Come stay in Gulfport's only original Art Deco home. Enjoy 1938 art deco architecture with modern amenities. Located in Gulfport's historic waterfront art district, this home is owned and has been completely renovated by an award winning custom home builder. (sunny) Days of Our Lives pays homage to the owner's grandparents as well as the originality of the home's architecture.

Three blocks from Boca Ciega Bay Beach, two blocks from 16 restaurants and bars
and ten minutes from St. Pete. Beach, this duplex's central location makes it a
perfect location to enjoy sunny days and create lasting memories. The newly installed pool with sun shelf helps pass the long Florida days of summer. The entire property can also be rented for private party's and wedding receptions. 2 Units combined sleep 10.

We live in the area and chose to stay as a staycation. We had an amazing time! The pictures don’t do this beautiful property justice. We absolutely loved the pool. The lounge pad was perfect for our 2 year old. He keeps asking to go back. The host was incredibly responsive too! We will definitely be staying here again. Thank you so much for your hospitality!

Perfect spot for us as we tried to cram a lot into a week, great access to gulf beaches and to downtown St. Pete. The house location to town couldn't get any better, a quick couple blocks and all the shops and restaurants are at your feet. We ate at three places and frequented a couple of them twice, charming town, kind welcoming people and surprised at the gorgeous shops and boutiques! At the end of the street is the bay and a nice beach for your morning or evening walk. The pool at the property was nicer than pictured, perfect pool to get a few strokes in with a lap pool and a very nice tanning ledge. Loved the private feel of the property with the high cement walls and private courtyard. House has high-end finishes, you can see the passion and attention to detail. Everything is new and comfortable. Only suggestion would be to put a few hooks or drying racks in the pool area or courtyard to hang towels and wet suits. The bathroom is very small for the price, the mirror needs a ledge, plus more hooks to hang towels and clothes. The extra bedroom is in the basement, gorgeous well-maintained room with attached laundry room - very cold. The house and property was better than pictured. Ample parking too. We had a very comfortable stay, Jimmy provided everything we needed.

Perfect for a family getaway

The pool was absolutely perfect for me and my kids, they were in it the majority of our stay. Everything inside was clean and tidy, wonderful layout. The host was very prompt with responses and offered suggestions on the area. We had a really great time there.

Unfortunately our stay was not great. They recently had a storm that caused many problems when we got there. The main TV in the living room had to be replaced it was not workinf. Frigerator had a leak and water line had to be connected and even after it was connected you could barely get any drinking water. We had heavy rain while we were there which caused many leaks in the house.The first bedroom was almost close to flooding. The upstairs hallway had a leak. And we did not get anyone to respond quickly. I was very disappointed how long it took them to respond. heavely into the downstairs bedroom. Also the ceilings were linking water into the floors. There was also no Sonos system working in the pool area. The owner at the end gave us a free dinner

Anna, Thank you for the review. We’re sorry the stay didn’t meet the standard we hold for this home. Severe storms the night before and morning of check-in knocked out power-related systems which we were unaware of until you notified us, which included the living-room TV, the amp for the pool Sonos, and the sum pump that keeps groundwater away from the foundation. A solar panel was also pulled off the roof, which caused the leaks in the bedroom, hallway, and ceilings. We heard from you, via text@ 11:55PM Sunday night about the refrigerator and TV, then Monday morning about the leaks. Crews were arranged that same day; the TV was replaced and the other items, except the amplifier, were addressed by late afternoon Monday. We also refunded all fees for Sunday night because of the water intrusion. We’re sorry it felt like no one responded quickly enough. If the refund or any other detail doesn’t match what you remember or VRBO records, please email us directly so we can review it with you. We hope you’ll consider giving the house another chance when conditions are normal. We’d like to host you the way this property is meant to be experienced. Sincerely, Jimmy

Lovely duplex with all the amenities you need. Fantastic pool, bicycles, proximity to restaurants and shops. Amazing host, very responsive and flexible. Couldn’t have asked for a better vacation.

Great Location, Quaint Accommodations with Nice Pool

We wanted to check out this part of St. Pete and this was a perfect place to stay. Walking distance to local restaurants and coffee shops, close to the beach. Quiet neighborhood and the house is very cute! Pool and private patio were nice as well.

It was nice that we could walk into town to shop for gifts and grab a bite. The variety of restaurants was excellent. I also want to give kudos to Jimmy for suppling a great sound system at the pool. Maybe some bikes built for short girls.

Great stay in a great house from a great host.

First off, the star of the show is tightly contested, is it the relaxing cozy pool, the amenities provided (beach chairs, umbrellas, bikes, grill, etc.), or the host who is undoubtedly the nicest, easiest to deal with, and most responsive host you’ll find. Our stay was easy, comfortable and memorable. Will definitely be recommending this wonderful spot to friends and family alike. (As long as we aren’t plotting to book it again for ourselves)

We come to Gulfport often. This was the first time we rented this house. Walking distance to all the great restaurants etc. We especially enjoyed the pool after a day at St Pete Beach (only about 6 miles away).

Fantastic stay

We all really enjoyed staying at this property. It’s within walking distance to so much fun activities. The pool was great. We loved the sound system in the pool area. Jimmy was a great host and stayed in touch throughout our stay to be sure we had everything we needed. I’d love to stay here again in the future!

Great Home in a Great Neighborhood

Jimmy was very communicative leading up to the stay detailing check-in/out procedures. The home is gorgeous, and the pool is top notch. Close to everything Gulfport has to offer. Only 15 minutes to Downtown St. Pete, St. Pete Beach, and 20 from Fort De Soto. We love Gulfport, and will definitely hope this home is available during our next visit.

Absolutely Fantastic Stay!

From the moment we got to Florida, we were ready for sunshine and relaxation! Sunny Days did not disappoint. It’s the perfect electric atmosphere for a romantic weekend by the pool and hanging out. Plus the location is spot on to walk and see the sights and restaurants in Gulfport!
