Get swept away by the beauty and serenity of Dauphin Island and stay in this great two bedroom, two and a half bath Sandcastle condo with wonderful views of the Gulf of Mexico! The Sandcastle condominium complex is located on the Gulf with two pools and boardwalk to the beach. Sleeping six guests, it offers a fully equipped kitchen with brand new stove/oven, microwave, and fridge, and breakfast bar, dining room with sleep sofa, cable television, VCR, DVD and all the amenities of home. Upstairs has two bedrooms with private balconies and private baths. You'll love spending time on the private deck off living room offering a fabulous water view. East end location puts you within 1.5 mi to the Sea Lab, Estuarium, historic Civil War-era fort, ferry landing, Audubon Nature Preserve, sacred Shell Mounds, Cadillac Square, and Magnolia Park, as well as the island bike path.

Community amenities include two pools with covered cabanas, additional parking for boats and boardwalk access to the beach. Number of guests limited to 6 guests.

I don’t want to say too much good stuff about this place and beautiful island because I want it to stay that way! What a perfect getaway! The beach was quiet after Labor Day weekend and was a perfect setting for us.

The location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach. Plenty of room for 2 adults 2 teenagers and 2 smaller children. The balconies were amazing especially the one off the living room, I got to drink my coffee and watch dolphins swim by with the most amazing breeze that lasted all day! We loved this place and will definitely return!

When our air went out they had it up and cooling to the 70 degrees we set it on within 3 hours - that was really good. Nice and neat set of buildings in a gated community. The pool was about 95 degrees and the beach is featureless but clean. Older unit, but nice layout. Closest to the beach. Was not as clean inside as expected, but was ok. Price was fair for the unit. The rental folks were friendly and helpful to get our air back on.

Great long weekend!

First time on Dauphin Island. It was very relaxing and quiet - just what we were looking for! The condo had more room than we expected and every possible kitchen item we could need. Loved being able to park the car under the unit so it wasn't baking in the sun!
