About the host
Hosted by Rachid Schultz and Nazha Schultz
My wife Nazha and I moved here 26 years ago thinking this would be a great place to spend a little time. Well, we never left. When we decided to raise a family we couldn't think of a better place for them to grow up. I'm a transplanted New Yorker and my wife was born in Morocco. We met while working in the hospitality business in New Jersey. We married shortly before we arrived in Big Sky and this is the only town we have lived in. We have two sons, Rachid just turned 18 and will be going off to school in Seattle in September. Yasin is 16 and will be starting his junior year at lone peak high school next fall. I guess we have almost come full circle here. We will be empty nesters soon.I'm not sure if that is a good thing or not.
Why they chose this property
We bought this property mainly for the spectacular views we get from every room. It didn't hurt that the property came with a second building that had a rental apartment already to go. This was a big factor as being first time home owners. The additional rental income helped out during those early years. Of course it didn't hurt living in a nice quite neighborhood were kids could play without any worries and being able to watch the boys walk home from school was an added bonus.
What makes this property unique
One of the biggest benefits of living in this home and in Big Sky in general is the fact that when we come back home from vacation it feels like we are starting a new one. Another big plus is having yellowstone park just down the road. How can you beat having that just over your fence line a bit. To top it off we have an never ending parade of family and friends who come and visit. I guess that's a good thing
