This was our second time at this particular cabin. Both times Joey was so accommodating! The cabin has a lot of room and everything you need! Perfect location and loved the boat slips. We had a great vacation/stay here and will continue to rent from Joey!

Annual Family Vacation

Had a wonderful time. We stay in this cabin ever year and as always it was perfect for our family. Clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Having a boat dock was a big plus. Joey is a great host and is always easy to work with. We are already looking forward to next years stay.

Couldn't ask for anything better

Had a great time, the home was the perfect place for a guys fishing trip, the chest freezer saved the day as we had a very successful trip, the home was extremely clean and well stocked, the covered front porch was the perfect gathering place, can't say enough good things about our experience, our host emailed nearly every day making sure everything ok and if we needed anything. The host even allowed us to use 2 more boat slips that weren't included in the agreement, that was very generous of him. We definitely recommend this place and will always try to book this one every time for our annual trek to Greers Ferry

too expensive

I have stayed in this property before evolve took over. The rate has gone up double. I hope other vacationers get to see this review. The property is great, but the charge that evolve ask for is too high . evolve takes the money and if anything goes wrong you have to call the owner, then work out the problems. As before evolve took over you could ask for reservations the next year with no problem working with the owner, now you have to beat others from reserving before you. evolve charges a 30% down payment and you loose this if you cant come for any reason

Great Experience and we will come back

The property manager was very accommodating. He allowed us to check in early. The house was open and roomy and with the family you did not feel confined. The open floor plan made life easier when everyone was inside. The large dining room table accommodated everyone for breakfast and dinner. The porch space was a plus with the outside flat grill. It was nice while someone was grilling everyone could mingle and the fan was a plus to assist with keeping the bugs away. The neighborhood dogs were really friendly and the kids loved that they would follow them around. My younger son wanted to take one back with us all the way to California :) The boat dock is a hop skip and a jump away :) With having the dock we did not have to go out and float in the middle of the lake. We tied a rope to the dock and the kids had a blast on the lily pad. I asked the property manager if we could stay longer and he helped with finding other locations to see if we could stay longer. He went out of his way to accommodate with this. We have stayed in Higden at other rentals for the last 5 years and we will not stay anywhere else next year except at this location. Everything was perfect and our family made great lasting memories.

We have stayed at this property several times and have always been very pleased with the property. There is plenty of room inside and out for all ages. The property is stocked with everything you need for cooking. Love that it has a washer and dryer and an extra freezer. The owners are great to work with and are always quick to answer any questions. I would definitely recommend staying here and look forward to staying here next year.

Boat Slips, Comfy Beds & Entertainment Spaces!

Description and pictures were accurate. Open and roomy inside and outside entertainment spaces for our large family was spot on! One of the most accommodating we’ve ever found. I always say you should please your guest with a good night sleep if you do nothing else....NOT one bed in this property disappointed! (7 beds!!) Added bonus was the freezer space... no need to make multiple ice runs each day for coolers. The access to the slip was nice and we even had someone on crutches. The area was peaceful and very well maintained with a mixture of old and new properties. Location on the lake was so convenient because it was close to town by road but close to play spots on the water by boat. Last but not least... shout out to the owners for checking in on us before we even needed to ask for anything. Which we didn’t need anything but how friendly was that?! Made me feel even more welcomed and almost like we were staying at a friend’s place. Thanks guys... hope to stay again soon!

Absolutely "BEAUTIFUL" place

I stay at a lot of places on the road and this place I can honestly say is one of my favorites. Super Clean and lots of room for a large family or a large group of friends. Jeff was very involved from the very min. I booked to make sure my stay was comfortable and that I had all the amenities I needed. I tournament fish and there was plenty of room to park 4-5 trucks and boats. The large front deck was so nice to sit out on in the evening after a long day on water. I will absolutely stay again.

Sympathetic and caring managers

My family and I had a wonderful experience with this property and the managers of the property. I was very surprised and touched by receiving a sympathy card from the managers after they found out that we were staying due to the passing of my dad. I would definitely recommend staying here and would choose to stay here again over trying anywhere else.

Just one note

really loved everything about the property. The only thing we noticed was there was trash left from the previous renters under beds and couches so maybe a better deep clean like pulling out furniture to vacuum. Otherwise everything was excellent!

What a pleasure to find the unit as described! Unit was clean and fully equipped for a large group! Really enjoyed the boat slip that is available with the unit and fishing off the dock was fun for the little ones! Thank you for a memorable weekend!
