Light and airy renovated 1910 rowhouse, with exposed brick and hardwood floors, give an updated and urban feel. Just a few blocks from Salida's historic Downtown, this unit is within walking distance of parks, shopping, restaurants, bars and Arkansas River access. The Salida Farmer's Market is held just one block away on Saturday mornings, where you will find fresh baked breads, organic fruits and vegetables, and locally produced artisanal foods (June-October). 5th & D is minutes away from wold-class hiking, kayaking, fishing, biking, skiing, and hot springs. This was a perfect place to stay. It is within walking distance to town, very clean and well appointed, and although it is rustic and charming the appliances and bathroom are modern and updated. We would happily stay here again.

This is a great location for skiing Monarch in winter and hiking in the area in summer. It is well-appointed and feels very homey. We have stayed here many times and hope to return again this summer!
