden patio that is perfect for morning coffee. Great communication with owner. Hope to stay there again some time.
This was a cute little place to stay with beautiful views. The only negative thing is that the bathroom is thru one of the bedrooms, this was fine for us as there was only my husband and myself. I would love to stay there again if we are in the area
Enjoy amazing views of the Puget Sound from this home in the Old Town area. Easy parking right in front, fast WiFi and plenty of nearby restaurants, grocery stores, etc made this a perfect location for our stay. The kitchen is well stocked for preparing meals if you wish to stay in. We enjoyed our evenings on the deck enjoying the amazing view in this peaceful neighborhood.
The house was delightfully furnished. The view absolutely amazing. The biggest issue was the one bathroom which must be accessed only through the walking all the way through the master bedroom. And even though the house was large enough and beautiful, I ended up making other arrangements for my adult children.

Catherine was a great guest. The bathroom access through the bedroom is a quirk to this 100 year old cottage.
House was as advertised! It was immaculate, and in a great location, with wonderful views. Host was very responsive and accommodating. We would definitely stay there again.
The view was amazing to the point where we brought meals in to sit out on the back deck and eat. Communication with our host was the best I’ve ever had. Great experience. Ideal for a couple or small family. John B.
