Hi Susanna! It was never determined if the lockbox was broken into or if it was not properly managed by you, ie you did not close it well and / or forgot to scramble its code. It was also strange that on your arrival day, that you did not remove the key from my lockbox used to access my apartment and keep it with you in a secure place during your stay, but rather chose to put it back in the lockbox right outside my apartment door while you were staying with me. At any rate, and within 2 hours of your report and on a Sunday, I had the lock changed in my apartment at my expense, meaning for a short while, you had the only keys to my apartment. This was a a great deal of trust shown on my part toward you. I have also, in an abundance of caution, had my old lockbox changed to a new one, even though my tests showed it working perfectly. We are a gated property, in a semi rural area (right on the beach in a small fishing village), with onsite security and an extensive system of security cameras in the hallways and common areas. I am sorry for your inconvenience, but please next time during your stay, take custody of all apartment keys and keep them with you at all times until your departure.

Hi Robert! Thanks for your important feedback. The amenities that you mentioned, hot tub, jacuzzi in the Bahia's common areas are removed from our amenities list, pending their repair. The snack bar at the pool and on the beach were up and running during your stay. They are open on weekends, as our VRBO ad states. The snack bar is operated by building management. Building management is currently analyzing a business model for the restaurant that is sustainable. During the low season, as a for profit entity for an outside concessionaire, it is not profitable venture. I checked the women's steam room last night, June 22nd and it was working. I reached out to you several times by email during your stay. I only heard from you when you let me know about the shower head in one of 3 bathrooms, sending a plumber within 6 hours of your email on Tuesday during your stay. I even can by to visit on Wednesday during your stay to touch base, since I had requested feedback about how the shower head was working after the plumber's visit and you did not reply. Our Spectacular Beachfront Apartment is on the Pacific Ocean, that is different from the Atlantic / Caribbean and inland lakes. On the Pacific Ocean, tides rise and fall about 18 feet twice a day. Many enjoy watching the tide rise and fall and how the beach and swimming conditions change with it. We have a long stretch of beach, about 1 mile in one direction and 4 miles in another until you come to a river, which can be crossed on foot in the dry season. There are shells and driftwood to discover and many other interesting things to see and collect. The wind / breeze is typical of our summer season (during the Northern hemisphere's winter). Breezes come off the mountains behind us, refreshing the beach and blowing away insects, which we do not have, either in our apartment, around our many onsite pools or on the beach. It does not blow all the time. Yes the Tocumen International Airport (PTY) is just outside Panama City, a vibrant, metropolitan, skyscraper City of just over a million people. Many people arrange for private transportation to and from our apartment and this airport and these drivers know the traffic patterns. Those who rent cars, please ask me about flexible check in times, so as to schedule your drive in the most convenient times. Some guests stay one night or more in the City, either before they visit me or just before they leave. That way they see things in the City and are closer to the airport. The Tocumen International Airport is also accessible by our modern metro system from many Panama City locations. While staying in our totally beachfront apartment on the Panama Riviera, there are many things to see and do for day trips, as you saw. There is a day trip to El Valle, a small town built in the crater of an extinct volcano in the mountains, a day trip to La Laguna de San Carlos, a lake high in the mountains, and many other options.

Hi! Perhaps I miscommunicated. My apologies. It is a slow oven. In this apartment that I stay at with my family, my daughter baked meatballs in my oven and they turned out great. Again, my apologies.

Hi Paul! Thanks for choosing us. I am sorry about your experience at our gate. Our condo has now implemented a condominium management app where I generate a unique, individual QR code for arrival day to show the guard at the gate. The guard also sees on his /her app the list of guests expected and for what apartments on any given day. I am sorry this was not in place during your visit. We have since corrected this issue at the gate and I invite you to come and visit us again.

Glad to know our totally beachfront luxury property was to your liking. The closets and drawers in 2 out of 3 bedrooms were vacant, except for just a few critical supplies / items sometimes needed by guests, such as children's toys and extra bedding and blankets. There was room in 2 out of 3 closets to hang clothes. The master bedroom had one out of two dressers vacant for guests items. Both dresser tops in the Master bedroom were cleared, except for one ceramic dish to hold jewelry. There are 2 ottomans in the Master bedroom that guests can use as a suitcase rack. All bathroom counters and showers were clear of personal items. The living room and dining room are clear of clutter. Overall the apartment is extremely uncluttered. and very spacious. I personally have stayed in VRBO units that had much more of the owners' personal items in all the bedrooms and bathrooms. That being said, I will clear out the few remaining personal items immediately from the Master closet. Thanks again for choosing us for your beachfront vacation.
