It is a unique property on the St.Croix River that can sleep 11 whether your looking to entertain at the lodge or spend time relaxing up river on one of our rental pontoons. .

Sandy beaches are just minutes away by boat great fishing, water skiing and just relaxing on the St. Croix river!

Great for week or weekend getaways great for lager groups.

Enjoy the play area for the young ones or the bar in the lower level for the adults.

This lodge is located 1 mile north of historic down town Stillwater

Enjoy the new walking path that is just minutes from the lodge to walk your way right into great eats with many restaurants and shopping.

We traveled by boat from the Lake Pepin area to Stillwater. The house is located right on a marina. We enjoyed the house, which is the perfect size for a large group! Awesome location.. close to all the fun! Would definitely rent here again!!

Wonderful stay! Highly recommend! Chris is top-notch. He did an outstanding job making our group feel welcomed. We had 5 teenage girls in our group, they adored him! He provided us restaurant recommendations, helped prep our s’more contest fire, and did a last minute boat ride. The Ole Saw Mill is comfy, clean, and well stocked. Lots of memories made!

We had such a wonderful stay at the Lodge on the River! The setting was absolutely beautiful—peaceful, relaxing, and the perfect place to enjoy time together. The lodge was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and welcoming, which made our stay even more enjoyable.Captain Chris was awesome! We also booked a private boat tour of the St. Croix River, which was such a fun addition to our stay and an experience we all really enjoyed. Seeing the area from the water made our trip even more memorable.We also loved how close the lodge was to Stillwater. It made it so easy to head into town, explore, and enjoy dinner at one of the local restaurants, while still being able to come back to the peaceful setting along the river.Between the beautiful location, spotless accommodations, Captain Chris, and easy access to Stillwater, it was the perfect getaway. We made some wonderful memories and would definitely recommend the Lodge on the River. We would love to return!

This is my 2nd time staying at the house, I would highly recommend for a girls weekend. Theres everything you need plus a great outdoor space. The check in and out process is the easiest out of any place I’ve stayed. The caretaker is on premises to help with anything. Close to town!

This lodge had a very low key, laid back atmosphere. The view of the lake was great. The care taker was extremely friendly and co-operative. The beds were comfortable and had nice bedding. The kitchen had plenty of matching plates, bowls and cups and good appliances. We had a very pleasant experience.

A great stay!

This is a FANTASTIC rental. It was perfect for our group with an amazing view. There’s so many beds and everything is so comfortable. Jodi was very responsive leading up to the booking, and Pat was very helpful and available. I would book here again!

Gem of a find!

Absolutely loved staying at this house. It’s a beautiful location, very close to downtown Stillwater with lots to do! We had a blast on this trip and the house was perfect! Pat stopped by to check in on us and made us feel so welcome. Would definitely come back!

Great family vacation spot

This is a great place to have a family vacation. Pat was so helpful with everything-from helping us with our pontoon boat trip, starting our fire in the fire pit, to recommending places to see and things to do. The house has a large table to gather for meals and several beds for groups. The town of Stillwater has lots of shops, Teddy Bear Park for the kids, and a wonderful historic trolley tour.

Home and location was perfect! We had the best time there cerebrating my daughter’s bachelorette party! Pat was great making sure we had everything we needed and were taken care of. Highly recommend and will definitely book again if we are in the area again!

Nine women stayed at the cabin. We had a fabulous time. Up until we got there if I ever had any questions, Jodi was very prompt and courteous in responding. Once we got there, Pat was such a great host. He was so friendly and attentive to our needs. The cabin was clean, comfortable and accommodating for all of us. The deck with its view was fantastic! Highly recommend.

Excellent property

It was very helpful to have the caretaker on the property. He was very attentive and helpful. Very convenient location both to the river and to downtown Stillwater. There is plenty of space and the patio is awesome.
