About this property

12 Minutes from Glacier National Park~ Moose Creek Cabin at Lazy Bear Lodging

Welcome to Moose Creek Cabin at Lazy Bear Lodging! Come and relax in the Rocky Mountains in the town of Hungry Horse. Our cabins are located 10 miles (12-minute drive) from the west entrance to Glacier National Park and in the northern portion of the Flathead Valley. Our building is on 1.5 acres and borders Forest Service land.

You will find 2 queen beds, 1 full bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen, and comfortable living room. The living room has a 55" Smart TV and Blu-ray/DVD player.

All towels and bedding are supplied for your stay. The kitchen includes all dishes, pots and pans, measuring cups/spoons, and baking pans.

Outside enjoy your private fire pit to roast marshmallows by and picnic tables to dine in the great outdoors. Also you'll find a play house and swing set for children to enjoy.

BBQ on your front deck to enjoy cooking in the great outdoors.

Also available is a high chair and play yard to be used if you have small children accompanying you.

** Please note: We reserve the right to decline requests leaving 2-day gaps in our calendar**

We have key codes for access to the cabin, you can arrive and check-in anytime after 3 PM. We ask that you check out by 11 AM.

We have 2 additional cabins attached on our property that can also be reserved for your stay. Attached cabins: Trout Run-VRBO# 694575 and The Bear Den-VRBO# 716506.

We ask that you be considerate of the adjoining renting neighbors. Please be mindful of wildlife in the area including putting trash in bear/wildlife-proof trash bins. No camping on property.

We do ask for a signed rental agreement that outlines the terms and restrictions of our cabins.
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.

Wonderful stay, 5 days, quick drive to get into Glacier Park before the rush at 7 am. Beds were great and kitchen had everything we needed. Definitely would stay again!! Thank you!

This was an amazing place to stay for the last part of our vacation! It was close proximity to Glacier Park and Hungry Horse, and still close enough to Columbia Falls for evening enjoyment. Very child friendly with the playground, backyard “chill” area, and convertible toilet seat (sounds weird mentioning, but he is newly potty trained, and loved it!!!). It was clean, with anything we needed for our stay, including a cooler! Thank you for a lovely “Moose” stay.

Great stay for families

Moose Creek was just what we needed for our Glacier vacation. The cabin was pristine, the kitchen and bathroom were like new and were well stocked. The beds were comfortable and the cabin was cutely decorated.

Cozy cabin!

We really enjoyed our stay at Lazy Bear Lodge. The cabin was perfect and it had everything that we needed. It was in a perfect location and only 15 minutes from GNP.

Great place to stay near GNP

This little cabin was great for a small family like ours- clean, fully equipped kitchen with an outdoor grill. Conveniently located near flat head river, 15 mins away from Apgar Visitor Center, and close to small grocery shops and eateries. Thanks for the bear spray and huckleberry jam!

Wonderful Time at Lazy Bear Lodgings

This is one of the best places we’ve ever stayed and a terrific value for the money. It was very clean, convenient to Glacier Park and furnished everything we needed as well as extras like bear spray and huckleberry jam. The host was generous with personal help. We loved it!

Glacier National Park Visit

Great location 15 mins from Apgar Village. Went into the park every day for five days hiking and swimming. Highly recommend this home! Well maintained and cozy.

Perfect location

We had such a great trip to Glacier National Park! We LOVED the cottage. It was the perfect location. Short ride to the West entrance at Glacier. Close to many restaurants and Breweries. Laura was great to work. Would absolutely stay here again!
