The house was an easy drive to everything we wanted to do. The fenced in area was perfect for our little dog to take his potty breaks while us two legged travelers relaxed on the back deck watching the tubers. The only complaint my family had for the house is that we didn't book a longer stay!
The property was very clean and had everything we needed to cook. It was per-friendly and our dog enjoyed the fenced-in backyard. Very close to town. We will stay there again if back in the area.
The hosts were awesome! Great communication! The home is delightful and beautifully decorated! Great, quiet location to take advantage of all Helen has to offer.
We enjoyed our stay so much , the house was clean and thoughtfully set up! The back yard was relaxing and we enjoyed the fire pit! We would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Helen😊

Home is centrally located to many family outings. Home is clean, stocked and comfortable. Family really enjoyed the hockey table and granddaughter had us read her the birdhouse book every day.
What a beautiful property with lots of room to move and an incredible backyard. Very close to downtown Helen and Casey was a great communicator! Would stay here again!

What a wonderful place to stay. The house is in a great location. Very clean and just relaxing. So many good things about this property. Casey is a great host. Thank you for allowing us to celebrate our anniversary here.
This was the perfect place for my family to stay. The home was completely renovated and is spotless. The backyard is fenced in so our dog could run around without worry. There was plenty of room for everyone in my family. The location is great. I would definitely stay here again
The house was very conveniently located in a quiet area. It had everything we needed and a ton of different kitchen appliances, everything was thought of! The home was very clean and comfortable for my family and I really enjoyed sitting on the front porch. Thank you!
What a beautifully restored home! We loved and admired all of it! Cozy and very comfortable, well appointed kitchen, baths, ...everything was better than we expected! I take my mom and her 2 sisters (all ederly) on a vacay every year. This location and home was perfect for them. I would definitely stay here again!!

We’re thrilled to hear the girls trip was amazing! Thanks for choosing us for your stay!
Quaint little house, with plenty of space for a family. Nice fenced in yard, with firepit. Nice patio for morning coffee and watching the birds. Would definitely recommend to anyone, who likes their privacy, though wants to enjoy the festivities of Helen.

Great hosting you and the family, Ron! You were wonderful to work with!
This rental was a perfect stay. I can imagine anything that was missing. The house and property were clean and well maintained. The decor was homey and welcoming and the amenities were spot on. The little extras were so nice, like the vinyls, the fire pit, and the backyard grill. The kitchen was well stocked with all the utensils, dishes and cookware that we needed for our stay, perhaps the best stocked kitchen to cook in of any rental we have used. The proximity to the town center of Helen was convenient. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this rental.

Thanks so much for choosing us for your stay, and for the wonderful feedback! We love a well stocked kitchen and spend quite a bit of time in Helen ourselves, so we know what is critical for a long stay! We truly appreciate your having taken the time to share those details, as they do make a stay so much easier (especially with a family)! We’re so glad y’all had a wonderful stay and hope to host you again sometime!

Great time
My family and i had a great time . The property manager is amazing . She was very helpful. The house was clean and the backyard was great for our fur babies! We had a great time at the firepit roasting smores with our kids. Their are two large dog crates and a pack and play that arn't listed on the site that was nice to have . I brought my own so it would've been noce to know that . Also i thought the waterpark would be a few minute walk but its more like a 45 minute walk . The river is across the street but its on a busy road .we have small children and didn't want to walk far with them. Everything is in very close proximity and if you feel like walking then its not to far but we drove everywhere. There is a grocery store a few minutes down the road that has everything you will need . I would definitely recommend this property !

Thank you so much for staying with us at Das Vogel Haus! We’re happy to hear that the whole family had a great time.
We will certainly add the dog crates to the list of amenities. We are still a new listing and purchased those one week prior, so apologies that the listing wasn’t updated.
Also, to clarify, we are a short walk to the Helen Tubing drop-in point (when tubers begin their journey). Many guests cross the street and buy tubing passes there. Helen Tubing also has a water park (admission is separate) and the water park is on the other side of town. I apologize if that wasn’t more clearly explained in previous conversations.
