This beautiful three bedroom, three bath condo is located in Chamonix Building A which is walking distance from Canyon Lodge which is a full service ski lodge. The condo is a tri-level end unit that does not have anyone above or below them. The condo is beautifully decorated with new comfy furniture to relax in after a fun filled day in this small mountain community. There is a new flat screen tv in the living room to relax after a busy day. The kitchen has new cabinets, granite countertops, all new appliances and tile flooring. There are tv's in each of the three bedrooms. The condo includes FREE Wi-Fi. There is brand new carpeting throughout the condo. It is a wonderful setting in either summer or winter!

Winter activities beyond skiing and snowboarding are sledding, cross country skiing, and snow mobiles.

Relax in the jacuzzi with a cool drink. Or snuggle up with a good
book and take time for yourself. Yosemite is just a little over one
hour away if you want to be out for a great adventure. Or the ghost town of Bodie is a little over an hour.

Summer is a great time to explore the great outdoors. Five lakes are within just a few miles of the condo for your swimming or fishing enjoyment. In addition there are tennis courts nearby in a beautiful setting surrounded by tall pines.

Mountain biking is a very popular sport in Mammoth. Take the gondola to the top of Mammoth Mountain for breath taking views of the surrounding area. Relax at the music festival in August.

Load and start the dishwasher

Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish

Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys

Close all window coverings.

Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Place all skis/poles/boards in the ski locker located downstairs in the main hallway marked #3. Turn down heaters and close drapes before departure.

Make sure flue is open/screen closed at all times before lighting a fire. Don't chop wood on hearth. Towel exchange call xxx-xxx-xxxx between 3-5 pm.

Keys must be returned to lockbox at departure & scramble lock to avoid a $35 charge from security dep. Maid service provided after departure.

The condo I stayed in was really nice spacious, close to town, clean I just wishing would have some sort of A/C because it was hot. The rec center needs work but i would definitely stay there again.

Armando, unfortunately this season has been unusually warm in Mammoth. Normally going to the mountains is a great "get away" from the heat and AC is not needed.

We had plenty of room for our family of four, and it was a good value for the unit. It could use some updating (an electronic keypad would be helpful, and the shag carpet has seen better days), but we enjoyed our stay.

Sinks in bathrooms were either super slow draining or not draining. 1 bedspread had blood on it and sheets looked dingy/dirty. Things in condo were older than pictures. We were disappointed.

Thank you SO much for letting me know about the slow drains and the drop of blood on the comforter. Hope the individual was ok that lost blood. This is the first I have heard about these problems and I will get fixed. The sheets are provided from the maid service through the local laundromat. I will inform him of the older sheets. The pictures posted are from my phone and I will add some additional pictures on my next visit.

The ski lift does not operate in the summer months therefore walking distance to the lift is moot. Many ski areas offer summer lift transportation to town. The unit’s electrical system cannot handle 2 appliances at one time. The breaker blows. The unit is adequately stocked with toiletries. The pool and hot tubs are clean. The carpet is very old and dirty. There is no AC which we didn’t expect. 2/3 fans provided are old and dirty. I had to clean them before using them. I give this a 3/5, It’s ok. We’re not germaphobes but the condition of this unit is a concern.

Mammoth Lakes offers a trolley that runs a very large route through sightseeing locations in and around town. The trolley has a stop across the street from the Chamonix office which is really convenient! And it is free!! The Main Lodge has access to the top of the mountain. That is unusual for the circuit to blow but it is being checked for safety purposes. The complex does not have AC as it is generally a mild summer and is not needed. Unfortunately this has been a hotter summer for most areas. I will make sure the fans are checked to provide clean fans. With the heat this summer, they probably have had heavy usage by guests. I have left multiple fans for the guests comfort. The condo has been a choice for many guests this summer which makes for a lot of traffic throughout the condo. Cleaning of the carpet is already scheduled. Maid service is provided after every guest and they are the eyes for the owners. I strive to have a clean and safe environment for every guest.

Location, location, location! This unit made accessing the slopes very easy. Just a short walk up around the corner and you're at Canyon Lodge. And you can even shorten that walk (coming home) by skiing to the bottom of Chair 7. Another great feature is its proximity to the Trolley line. There is a bus stop right in front of the complex or you can use the Village Gondola which takes you directly to the village below.

Great Fun!

Great stay at mammoth

Super close to canyon, well priced, so much snow. The hot tub was a little gross but the condo was a classic mammoth snow cabin. We had a great stay.

Trip was very good. Condo is served out needs. They always seem to cram to much furniture into the size of condo it is. After we got it heated up the place was comfortable. Do not care for the heaters turning on and off during the night.
