We really enjoyed exploring the area and our cabin was a great home base. Very responsive hosts who seemed to be interested in us having a pleasant stay. Clean we kept cabin.
Everything was nice and close to our cabin. Great local food and coffee. A short trip to the west park entrance. Cozy little cabin with everything we needed inside.
We had a wonderful stay! I highly recommend staying at this neat, cozy, well appointed cabin near West Glacier.
Check in was easy & efficient, we appreciated the driving instructions + dining recommendations, too.
Cabin is along a busy road, but that didn’t bother us. It was a really great place for the 2 of us to stay!
We had a great time! The cabin was very comfortable and cute and a perfect home base for exploring Glacier. Laura was an incredible host - very accessible and she provided a wealth of information, bear spray, etc. We would definitely book with her again if we come back to the area!

Clean, well kept, updated. Laura was very accommodating and made the check in/check out process very easy. Highly recommend. Quick access to Glacier Natn'l Park, and town of Whitefish
Laura was an incredible host! She had shampoo, conditioner, dish soap, coffee, and even bear spray all ready for our use! We were able to do our laundry and have a full kitchen. Property is beautiful! Highly recommend!

The location is right off interstate and traffic is loud.
The bed was super hard and there were no other comfortable seats.

Great little cabin
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Trapline Cabins, and Laura couldn't have been nicer. The cabin itself was newly remodeled and very clean. Laura provided us with a fold-out bed, which was surprisingly comfortable. All of the appliances and kitchen items looked brand new and we loved her decorating style. The only downside was the fact that we were right along the highway, but that was mentioned in previous reviews. The proximity to West Glacier, Kalispell, and Whitefish was great, and the price was very fair. Overall, we loved it, and Laura is a lovely host!
Even though the property was near hi-way 2, we felt it. Was quit. Your properties were clean, clean clean. We had everything plus a few extras (good coffee) and soft water, big fluffy towels, great parking spot, very nice laundry facility and an area to grill and visit with friends, it was convenient to Glacier Park, Kalispell, Whitefish and Colombia Falls, which had some great restaurants, and a great grocery store, lots of great coffee places including the new black rifle coffee store, excellent, in Kalispell. Thank you for providing us with all the comforts of home.

Fabulous "base camp" for the Glacier National Park area
My husband and I stayed in one of Laura's cabins for six nights with our dog. Our cabin was very clean, well designed and comfortable. It was a perfect place to live while touring the area. Laura is a prompt communicator planning-wise and once we arrived, she gave us great suggestions about where to visit and eat. Her dog, Toby, got along very well with our dog and we enjoyed his company. Each day, after hours of driving and walking, we'd return to the cabin with a sense of "home" and a sigh of relief. We'd then sit outdoors and enjoy the mountain view. The cabins are very close to Glacier's west entrance, Whitefish, Flathead Lake and other beautiful spots. As Seattleites, we greatly appreciated the high speed internet, a rare finding in rural Montana. We highly recommended Laura's cabins..
The numerous 5 star reviews and information on the listing are accurate regarding cleanliness of the cabin and the comforts of the bed. The kitchen had everything we needed for preparing meals, as well as having coffee and sugar in a canister waiting. Much appreciated. Laura was responsive and helpful with answering questions about hikes in the park.
The only drawback was in the location, right off of the busy through route in town, so there was road noise through the night. After the first night we got used to it, and certainly enjoyed our stay there and experiences in the park. Laura also kindly provide canisters of bear spray. So we were prepared, but thankfully, didn't need to use!

Great location for Glacier loop
These cabins are extremely clean, well built, and well maintained The kitchen has every utensil necessary for preparing great meals. Laura added local honey, oil, vinegar, and roasted coffee for that extra personal touch. She has taken a lot of care with landscaping for pops of color around the cabins. Although the cabins are located adjacent to Hwy 2, the noise was not an issue. For wheelchair user questions...We brought a folding wheelchair ramp as there is a slight step up into the cabins. The cabins offer an open layout so they are "doable" if you have upper body strength for bathtub transfers without grab bars and are in a manual wheelchair. From our initial email contact, Laura was very open to the ramp and my husband's service dog without making a big "fuss". It was so nice to crash in the cabin after long warm days. We could crank up the cool fan, sip on a local beer, and lounge. While we didn't get to meet Laura as we were so busy cramming in the sights, her communication was outstanding. Thank you Laura...our stay was relaxing and stress free!

great spot for visiting the Park. Family owned business and everyone very helpful. I made a last minute change to my plans and they were very flexible and accommodating. I would gladly return to this spot again!
Wonderfully clean and organized. Host is very receptive and responsive. Great location close to the park but also with quick access to nearby towns (Columbia Falls and Whitefish). There is some road noise like others reported, but with the AC unit on at night you barely hear it. Not truly an issue. Honestly no complaints!

About the host
Hosted by Forrest & Marielle
We live for the untamed wilderness of Glacier National Park and the Flathead Valley. Our passions include off-grid living, supporting local businesses, and immersing ourselves in the community. We are foodies, love the path less traveled, and an enjoy a good laugh around the campfire. We couldn’t imagine a better place to live happily and raise our growing family.
Why they chose this property
We took one trip to The Flathead Valley and ended up moving here seven months later. It is our pleasure to share this incredible part of the world with you.
What makes this property unique
Our location is so perfect to access every activity in the area- but especially Glacier National Park. We are in the northeast corner of the Flathead Valley just before the entrance to the canyon leading to Glacier. You are 15 minutes from the Park, but also only 10 minutes from Whitefish, an easy 20 minute drive to amazing Flathead Lake, and minutes from several award winning golf courses. We have three different public fishing accesses on Flathead River within 4.5 miles of us- 2 are within one mile. Whitewater rafting on the fabulous Middle Fork of the Flathead River is located in West Glacier only 15 miles up the road.
